communication on the part of the designer and uneven communication and willingness to take responsibility from others in the company.
The project consisted of a complete kitchen demo; new cabinets, counter tops, sink and appliances. It also included a demo of our ceiling and installation of all new recessed lighting. Finally it included a new floor for the kitchen and entryway although that was due to a design error

We have two important messages for prospective customers:
2) Your designer matters, and you have a choice of designers
We interviewed three different companies and chose Kitchen Plus based on excellent Angie’s list reviews, and the strength of our designer
of new lighting – he mentioned that they have an excellent person who does this work and that the added cost will be very manageable. We assumed that
Plus and that we would have to contract with him separately. And this additional contractor had up to three other individuals working in our house at any point in time. On a day-to-day basis, we weren’t sure who was going to show up. In fairness to
amount of drama. However given a number of glitches and coordinating issues, my wife and I had to do much more of the
overall contract management than we ever expected. For example, we never thought that I would be running back and forth to the paint store to buy more paint; the flooring store to buy more flooring that was damaged; the hardware store to buy special
lighting for the new canned lights, etc. My wife and I both work long hours and frankly we did not have this time
figured in. Based on this alone, we would not use

Since there was no one person who was responsible for managing our entire project, we were passed back and forth between

Some other positives about the company are the quality of their cabinetry and installers. The
cabinets are beautiful and of high quality. Our main installer,
entire project (including the additional contract work) I think it would have gone much better; but again, that is not their business model. Also they did complete the project mostly on-time with just a few day delay due to another design/engineering issue.
The end result is a kitchen that we are very happy with at a price that we think is very fair. We would consider using
very different agreement about overall contract management.
The team at MHI was on point with their scheduling, communications and coordination of lots of subcontractors and vendors that had to be brought in for the various tasks in a project this big.
It quickly became very obvious that the team at

We were told that he would get back to us within a few days of the visit with estimates. Several days went by and we did not hear anything. I finally got an estimate from the other company with Mr. ”
I spent around $4000. The main person who did the project was very responsive and very easy to work with. Unfortunately, he is no longer with the company. They got the work done in a timely fashion. We got what we asked for pretty much exactly. The person who was working was very friendly and very professional. The price was very reasonable. The basin in the shower cracked within just a couple of months once the remodeling was done. They came out and replaced it. They had to redo a part of the tile in the shower and on the floor. They didn't charge us to come back and fix the broken basin or any work they did but they did leave all the garbage behind for us to dispose of.The person we worked with is no longer with the company and we will not use them again in the future.”
We think we're the best, and we can prove it.
