Interior Painting reviews in Lakewood

Lakewood Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
was very quick in responding to our emails, text and phone calls. He had a team of 4, that worked very hard and quickly. He did his best in accommodating our schedule and needs. He met us for the final walk-thru and came back to finish an area that was missed or needed correcting. They helped us a lot and we appreciate the professionalism and care they take with their work.

Angie's Deal specified the room had to be all of one color. I had 2 colors and they accepted it with grace. One room was a touch-up only, where I was unable (myself) to make a straight line between the 2 colors and the ceiling

, too. The other had an accent wall. The third was one color, but had many areas difficult to reach.
Yes, I would hire them (husband and wife) again. Three caveats: 1) They did not putty any picture or other holes. 2) It was very difficult (for me) to understand

on the phone. In person, no problem. 3) Nothing - no furniture or anything else - was put back or offered to be put back; even on the 2nd day when paint was dry. All the furniture was just left in the middle of the room. Maybe because I had put it there before their arrival to help out.
I did have the rooms 90% ready for them - only a very few items left for them to move. I know this gave them more time to paint.
Yes, I'd hire them again - but get them to putty first & help move the furniture back!

Earlier, I had written a positive review for
Lakewood Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
based on the work he had done in my daughter's living rooms and bedrooms. At the time, we scoped the bathroom remodel as a secondary stage and I noted a follow up review would be done once it was completed. The bathroom has now been completely remodeled and was done with the same great level of professionalism and quality. As I was not at the job site,
Lakewood Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
kept me informed of the progress and sent me pictures as the work was completed. There was a very old shower in the bathroom that needed removed.

was very open about discussing the unknowns of what could be found once we pulled it out and saw how the plumbing had been done behind it. He was also very good at coming up with solutions once we saw that there was a need to improve the plumbing and drainage system. Overall, the remodel was done on time and on budget. The room (along with the other improvements completed earlier) have transformed my daughter's old house into a much more contemporary and fresh look. We hope to continue the improvement into the kitchen and other living areas next spring and will look to continue working with

to get this done.

We took advantage of the "2 painters for 8 hrs at half price" offer. We got what we paid for, no more. I would not hire them for full price.
The scope of the work was: Paint a 2-story stairway (2 tall walls only), remove the wallpaper from 1 regular wall (same stairway), and get that wall ready for us to paint ourselves.
They showed up a little late. The 2 painters were very likable on a personal basis. On a professional level, average minus. One painter tackled the 2 tall walls and it went pretty well, even though it took her 8 hours to do so. If I had a tall ladder (I don't, that why we hired "professionals"), I could have done it myself in less time. The other painter took all day to remove wallpaper from one wall. The deal was that this wall would be prepped for us to repaint it ourselves. Since it took all day to remove the wallpaper, they did not have time to prep it (texture it). When we questioned

owner) about that, he told us that he did not even have the equipment to texture the wall and that he would have to find somebody to do it for us (at extra cost). Question: why did he tell us that he would get the wall ready for us to paint when he didn't have the equipment to texture ???? He should have told us that before even starting the job, because that meant he wasn't able to complete it anyway and we wouldn't even have commissioned him to remove the wallpaper in the first place. We ended up having to hire someone else to texture.
We wrote an email to
Lakewood Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
, outlining what was't done at all or not very well, and he started arguing with us back and forth per email, until we finally gave up. We feel that a true professional shouldn't argue about his below-average work, but should do everything in his power to satisfy the customer.

It went very well. After looking over the house, he submitted a written estimate. When we accepted we gave him a deposit. He showed up exactly when scheduled, worked every day, weather permitting, until it was done. He works very quickly and efficiently as he has been doing this for many years. He started by power washing the house (old and not painted for many years), waited almost a week for it to dry completely. Then he spent a couple of days scraping, filling, caulking, taping, and otherwise prepping the house. He had recommended a very good quality paint and he ordered and brought the paint choices that I had made. With both the primer and the final colors, he first sprayed then brushed it in, then sprayed a last time. His work was meticulous, including the area surrounding the house, and when done he made sure we understood that if we had any problems we were to call. This was also in the agreement we signed with him.

They are fantastic. They bailed me out of a serious problem. I was pressed for time trying to prepare a condominium for new occupants and he finished a large job, painting the entire interior of this place in three days, finishing ahead of schedule and doing the job at half the price of another company I talked to. He has a great attitude he has a real can-do approach to the work he does. And the work was neat and professional.
