"I called this office and asked what the price would be for stitches. I let them know that I didn't have insurance, would be paying cash, that my laceration was approximately an" inch long, and would need to know as precisely as possible the up-front cost. I was told $99 was the cost for stitches. This seemed to be surprisingly cheap, so I asked again whether they were sure that $99 was the total cost for stitches. Yes, the receptionist was sure. I went in and said "I'm here for stitches. I called in and was told it would only be $99 total. Is that right?" The lady at the desk affirmed. The PA and the nurse were pleasant enough, and I feel the procedure went well. I have no complaints about the stitches. Then, I was asked to go and check out. I was kind of surprised by this since I had already paid what they had confirmed 3 times was the total bill. When I got to the desk, I was asked to pay an additional $459 or something near that. I asked in a calm
what happened to $99 for stitches. The reply came "that's just for making the appointment." I then asked, "why didn't anyone tell me this when I asked three times what the approximate total bill would be?" They didn't have any response other than I should have known that it only covered making the appointment. I glanced at the bill and noticed they had charged me $90 for an ace wrap, adding insult to injury. I'm a reasonable person. I have no problem with professionals making good money. What I do have a problem with, however, is being mislead about price which then induces me to give my business to an office under false pretenses. Other clinics were willing to provide the service I needed for under $300, but I went to this office because of the misrepresentation of the ladies at the front desk. So, while the procedure was fine, I'm giving this clinic an "D" for not being up-front and honest, for employing under-trained and snarky receptionists, and for charging me, a cash
, far more than they could get an insurance company to pay them for medical supplies.

"I like that is a walk in clinic so I do not need an appointment. The staff is great to work with. I do have to wait sometimes depending on the season to get seen by a doctor once I arrive.

"It is like a fast food of the medical industry. They have a number of doctors, and any one of those doctors can help you. They have many locations, and I have been to probably 3 or" 4. The primary reason I go to them is for convenience. You don't have to set an appointment, and you can be helped within an hour or two of going. It is very convenient.

I was seen quickly and didn't have to wait, that was the only positive. The doctor was unhelpful and told me I wasn't having diarrhea and that I had food poisoning. I was given nothing for my symptoms. Rather than waste my insurance copay, I asked for refills on my three regular medications.
The doctor asked me to wait as he was having trouble sending them to my pharmacy. I waited about 5-10 minutes and he then said they were sent. However the pharmacy did not receive them. I called the urgent care and they told me only one of the three medications I requested was sent to the pharmacy (but the pharmacy confirmed they didn't receive any). The urgent care said I would have to come back in and pay another copay to get my refills. I'll find somewhere else to go.

My mother-in-law was there for a month and they were phenomenal. All privates rooms and they have a great staff and service. Any time of the day, it is very quiet. It is a beautiful place. The wonderful thing is that it is all private rooms. The staff is also available anytime. Anytime you have any questions, they were just right there to answer them. They are also very patient-oriented and they value your privacy which is so important.

The PA that I saw had x-rays done and wrapped my foot and sent me on my way with a prescription for ibuprofen and I will follow--up with my regular doctor today. As for the billing, issue, I am filing a complaint with my insurance company over the whole incident and am still trying to figure out what happened :(
I am extremely upset with what has happened. I have been going to the

Center since they opened their doors. Saturday was the last day. I will never return there nor will anyone that I care about.

As an update, the billing service advised that they submitted the claim to my insurance but it was never received :( and that they would file an appeal.

The physician/administrator is refusing to take my calls and/or return messages left for him. I should have never been asked to pay that balance as it would have been processed and paid by my insurance.

I visited the place 3 times and I met 3 different doctors for some serious issues. They were knowledgeable and provided good service. I also had a followup call later. They gave very good care and they were pleasant and they answered phones and provided information over the phone over some issues and the treatment was very thorough.

I went to this provider because I felt awful. I walked in to be seen with no appointment. I waited in the waiting room for 40 minutes while other patients were being taken back that came in after me. After 40 minutes the receptionist calls me to the desk to discuss issues with my insurance, I straightened them out and was seen within 5 minutes. They could have told me long before 40 minutes went by that they were having a problem verifying benefits. I believe, had they spoken to me sooner, I would have been seen sooner. After all that I was seen, treated and released within 30 minutes.

There were only two other patients who arrived about the same time I did. We were all called up within minutes of completing the required paperwork. I was seen by a physician's assistant who was personable, knowledgeable, and caring. I had delayed going to the doctor because I was expecting a huge wait at the office and I was hoping I would just get better on my own. But after getting in so quickly and seeing such a great care provider, I felt really stupid for not going sooner.
