"We discovered that the drywall just above the baseboard next to the fireplace in the living room was wet. We called
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
removed the siding to determine the size of the water damage. The repairman removed the siding around the chimney and found that there had been a carpenter ant infestation sometime in the past. (We currently subscribe to a pest control service.) He removed and replaced the bad studs and particle board around the chimney. He then put the siding that was in good condition back on and replaced the bad siding. Finally, he painted the siding and patched the bad spots in the drywall. Finally, he hauled the damaged materials to the dump.

The work was done well. It took four days, spread out over a couple of weeks (while I worked with our insurance about reimbursement). My only tiny complaint is that I stayed home one day to wait for the
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
. I had to call the company when he didn't show up at the scheduled time. Other than that, the company was good to work with. we haven't had any issues with the repairs in the two months since they were completed.

"I was in the process of selling my home and needed to have some repairs done to satisfy the buyers, it was important to have things done quickly as I was running out of time.
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
showed up promptly, I had an estimate in my hands the next day, and he came out the day after that to start work. The work was done quickly and I felt the cost was more than fair. I went under the house and was pleased with the quality of the work that I was able to see. I would not hesitate to use

again.

"I contracted them in November to finish my unfinished basement and told them I would need to have the job done by the 22nd of December. There was a little problem in that I had at about the same time a flood in my basement which I submitted to insurance to repair. The company
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
did an excellent job helping me clean out the debris and also rebuilt a part of the basement that had been damaged. Then
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
came in and in two weeks finished my basement area I call the den, the laundry room , hall and bathroom. I was given places to go and pick out my preferences for rug, tile, linoleum, bathroom cabinet, plumbing, paint colors and to my amazement a shower for the bathroom basement. I had not even thought that was possible. I really liked the people I worked with through the entire basement completion. The guys from
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
were great, the plumber was great, so was the electrician, and the rug and floor installer who came in and did the job just before his vacation in Hawaii.

and Joy from
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
were absolutely wonderful! They also had suggestions I never would have thought of regarding ways to do things. If I would have tried to subcontract out the work myself, it never would have happened. As it was 2 days after they finished I had the family christmas party (of 25 people) at my house and everybody fit.
I know that if I had done subcontracting it wouldn't have turned out as well. I forgot to mention the plasterboard group and the painters who also did a wonderful job.
I realize that if I had done the contracting by myself it may have been a bit cheaper, but the hassle would definitely not have been worth it. I would give this company a thumbs up for a job well done.l
Grateful for a job well done;

Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
is great to work with and has so far lived up to everything he has promised. He has gone well above of what would be expected to get things done and the work quality is great. He will be the only person working on my house going forward as I know it will be done right and within my budget.

"We have used
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
do do extensive repair and remodeling our home, and have they have exceeded our expectations in every way. I would highly recommend them.
We selected them because they were recommended by a friend who's a professional kitchen and bath designer. She has worked with many contractors over more than a decade, and said they would certainly be her first choice for work on her own home. She said that over and over again she's seen them go out of their way to ensure clear communication with the customer, to plan things well enough in advance to avoid unpleasant surprises, to do an excellent job of keeping to schedule, and to be both responsible and responsive. Our experience has matched that description.

handled estimates and the business side of things, while
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
was the primary implementer, doing most of the work himself but sometimes assisted by others. We found both to be very easy and pleasant to work with. What's more, when we had a rush job
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
came out and installed carpet himself to ensure that it was done on time, which was really above and beyond expectations.
We never had communication problems; both

and
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
seemed to be very

with us. As another poster noted,
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
does tend to emphasize the things that can go wrong or cause delays in a project, but we consider that a positive: as my friend warned us, it's better to have someone acknowledge that "you never know what you'll find until you take down the wall" than for them to give you firm estimates that keep slipping again and again (which we've had happen with other contractors). When things did go over, they seemed to try really hard to reduce costs for us, even when it hurt them.
Of course, our projects sometimes had delays, either because something proved to be in worse shape than expected, because suppliers were late with tile and the like, or due to sickness. Such things are inevitable, particularly when the Great Recession has caused businesses to reduce their size and thus flexibility.

The highest compliment I can give is that I've recommended them to my friends, and when we are ready for further work we'll
certainly continue to use them.

"I called to talk about the work we needed done on our remodel.
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
answered when I first called and immediately sounded unhappy to be taking the phone call; he said he would need to call me back a little later becuase he was too busy at the time to speak on the phone. When
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
called back 1 hour later I explained that we are completely renovating our downstairs. We had already gutted the entire space, had plumbing done and were working on the framing ourselves when we decided to hire somebody. I explained that we needed the framing finished and there would be potential for more work, i.e., drywall, flooring and trim work, in the future.
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
immediately said that he "doesn't like working with do-it-yourselfers" because they don't typically want to pay someone much money to do the work for them. He then goes on and on about how he has such a busy schedule and doesn't want to squeeze us in for a quote if it won't end up resulting in business for them. He also said that he assumed I was an "Angie's List caller" and that he's received poor reviews on Angie's List from people who called him and said he was rude to them on the phone as well.
Needless to say, I did not continue with the conversation and will never refer them business. Poor attitude and customer service. Assuming he knows exactly what the client is willing to pay before giving them a quote is foolish.

"THC’s quality of work is fantastic and the bid was both accurate and very competitive. THC was clean and professional before, during and after the project. THC was flexible with our schedule and able to adjust to some on the job scope creep. THC was punctual and communicated well before, during and after the project.
Thanks
Redmond General Contractors Provider Name Locked
! We'll have you back when the kitchen cabinets are ready to be replaced!
