There are different pay grades and options for dog training classes. Group classes are much cheaper in the ball park of $15-30 a class.I did
's Bronze Program which was $390 for 4 individual classes. Each class lasts about 1-2 hours. She stays as long as it takes for you or the dog to learn. She comes to your home and points out things that you should correct. She emphasizes training the OWNER as much as training the PET.
I have a black lab / american bull dog rescue who was not good around other dogs and full of energy.
within the first 15 minutes with my dog completely changed his demeanor. He's fine around other dogs and I feel completely in control of the dog.
There are times when I don't even realize my dog is sitting next to me waiting for permission to go outside or get out of his bed.
I travel a lot for work and bring my dog with me to hotels, Starbucks, and a variety of other public places. My crazy puppy now just sits next to me and minds himself. Especially in hotels, I've had people come up to me and compliment how well behaved he is.
She's always available via cellphone and I've called her a few times just for maintenance questions along the way. After working with
it's like joining a club with all of her other clients. She does a great job of keeping in touch for continued classes should you want to move even further.
I have recommended her to some of my neighbors and they have then passed that on as well.

we've had a great experience with
. Nick is knowledgeable, professional, and equally skilled at working with the dogs and coaching their people. I contacted
because our young Australian
is reactive to other dogs when he's on leash. My husband and I had been working on our own with him, but had been having trouble making progress without more structured training sessions. After an initial consultation with Nick, we agreed to a package of training sessions, and I've been very happy with our dog's progress so far. He is getting much more comfortable with other dogs, and we've definitely noticed a difference when out for our walks. The private training sessions are well worth the price! We'll be continuing to work with Nick in the future, and highly recommend him to anyone who needs any help in teaching their dog to be a happy, well-adjusted part of the family.

Brain provides an excellent service. We purchased the lifetime dog training package. We have been very pleased with the services that we have received.

started training our lab when he was 3 months and has been training him for now for 4 months. I am pleased that we purchased the lifetime package because different behaviors have emerged that have been able to be trained and partly because we have a very stubborn puppy. Another excellent service provided, is the dog boarding services.

My 1 1/12 year old lab/pit bull mix is a generally

dog when she's around my husband and me, but after having her for 6 months, she had developed 2 "problems." The first problem is that she's very scared around strangers, mostly when we have visitors in the house. She

under the dining room table and generally avoids people - she definitely doesn't let them touch her! The second problem is that she's a terrible leash walker. She has to smell EVERYTHING and she goes crazy with excitement when she sees other dogs (she loves playing with other dogs as we take her to doggie day care). Our frustration with the leash walking made me start looking for a trainer (we had spent about $200 at a Petco training, which I don't advise b/c it's a waste of money. We didn't learn anything.) I found

here on Angie's list and decided to give them a call based on everyone's feedback, their location and price. I contacted them and got a response within a day or so from my initial email. After providing some info in my email, they thought an in-home behavioral consultation was the best course of action as opposed to enrolling in a class.

was assigned to come out to see us, and so glad she did! She spent about 90 minutes with us where my husband and I explained the problems. Since she came to our house, she saw the problems first hand. She started us out with some training activities to do, and then a couple days later sent a very detailed report with additional articles/you tub videos/etc to look at. She also included a recommended training plan. I will admit I was little leery to see the additional training section of the report b/c I was worried that she would recommend an unnecessary/high number of additional classes, but was pleased to see that she recommended another 2-3 sessions (which are $95 for 45 minutes). My husband and I intend to proceed with the recommended training schedule.

is very professional, and a very warm person. We are seeing improvements in

already (although we still have a ways to go!). I think dog training is really expensive, but I think

's prices aren't excessive - they are within other trainers I researched.

Took my dog for grooming and they did a great job. Was alittle hesitate because they appear to be more into training. The groomer

had many bad behaviors that we had fostered - barking, eating food off counters & plates, annoying guests at the door, chasing the UPS man, the list goes on! They came to our house for multiple in-home training sessions and transformed our unruly dog into a polite, easy going member of our family! Through their expertise we discovered that by allowing all the bad behavior, we were actually the problem, not

We hired

I had just got a rat terrier puppy from the shelter and things were not going well between him and my older dog. Even if they were getting on fine I would have called
Puyallup Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
to help me train the pup, based on the reviews I had read. I called
Puyallup Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
on Sunday, at my wits end and he said he could come over the following day. He told me what to do and not to do when he turned up.
Puyallup Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
took time to look at the food and treats I was feeding my dogs to ensure they were getting proper nutrition. Then he spent time with each dog individually and showed me some effective ways to train and command the attention of my dogs. Everything he said made complete sense. After he left, I had 2 calm dogs snoozing beside me!
Puyallup Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
gave us lots of homework and he gave me the confidence to give my dogs the guidance that they need. I look forward to working with him further!

is a lovely person who seems to like all dogs. She interacted well with both of mine. I was truly hoping to find someone who would just take my puppy, train her and bring her home! Most don't do that at all and the one that did, I could not afford! But,
Puyallup Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
was patient with my lack of ability and explained everything thoroughly letting me ask any question I came up with. She taught me a game to teach the puppy to come when called and that is also going well. Obviously I have faith in her as we will start on my older dog this week. He is neurotic and getting worse so hopefully she'll be able to help with that as well. It's more work than I wanted, but it will be worth it if I can have 2 happy, well trained dogs! I highly recommend her.

I really enjoyed
Puyallup Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
's friendly and professional manner. We got right down to training as soon as she walked in the door. She taught
Puyallup Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
immediately not to jump on people who walk in.
I could not believe it when
Puyallup Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
ignored kleenex sitting on the floor right in front of her. She is a one-year-old pup and it is her great delight is to find paper and tear it to shreds. She learned right away not to do that with
Puyallup Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
through positive reinforcement.
I liked
Puyallup Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
's methods and we covered a lot in just a short period of time. I am looking forward to our next 3 visits. If I work diligently with
Puyallup Pet Sitters Provider Name Locked
, I know I will have an even more loveable pup and not a mini-terror.
