Hvac reviews in Puyallup

When we called for an estimate they worked with us to schedule as soon as possible and the office representative was very helpful and professional. Our appointment was followed up with an email confirmation. When the consultant came out, a complete quote was provided, and he explained all of our options. There were no surprises after the quote. We wanted ac as soon as possible and they were able to reschedule a less urgent furnace install to accommodate us. They ended up running ahead of schedule and were able to do our job a day earlier which was great.
The day the work was performed they called ahead of time to give us a heads up for when exactly they would arrive. They
explained the schedule for the day with who would be there to do what piece which was helpful to be able to plan my day. It was an all day job, completed on time. The only part that was frustrating was the scheduling of the electrical inspection, but Ranger has no control over that, and actually let us know ahead of time that it may not go according to schedule so I was prepared.
Everyone we worked with was very knowledgeable and professional. My neighbors have already asked if we would recommend them and we certainly have.

Took a few days to get on the installation schedule. Competitive pricing. As far as water heaters go I am pleased with the quality and the appearance of the new tank. The space available to install the tank is off the ground on a shelf in the garage next to our furnance and gas lines.

did a good job adding the expansion tank and lines with limited space to work with. Company was professional in all aspects of service. It's been 8 months since installation and we have not had any issues with installation or the product.

During the season's first intense heat wave in the Tacoma/Seattle area (mid

) my 96 yr old mother lost her air conditioning. That is uncomfortable to anyone, but can be deadly for the elderly. Everyone was calling heat/ac companies and they were all swamped. We did get some people to come and give us bids and no one could do the work "today." I used Angie's list from

to research providers and have always had great success with this service. I chose
Puyallup HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
, which was the most expensive, because of their concern, professionalism, clarity about product and process and push to get my mother service as quickly as possible. With each contact from initial call, to (on time for appointment) initial assessment of problems, to (on time for appointment) salesman, to installers and every person in between, each and all have been outstanding in every way. There were four or five men involved in the removal of the old components and installation of the new....they moved large potted plants, went underneath the house, moved the washer outside so they could drill the lines in the wall where they would not show, to cutting out the old system and beautifully installing a 100% better and quieter system. The workers were professional, kind, efficient, focused and well trained. My elderly mother's old system, which was less than 8 yrs old and bought and installed by a competitor and regularly maintained by them, was mismatched and not very quiet (it made a LOUD bang! when you shut it off) nor efficient, but it too was expensive but died prematurely. That company got an F on their review, which is not something I generally do. I had no idea how quiet and efficient and delightful a heat/ac system could be until this one was so expertly installed. Much hard work went into the install and the next day,

When one figures the time from first call to last visit, and the last call where we were informed that the initial assessment fee was not deducted from the final payment and would be refunded to us....well, the reality is that

was the absolute best decision, worry free and totally worth every penny. They stand by their products and the work done by well trained people. I have no concerns about my elderly mother staying cool in summer and warm in winter. Thank you

Scheduled a routine furnace inspection they offered as a deal. Technician arrived on time and began inspecting the furnace only to come and tell us that our furnace wasn't working. It had worked with no issues for the entire year so we were definitely surprised. He said he couldn't finish the inspection since it wouldn't fire up and that we were looking at $400-500 to get it running again. This is after he charged us an additional $100 diagnostic fee. He left without leaving any paperwork or receipt explaining why it wouldn't run and told us he would call back with an estimate in the evening. we've yet to hear back and mysteriously I woke up in the middle of the night to an extremely warm house. He had turned the thermostat way up and never readjusted before he left. I paid $160 for nothing.

The company was quick to respond and the service technician was punctual. There was a little miscommunication about the service ordered through Angie's List and what was on his paperwork to do, but it was resolved with a phone call and all was good.

I forget the technician's name...I think it was

....he arrived early during the 2hr window they gave me, calling first to let me know how long it would take him to arrive.
It went wonderful. He checked the furnace, the notice that a piece was close to failure, discussed my options with me and replaced the bad pieces once we decided it would be best for the future functioning of the furnace. I also asked him about doing an Air Conditioner check. He spoke with his boss over the phone and they decided to do it that day to avoid me having to set up an additional visit, which would cost more. He checked over the air conditioner, which was in good condition. He even cleaned the outside for me and hosed down the cleaner, showing me the correct way to do that so as not to damage any of the inner workings of the air conditioner !
He went above and beyond, by far!

Naturally my husband was out of town (actually, out of state!) when unexpectedly most—but not all—of our house lost power late in the afternoon of 28 March—a Friday, wouldn’t you know. Less than an hour prior to the loss of power, our permanent generator, which

I had recently started a load of laundry through the dryer, our music sound system was on, the furnace was running, and I had started vacuuming, but, since it was still broad daylight I had no lights on and wasn’t using power anywhere else. Then over the course of several seconds the vacuum cleaner powered down, then off altogether, and I realized the dryer had stopped. The vacuum cleaner was still firmly plugged into the outlet, so I unplugged it and then headed out to the garage to check the circuit breaker box. I discovered multiple circuits tripped (but in no particular pattern), so I reset them all, reset all the others for good measure, then checked the generator’s circuit breaker box and determined that all of its circuit breakers were in their proper position. However, after resetting all the circuit breaker switches in the main box, the only power in the house that appeared to be operational was the power to our living room lights. After performing various checks suggested by my husband over the phone, checks by a friend who graciously came over (and conferred by phone with

while trouble-shooting), all of which turned up no clues as to the source of the problem and no resolution to it,

suggested to my friend that we call the power company, thinking that perhaps full power wasn’t coming to the house. The power company reps responded in a timely fashion and were professional and very pleasant but weren’t able to determine the source of the problem either. It turned out that full power was, in fact, coming to the house, so they suggested I consult with our electrician. By that time it had to have been close to 9 PM, but I called

, who, to my relief, answered immediately. I updated him on the situation, and he replied that he’d come out early the next morning, which he did. He determined that a wire (which I think he called a contactor) associated with the generator had vibrated loose over the course of time to the point that when the generator shut off, only partial power was being restored to the house. He immediately tightened the wire, which solved the problem.
I so appreciate

’s expertise, his willingness to come to my rescue with little notice and on a Saturday morning (in pouring rain, to boot), and his unfailing good cheer. And when I asked him what I owed him, he said there would be no charge. Wow....

The service was excellent. I found
Puyallup HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
on Angie's List several years ago and they have helped me out on several occasions. Each time they have been prompt, friendly and very helpful. Each time what I needed was accomplished. This time I had a motor on my furnace that had to be replaced. They helped me in the past service it, but we knew it was eventually going to have to be replaced. That day came on New Years Day. I attempted to resolve the issue myself and it didn't work. I left them a message that evening and got a call first thing on the 2nd. They were at my place that afternoon. The part was ordered and they were able to come back on the first day I was available. They always try and work with my work schedule. The follow up service was quick and everything worked great the first time.

is one of the service technicians. He is always professional, in a good mood and willing to answer even ( I am sure ) some of the dumbest questions. Always with a smile. He is always on time and even available early at times. He calls ahead and makes sure it is convenient. I would absolutely recommend them.
