"Best service mechanic I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Showed when expected, worked in a timely manner and finished the job promptly. Very great pricing." I would definitely recommend to anyone that has a Boat and I will be contacting them from now on for future service.

"This guy is a serious drug addict, I know of at least two other people he has ripped off. He is a con artist. He will lie lie lie to you and when you catch him" in a lie, he will continue to lie. DO NOT use this guy, he will find a way to rip you off.

Boat Dealer reviews in Vancouver

He was scheduled to do a repair for us on Friday August 7 at 5 pm. We called
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
around 4:15 to confirm that we were still on, and to make sure that he was on his way. He confirmed that he was on his way and everything was on schedule. We waited at the
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
for an hour and a half and he never showed. We called him, texted him, and left voicemails during that hour and a half and he never answered and never returned any of our calls.
Subsequently, we went to his Facebook page to leave a negative review stating that he is unprofessional and unreliable. Within 20 minutes of posting the review, he replied to the review claiming that he lost fuel and time driving to the
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
and that we were no-shows. We were at the
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
looking everywhere for him, and he didn't bother to call us if he was in fact at the
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
It's ironic that
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
was so quick to respond to a negative Facebook review, yet couldn't be bothered to call us back or return or numerous voicemails and texts.
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
is unresponsive, unreliable, unprofessional, and we question his credibility and ethics.

Horrible pool and walkway caved in while doing job. 8 years later bulkhead is bulging and not supporting property. Called various of time to come to assess situation spoke with secretary left messages
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
doesn't have the decency to return calls and doesn't stand behind his work don't use. Destroyed my father financial and doesn't even care took his money we paid full price and never even cared about the mess he left and still having issues. We need to hire someone else to fix his mess and it's going to cost thousand more!!! Beware!!! don't use him.

After one month of emails he shipped 2/3 of the original order, but despite his promises, never credited the $1000 overcharge. Then the company fought the dispute of the $1000 charge.

This is my third time working with
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
and I am sure it won't be my last. I am very happy with the truly professional service I received, on a Saturday, with delivery and custom installation.
First they did some zippered chair seat cushions for me that I love. Finally those hard kitchen chairs are comfortable. Then they did a small side chair in a precisely symmetric fabric that looks as good underneath as it does on top of the seat. Then I had five custom-upholstered wall panels made with a plywood back, and the carpenter worked with the upholsterers to get the sizing just right for the custom trim work that frames the panels. There was a little miscommunication at the shop between master and apprentice and the batting/padding didn't wrap all the way around behind the panel (fabric did, but not the batting). It meant they were just a little too narrow to fit the opening. You don't know how good a business is until there's a problem, and I found out these folks are very good.
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
, the owner, came out on a Saturday to inspect the problem and understood right away what had gone wrong (the panels were too
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
and wouldn't fit in the custom moldings made for them). He took the panels with him and ten days later they were repaired. He brought them to my home, with his helpful wife on a Saturday after shop hours when they were headed to a social event. There were still a couple of fit issues but frankly, they were very hard to see and only a perfectionist would have noticed.
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
is that perfectionist. He took the panel in question down the two flights of stairs to his van, unstapled it, added more material in the right place and put it all back together carefully, even though he was on a personal deadline. It looked exactly right when it was installed again. The panels themselves have the floral patterned fabric all in the same place as you look across the five of them together. Everything is precise and where it should be, despite the fabric being a large-scale radially asymmetric print. This is an excellent group of professionals and you can trust them with your most particular project and expensive fabric. I am impressed that
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
and staff clearly care so much about doing the job right.

First up: I told
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
I would write a negative review of
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
on Angies List, and he said, quote, "I don't care." So here it is.
In summary, the bill provided by
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
charged us for bottom cleaning of our boat, which they did not do, which we never hired them to do, so I refused to pay for it. Owner
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
's response was to threaten to put my name on a list of people who don't pay their bills, so that no one in the marine industry would do work for me; in essence, "black ball "me. This is perhaps the worst customer service I have ever received.
We requested estimates from two dive companies and chose to use the other as they were less expensive and more highly recommended. We had used
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
a year ago and it appears that someone at
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
assumed that since we used them last year that they should just go ahead and do the work on our boat.
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
must get either written or verbal approval after sending out estimates, and they did not get approval from us before working on our boat. It was a total surprise to hear that they worked on our boat without our approval; our not responding to their sending us an email estimate does not qualify as our approving it. The lack of a response is not approval!!
They did change the zincs, without our approval, and I was willing to pay for that: The bill read:
"Complete bottom cleaning of shaft, props, thrusters, intakes, rudders, trim tabs, hull and water line- $63"
Sure, sounds cheap but I didn't hire them to do anything and they didn't clean the boat, it had been cleaned the day before, so I refused to pay for it. It also read "Remove and replace zincs- $32", and that I agreed to pay for after the fact.
For that, Owner
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
went ballistic and threatened that if I didn't pay the $63 for cleaning they didn't do, he would put my name on a list. I've told several in the marine industry about this and none have heard of a list, but they had heard of people unhappy with
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
In the end, I paid the $63 because it was billed incorrectly: The minimum fee they charge to service a boat, so
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
DePaulo told me, was $63. If they bill had read "service fee- $63", I would have gladly paid it in spite of the fact I didn't hire them. The diver saw our zinc anodes on the deck and assumed he should replace them, not knowing he wasn't hired to do it, an easy mistake for the diver to make.
The management and ownership of
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
need to work on their customer service skills, confirm with the owners that their estimates have been accepted by the owners, and I'd recommend not threatening a customer before pursuing all other alternatives. it's said, "The customer is always right", and in this case,
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
Vancouver Boat Dealers Provider Name Locked
got it totally wrong.
Hint: don't work on boats until you get approval, it can only end badly.

Red robbed my family. Please read before you buy a boat from him. We moved out of state and trusted him to sell our boat. He kept charging us for services and not telling us. We paid him in full. We had a boat and a trailer for sale. He had one buyer and he did not tell the buyer our boat came with a trailer for 1,500 dollars. He then negotiated the price of our boat down (we told him to us...e the trailer to negotiate but he said the buyer did not want a trailer). Then he sent us our very low check and took more money out for "checking the boat." Then he waited for us to cash this check and sent the bill of sale. He SOLD a brand new trailer to the buyer for $4,000. He robbed from both the seller and the buyer. We called the buyer and he would have loved to purchase the trailer if he would had known it was available. He used our boat to make more money on a new trailer and then told us to take our trailer off of his property or he would put a lean on it. Good luck with guy! Get everything in writing.

Showed up late. Was afraid to get in the water to do repair. Immediately misdiagnosed that problem. Never repaired the boat. He didn't look at the things that I asked him to and then sent me a bill for essentially a service call since he did not complete any of the jobs I asked him to do.
- Carl B.

Excellent response and easy to follow instructions for locating the fuse. Once we replaced the fuse we were in business. We had planned to go boating with some friends but with a dead engine it looked like we would have to cancel. Maritime saved the day! We were on the water in no time. Thank you!! We have an electrical issue on the boat that needs to be addressed at some point so we'll be calling Mobile Marine to fix it.
