was early and inspected exterior before Realtor and I arrived, was very thorough assessment and provided excellent report with pictures.

-Ron H.

"The pipe was already installed in the basement up through the roof from the home builder. ARS installed the exhaust fan and insulated it, installed a "trap"" in the sump pit, and put in a measuring device so we can periodically check to make sure the system is working and left me a free test kit. The installer was clean, neat and pleasant... very professional. He was a few hours late in arriving but when he did arrive he was sorry for the delay and performed all of the work that was contracted for. I would use this contractor again and recommend him to others.

Radon is a colorless, odorless gas that occurs as a decay byproduct of uranium and thorium. Radon forms naturally in the environment, and low levels can be detected in soil, rock and ground water. Homeowners that inhale radon are at risk of lung cancer and even death.

Radon Testing reviews in Dayton

All interactions with Radon Rid were top notch.
Dayton Radon Mitigation Experts Provider Name Locked
, who came to do the proposal,
Dayton Radon Mitigation Experts Provider Name Locked
, who did the installation, and
Dayton Radon Mitigation Experts Provider Name Locked
who handles the phone were all very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The job took about 3 hours and was accomplished without any problems. The quote for the job was similar to others we received. The factor that caused us to go with Radon Rid was the feeling that
Dayton Radon Mitigation Experts Provider Name Locked
really knew what he was talking about. Fortunately it turned out that
Dayton Radon Mitigation Experts Provider Name Locked
was equally as knowledgeable and efficiently and cleanly did the install. I think the company is focused only on radon, not also pest control etc. as were others. My only hesitation with the job is that I thought the cost was higher than necessary. As a do-it-yourselfer I of course thought I could have done it fairly easily. However, as noted above, all the quotes we received were about the same. Also, the job is now done; no telling when I would have gotten around to it. Our radon level was 4.2 before we had some water mitigation done and 10 following the water mitigation. A short term test following radon mitigation was 1.2. We are now running a long term radon test provided without charge by the commonwealth.

I called them and left a message initially.
Dayton Radon Mitigation Experts Provider Name Locked
called me back very quickly. We discussed the details and pricing. I received a 5% discount for being an Angie's List subscriber. An appointment was made for the next day.
The technician showed up on time and completed his work in about 30 minutes.
I hope to not have to deal with my radon mitigation system for another decade but when I do, I will contact this company again.
- Lisa H.

Came highly recommended. Spoke with owner on phone and he explained the process, etc. We exchanged series of emails. Owner was responsive to all questions and the crew that came out and did the work was efficient and professional. They pointed out possible issues and explained everything as they went along. I am very please with how the installation went and have already recommended them to a neighbor.

The folks at
Dayton Radon Mitigation Experts Provider Name Locked
were helpful and customer focused. They did all they could to help us understand how to address radon issues and did their work in a very professional manner.
- Diane S.

He was very thorough and explained everything as we were going through the house. The report was to us within 12 hours and he followed up immediately via email when questions came up reviewing the report. Unfortunately, our roof was too high for him to inspect, but he did provide three referrals on who could potentially do our roof inspection for us. Initially, we chose him because of the infrared screening he provides with the inspection, but after this inspection, I would choose him for the quality of work.

Dayton Radon Mitigation Experts Provider Name Locked
was helpful in explaining how things work and when to expect the results. She emailed me the mold and radon reports on a Saturday, which was a pleasant surprise. They seem like a good business to deal with, would recommend.

Dayton Radon Mitigation Experts Provider Name Locked
did a superb job mitigating the radon at our home, reducing the radon level in our basement to the same as outdoor air!
Dayton Radon Mitigation Experts Provider Name Locked
first scientifically evaluated the situation at our home. While other contractors proposed up to 4 slab penetrations and a tangle of piping,
Dayton Radon Mitigation Experts Provider Name Locked
proposed a single penetration followed by testing. He and
Dayton Radon Mitigation Experts Provider Name Locked
designed an elegant, unobtrusive system that looks and works beautifully. They were punctual and kept the work areas spotless. We loved the scientific, intelligent approach and the excellent solution for a difficult problem.

- Stanley M.

From start to finish, everything was explained in full as to what to expect.
Dayton Radon Mitigation Experts Provider Name Locked
kept in constant touch with me. Very professional and seemed very knowledgeable about the business but the Broad Ripple soil as well. 5 stars out of 5 !
