is very professional and pleasant to work with. He shows up right on time and quickly sets up or removes equipment. He also made a friend for life with my dog by bringing treats.

was excellent to work with, especially because the job they did on my house had a couple of surprises. When they came to bid, they were great about explaining what the install would look like on the inside of the basement and the outside of the house, and they worked with me to cleverly figure out a way to hide the fan under my back porch. This reduced both what could be seen and heard after the install was complete. They also routed the exterior vent pipe along the side of the house in a way that it would be
from view from most
.
The initial install went very smoothly, but when they came back a couple days later to check the radon levels, they were still too high. So they had to add a second suction point through the basement floor next to the plumbing stack and connect the exhaust to the initial suction pipe. This did the trick, and they did not charge anything extra for it. Very soon afterwards, I realized the fan was not running all the time like it was supposed to, so they replaced it quickly. Everything has been running well since then, and I'm very happy with their work.

Every part was excellent. After hearing a description of our home, he gave an accurate bid over the phone.
All parts of the installation went smoothly and fairly fast.
Everything was explained very well.
Post test was immediate and levels were reduced from about 7 to 0.5.
The system also works well as a dehumidifier.

Went perfect. They had to work extra hard to get the slab penetration installed in a very cramped heating/AC closet in my basement, and again to snake the 4-inch pipe through the floor/wall into the garage above. Work looks very professional, they were on time, did not mind me watching and asking questions. Very professional and pleasant to work with.

came out to do the estimate and he seemed very knowledgeable and professional, too. I got 3 bids, and theirs was not only the lowest cost but also the one I was most comfortable with. Whole job took only about 4 hours and everything was cleaned up at the end.

After contacting two other companies unsuccessfully, I called
Dayton Radon Mitigation Experts Provider Name Locked
and they came out the same day to meet with me.
The owner was very professional and thorough and assured me that the system would do the job. As promised, a well-written and detailed contract for my approval came that day and the work was done as scheduled....More /> The guy who did the work was thorough, neat and polite.
Best of all, the test that was done after the system was installed came back with radon levels that were 0.2! Not bad since 3 earlier tests put the levels at between 11 & 17. I am amazed and thoroughly satisfied.

The remediation went great. I was on vacation, so he coordinated with my contractor who was doing work. The job was finished when we got back. It was done exactly as described. Radon level went from 5.1 to 1.7. The only downside is you need to close the permit yourself after the project. But they do a great job, exactly as described.

I contacted
Dayton Radon Mitigation Experts Provider Name Locked
after reviewing his ratings on Angie's List. He came to my home the next day, recommended a system that would tie into my existing perimeter foundation drain, extend upward running parallel to a downspout and vent out above the roof line. He would paint the vent to match. He also would install caulking between the concrete floor slab and the foundation wall to prevent heated air from being drawn outside by the mitigation system. I discussed an alternate way of venting that I believed would work. He explained why my idea would not meet standards. He told me that anything less than standard was non-negotiable. If I wanted it my way, I would have to contact another installer.
He provided a written quote and a guarantee that if the independent post-test results were not below the EPA threshold, that he would perform any further work at no cost. The price was competitive, and we agreed to move forward.

and two workers arrived on time and performed the installation in about three hours. The system was tested and found to be working properly. All work was done expertly using high quality materials, and the site was left neat and clean. The system is virtually silent, despite the volume of air that the fan is moving.
A week following installation, I retested for interior radon levels. The test canister was submitted to the radon lab at UCCS, and I received the results via email the next day. The results tell the story: Pre-mitigation test results were 16.8 pCi/L, well above the EPA standard of 4 pCi/L. Post test measurement was 0.98 pCi/L.

has an excellent website (pikespeakradon.com). It contains representative pictures of his jobs and a list of radon mitigation do's and don't's. As I've around the neighborhood, I've noticed many installations that do not meet established standards for materials or vent location.
