was very professional, punctual and thorough. I was somewhat
of going for the lowest quote we received because of" poor experiences in the past with sub-par contractors, but
was fantastic and we were very happy with the work he did. We will definitely give him a call when we need to replace the entire driveway.

If the state requires a contractor's license, then he needs to have a license in each state he intends to work in - plus state/local business licenses as applicable.

This does not mean there are not a lot of contractors who cross state lines without proper licensing - the penalties in may cases are not real severe and are just a fine, not criminal, so many take the chance.

As you say - argh  - many contractors are not really businessmen and have zero legal education, so many people get burned.

The new concrete looks great! The workers were very professional and did a great job. The work site was cleaned up and backfilling was done to my satisfaction. The company provided an option to seal the concrete but I decided to do it myself. The company provided information where I could purchase professional sealer instead of using inferior products from Home Depot or Lowes. I will be replacing my driveway next year and will certainly be asking this company for a bid. We are very satisfied with our experience with this company.

Good job, cleaned up, on time everyday. There was a 2 month delay from initial date scheduled, but overall very good work.

Father and two sons removed old driveway in a day, returned next day to pour cement, finish job. Sons cursed and used coarse language, prompting neighbor from behind to come over and ask them to keep it down because she had young children who didn't need to hear such language. The day they put in the driveway (summer of 2013) was a very hot (90 degree+) day and cement dried quickly... so quickly that they didn't impress seam down the middle of the drive but instead cut the seam. Also, trim around perimeter was not finished in several spots. Father returned to seal the driveway after several weeks. ///// That winter, snowplow truck knocked a couple of chunks out of the driveway.

replaced damaged section of driveway - snowplow service paid for the work. ////// This Spring we noticed a number of

(like tiny pot holes) in the surface of the concrete and called
Grandview Driveway Contractors Provider Name Locked
to examine and explain while the surface had deteriorated so much. We set a date for him to reseal the driveway. He asked me to power wash the driveway before the sealing was applied, which I did. It took me four hours. I told him the pockmarks on the driveway looked terrible and should not have occurred. "What else do you want me to do?" he asked. I felt like saying, "Do the driveway over, but do it right this time." But I didn't say it. While there are some

throughout the driveway, near the front there is a section about 31/2 feet in diameter that is completely chipped. In fact, when I was power washing the section, the section chipped even more. When he arrived to reseal the driveway, he accused me of lying about the power washing. "You did not clean this driveway" he said. He also said the

marking was because "you used too much salt on the driveway." I told him we did not use any salt on the driveway and further, no heavy snowplow trucks were used because we had the driveway and walk done by hand blowers after the damage caused by the snowplows during the first winter. I told him that I had powerwashed the driveway and, in fact, it had taken me 4 hours to do the job. He blew and I vacuumed debris on the drive left from the power washing. While I was getting the vacuum, he said to my wife, "What, do you think I'm stupid? This wasn't cleaned." We had a further brief exchange about the cleaning, while he was spraying the seal on the driveway. I definitely would not recommend

This project was nearly perfectly done, in my opinion. The contractor called ahead as he said he would to schedule the project. He promised a time of arrival and that time was met. The crew was efficient and professional about their work. I requested that my plantings on either side of the drive be preserved and they were. The project was completed ahead of the projected time. The driveway looks lovely.

The driveway and side walk look very good. 3-4 people asked who did our driveway and asked for their contact information when they walked by. They did it within the time span they stated. They did a good job with hauling away the old driveway material and cleaning up the debris.

They were very efficient and did a great job. The cost was reasonable considering the drive is very wide and long.
