"They showed up on time, worked diligently, and got the job done in our very tight timetable. The guys were friendly and accomodating, and I have referred them to friend and family who have also been satisfied.

showed up as promised, performed great quality work, was extremely neat (in terms of covering up the work site and cleaning after the job was done), and gave good advice and guidance.

"Over all the job went well. It all took longer than we anticipated but that seems to happen in construction. We encountered some snags which included finding asbestos and having to have that removed. The carpenters were fantastic.
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his crew worked quickly and accurately. The finish carpenter,
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
, was precise with all the details. The cabinet company did a fabulous job and all the cabinets throughout the house are exactly what we wanted. While there were some issues encountered,
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
was quick to get it all resolved. The only crew I was not pleased with was the paint crew but
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
addressed that, and made sure it was done to his standards. I will be calling
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
in a couple of years to work on our basement.

"I have used
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
for over 20 years for window washing and about ten years for gutter cleaning. I never thought to write a review since I have only been an Angie's List subscriber for four years. Obviously
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
does quality work because our longevity speaks for itself.
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
just mentioned to me when he was here that he is a very good dry
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
, but I have not used him for that. I know how meticulous he is with everything he does so I am sure his dry wall work will follow suit. That is just his personality. Another thing
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
does for me every year since he is on a ladder, he checks my second story dryer vent to be sure it is clear. Really,
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
is more than its namesake.
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
is a problem solver.

"I originally hired
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
several years ago to solve an immediate water leak problem from an upstairs bathroom We were pretty poor at the time and he fixed our issues quickly and cheaply. We promised ourselves that we would hire him back to complete the job.
Beginning in May we started a complete remodel of our master bath. It also involved tiling and finishing off a second upstairs bathroom and leak repair (water leaking from shower and tub into stairwell ceiling).
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
gave us great information on where to look for tile, cabinets, counter-tops, etc. Once we decided on the design we wanted
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
went to work! He was mostly prompt to the job-site and he and his crew worked a good hard day everyday. Even though the project seemed expensive I often wondered how he made any money based on the hours he worked. I truly felt as though I was getting a good value. After the bathrooms were remodeled we decided to replace all the windows in the house. The price was comparable to other quotes from when our neighbors had replaced windows.
Work done
New counter-tops 2 bathrooms
New tile floors - 2 bathrooms
Complete gutting and remodeling of master bath
(installed a heated floor - awesome!)
New windows for entire house (including a garden window and replacing non standard "decorative" windows)
We discussed project changes often - and with remodel work on an older house I expected and planned on some potential disasters. No major changes and
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
discussed each change/step/cost right away. In each case I believed we made the house better than it was.
I consider
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
a friend of the family now. He is reliable and does great work. He was also had a young man named

"They never sent me a bid. Please note that I didn't want to provide an overall rating of their work, since I don't have any knowledge of their work. The "A" is just a placeholder, since it was required for this submittal.

"This was a very frustrating project. My reason for contacting this business in the first place was the Angie's List groupon, and a lack of time on my own part to complete work that I could have done myself. I was supposed to come away with a completed, textured ceiling in a12' x 13' room in our basement, as well as two minor projects worked on while the taping mud was drying. I ended up paying nearly $600 (after the groupon discount of $255) to have 95% of the ceiling hung (one recessed section had not been touched), plus taped and mudded, but with no texture on it and no other projects done. Clean-up had also not been done, and apparently no drop cloths or plastic had been used, as I kept finding small globs of taping mud on shelving, appliances, and other things in the room, in addition to the dust.
Communication was also very poor. When the workers arrived, they didn't know that they were scheduled for up to 6 hours at my home, and were planning to leave in 3 hours. This was fixed, but later, they didn't call me an hour before completion, as I'd requested (then again, there was no completion, so...). The office had directed me to return home to pay the workers, but they left without notifying me. When I reached them, enroute to their next appointment, they said the office would make payment arrangements within the next day or so, and seemed to think I should know that. That call from the office didn't come for three weeks, so I wondered if the company was embarrassed about the job and reconsidering charges. It did finally come, however, so I complained about the gap between the project as originally discussed and the actual end product. I also thought that the price was about a hundred above what I'd be quoted for the man hours (didn't have that written down, however), and in any case, high, given the amount of work accomplished. I was reminded that I'd received a discount already, told that it took longer than expected due to additional, unexpected factors, and that it was a tough job - one of the guys had even cut his hand on a ceiling fixture and had to run to ER (while I certainly feel compassion for this, it later occurred to me that the billing hours would suggest that I was still charged for work hours during that ER trip - the trip would also explain the limited amount of work that was accomplished). She did apologize for the mess left behind, and indicated that this was not how they did things; she would speak with the workers. She said that she could also speak to the owner about getting me a discount, if I called them for additional work in the future. I responded that, if she was serious, she should find out about that first, because I wouldn't otherwise be calling them again in the future. She was going to find out about that...almost a month ago.
I should mention that the work that was done, was done reasonably well. The workers themselves struck me as the kind of guys I'd want to support with my business, and whom I could trust in my home while I was at work. They probably anticipated a simpler ceiling (this had duct work across one end), and one of them was stuck with about 45 minutes of leftover wiring to do that wasn't
in the original plan, but the original plan was supposed to be a
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
of 6 hours, primarily to allow for drying time for the mud, and including additional work done on other projects, plus texturing the ceiling... I just don't see how I could recommend this business to anyone after this experience.

"Excellent work! You cannot tell exactly were the dog door was. He matched the wall texture and the exterior siding & paint. Quality work...I have no complaints!"

"
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
is a very congenial professional, does great work and has many ideas on how to do things. The "big deal" was icing on the cake! A general contractor for $299 a day? Can't beat that! I would have him over again to do additional work when and if i need some done."

"Although the weather did not cooperate as well as I would have liked, the project was completed in a very timely manner of approximately three weeks. The first problem
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
(
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
) needed to resolve was the relocation of a small 10' X 12' storage shed that was currently on the site where the workshop was to be build. The relocation of the shed turned out to be a little bit of a struggle, but was successfully moved via placing several black 4' sewer pipes under the shed and rolling it to it's new location. Thereafter the concrete subcontractor went right to work excavating the site and setting the forms, rebar, and interior wire mesh. Approximately two yards of gravel were also used in the process along with some pink sheets of foam siding that was placed around the interior perimeter for reasons I'm not clear on, but must have been required per code.
Also completed at this time was approximately 100' feet of trenching to accommodate the power, water, and sewer lines.

It should be noted that when the subcontractor dug the trench they hit a buried guttering runoff junction container and made a mess of the runoff container. I only mention this because
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
(
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
) dug the container up and replaced the container with a newer per code junction container and never asked for a dime as some other contractors might have done. The repair took a few days to complete and I'm sure the cost made a small
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
in his bottom line. This is a trait that I have noted with regard to
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
. If they did not plan on something or something goes wrong they will not ask for additional funds to cover the issue or miscalculation. They just fixed it and did not even hint around about it. This is an issue I have heard other people complain about regarding other contractors.

The day the concrete was poured it was quite interesting because it was raining. The subcontractor build a plastic roof over the excavated site and completed the pour of approximately 13 or 14 yards of concrete in the wind and rain. After the forms were removed I examined the slab the next day and you would not have known the concrete was poured while it was raining. The remainder of the workshop went pretty much without delays or issues (see pictures). The quality of the work performed by
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
(
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
) was nothing less than superior (a pun). I currently do not have a third project in mind, but if I did I would not hesitate to go to
Vancouver Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
first.
