Business Description: We are a full service piano moving company that has been in business serving the greater Puget Sound Area since 1958. We do not use any subcontractors in our work. We have our Household goods moving license with the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission #HG016503, and our USDOT carrier #1975408 which is issued through the Washington state Patrol and US Dept. of Transportation. Any type of household goods moved in the state of Washington is regulated by WUTC. They set the rates for what we can charge and how we charge it. If you want a legal licensed bonded and insured mover, the only way to be sure of that is to ask them for their WUTC license number. We have to provide proof of insurance and bonding with the WUTC and we have to file annual reports of our operations with them. If we are audited and they find that we have undercharged or overcharged on one of our moves there is a stiff penalty for each infraction. This may sound anti-competitive but it assures the consumer that the price they pay for moving should be the same regardless of the moving company.
