"We changed the design several times and found the sales staff to be very accommodating. They delivered a week early against their promise. They were prompt with meeting there delivery" time and did a good job installing everything for us.

"Our experience was very good. He did an excellent job. It was $30,000 for the kitchen remodel. It's a small-owned company. It's a husband and wife and they were very personable" and they came and took care of me. They were reasonable and whenever I had any issues or whatever, they came right back.

"The first table arrived around late Oct/early November 2013 and it looked beautiful. By late November/early December we started to notice that it wasn't level. It was sagging" in the middle so much so that a crease was forming in the middle of the table along the top of the slab. We notified Welcome in early
., it took them until late
to order a new one and it took until roughly late April/early May for a new table to arrive. To give a visual, at either end of the long side (72"), you could put down a match box car and it would automatically roll into the middle of the table. It turns out, the Amish failed to put a reinforcement beam along the length of the table on the underside. Our 2nd table arrived with a 5th leg in the middle. When it was delivered, I mentioned that the middle (5th) leg wasn't touching the floor. I was told that the weight of the table and gravity would press on it and it would touch. When I suggested that seemed wrong to me, the installers somewhat mocked me and said "Well you don't want it lower than all the other legs or the table will spin around like a top." I'd suggested that simply having all 5 legs touch the floor at the same time seemed like the best outcome. By early summer, I was sitting on the floor in the next room and happened to look over at the table from an angle below and saw that now the table looked like a C (it had looked like a U with the first one that was messed up). So I got out our 6 foot level and placed it on the top of the table. On either end of the table (long side again), the level was a good 1/2" ABOVE the table surface. The middle leg (5th) now not only didn't touch the floor but if you bump it with anything, it's so far off the floor that it will just wobble noticeably. I contacted Welcome AGAIN and didn't get any good response. A month later I called again to see what was happening and nothing. In Sept I had an email exchange with the "new" customer service manager who assured me I wasn't going to have to constantly harass them to get this problem resolved and he asked me for pictures which I sent, along with a video of the middle table moving with a bump to it because I can't get close enough underneath so show the gap between floor and table leg with my camera. 6 weeks went by and still nothing happened. I contacted them again and gave them times I would and would not be available to talk by phone so of course they called when I was unavailable. I finally got ahold of them today and their amazing resolution was that I can either live with a 2nd warped table (that cost $1600!) or they can take my table away and refund my money, leaving me with an empty kitchen except for the 6 chairs we purchased specifically for that table. They feel that either one is perfectly acceptable, that I should have to go and find someone new to create another custom table for me (if I can find someone) at whatever cost that might be and however much time it would take because they simply cannot manage to build a straight table. They are 100% unwilling to re-build a warped table simply because they've given me a shoddy piece of furniture twice, so now I should have to suffer. When I mentioned that the table is 1/2" lower at either end than in the center, the OWNER said "That's not much. That's fine." as if expecting a table to be level and straight is unreasonable. I have a solid oak table, much heavier, from the 1920s that's been moved all over creation. It extends to around 8' long. Guess what? It hasn't ever warped in either direction so clearly it's possible to make a heavy, straight, flat/level table. It's just that Welcome doesn't want to fix their mistake AGAIN, as if it's my fault they can't make a table well. I'd be happy to post a picture showing how the level looks on the table but there's no place to do so on this review. I will NEVER buy another thing from Welcome and caution anyone else.

I would call the manufacturer first.

They probably have a recommended serviceman list and/or replacement parts available.

That's an interesting concept, plus now you can buy all-new furniture at your new place. You can find ratings and reviews on local real estate agents on Angie's List. I would definitely finding a few agents who are familiar with that kind of listing, or alternatviely, you may want to consider an auction house to help sell off our furniture (which you can also find on Angie's List). Check out both servcies here

1) contact local furniture store that handles and repairs recliners. Frequently, even if they do not have the exact spring, they can come up with a pair that is close enough in length and stiffness that you can swap both and get satisfactory performance.

2) google your local barcalounger dealer - they might be able to get parts or keep a few common ones like springs in stock

3) write the company - Corporate Address: 400 W. Main Street, Suite 210 Morristown, TN 37814 It went bankrupt in 2010 and was bought by HPC3 Furniture Holdings - manufacturing in china now but distributing in US.

4) Google the phrase - barcalounger parts - there are a number of companies listing parts for sale, including springs

Custom Furniture reviews in Essex Junction

These guys came recommended by other people in my building and it seemed their work was really well done. Well, apparently, we've heard the business has changed and the father no longer runs it.
Where do I start....

bed/wall unit was installed about a month after we were told it would be ready. When they did bring it in, the unit didn't come with the mattress from Diamond Mattress as we were told we would get. They said they no longer had an "arrangement" with them and can't get us the mattress. We had guest coming in town, so we rushed out to get the mattress so that it would be here when the brought the unit.
When the unit came, they didn't rout out the holes for the lids of the benches that were to serve also for storage. They said they would come back to finish that as well as finish the edges with molding where the unit meets the wall. Weeks went by without a return visit. We finally got a return call, and they said they would come back but had to charge us for another visit because the lids of the benches would have to be taken back to the factory to be routed out and finished and then brought back for installation. Like that was our fault that they didn't do that in the first place! We refused to pay for another visit and they did come in and finish the project, but with a lot of sloppy work.
Doors weren't lined up and trued, the push magnets don't line up with the doors, there are scratches in the finish with peeled off paint, and they left the working area dirty. We had to wipe down the whole thing after they left. Also, one of the push magnets is literally falling off, and others don't line up with the metal on the door correctly. They drilled holes in the wrong places and didn't bother to patch them. It's pretty bad. I would never recommend these people, and at this point I don't want them back in my home again. They did sloppy work, and they felt like they were conning us with trying to charge us for "extra" visits.

did an outstanding job and we are ecstatic with the wall units he built and installed. He delivered on everything he promised and is a perfectionist who strives to do all he can to please the customer. We were overwhelmed by his attention to detail and his quality orientation. I couldn't give a higher recommendation to anyone.

was responsive over a large period of time, from the initial request for a quote in the fall of 2013 up until delivery of the finished product. He took pictures from someone's homemade game table, and with specification changes for height and other issues, designed and adjusted the table to suit our requests. He helped us figure out what we wanted in the table, and worked through the design to overcome unforseen obstacles while still providing the table as requested.
There were some issues with punctuality. Originally on signing the contract we were told approximately 8 weeks for construction and delivery, and as 8 weeks came we were told
Essex Junction Unique Furniture Makers Provider Name Locked
hadn't even begun the project except for the legs of the table. We were also told that per the contract, the table had until the beginning of September for completion, which was approximately a month away at the time. The beginning of September came and went, and because of some scheduling issues and what was evidently overbooking,
Essex Junction Unique Furniture Makers Provider Name Locked
had not completed the project, but was close. The weather exasperated the problem because of the need to allow the stain to set correctly. In the end,
Essex Junction Unique Furniture Makers Provider Name Locked
was 20 days late according to the contract, and nearly two months late compared to the original expectations we were given.

was always professional and polite.
The end product is very nice, however, and shows the efforts of a true craftsman. The price was quite reasonable compared to similar products available from outlets like 'Geek Chic', which have a wait-list of more than one year. Overall my wife and I are quite pleased and would definitely use

I contacted
Essex Junction Unique Furniture Makers Provider Name Locked
and gave him an idea of what I wanted for the buffet. He was able to give me a quote via email based on the pictures and dimensions I gave him. I was convinced of his talent by seeing his portfolio. He is a true craftsman and has an excellent design aesthetic. After we committed to the project,
Essex Junction Unique Furniture Makers Provider Name Locked
came out to the house and measured everything and gave me some good suggestions for the buffet, which I listened to and followed when the final design was determined and approved. I think this was a 'small' job for
Essex Junction Unique Furniture Makers Provider Name Locked
, but he took great care in the installation of the buffet and doors for the converted TV cabinet. The buffet and doors are gorgeous and look original to the home. Not only is
Essex Junction Unique Furniture Makers Provider Name Locked
at the top of his trade, he is a really nice guy. He was not the most inexpensive, but I wanted a finished product that was top quality, and would stand the test of time. His work was worth every penny!

During the installation he hit a drainage pipe instead of the stud. When we discovered the problem a year later, my wall, carpet and bookshelf was completely destroyed. His insurance would not pay the complete amount to fix it and though we asked nicely for
Essex Junction Unique Furniture Makers Provider Name Locked
to make it right, he refused. Mr. Dubisar made NO effort to make right on his 7,000$ mistake. We were left holding the bag for over 4,000$ of it. This man's work may be nice, be he lacks the character and integrity anyone should look for in a builder. BEWARE! If he makes a mistake, you are on your own. If you don't believe me, I can provide pictures and third party proof from our adjuster and attorney. Please email inquiries to

The job went great. We met and discussed what our designer suggested and made some modifications to our plans. The new custom closets are awesome. They are going to be a huge sales perk when we sell our house. Also the suggestions made by
Essex Junction Unique Furniture Makers Provider Name Locked
worked well in the space we had available.
We also had a custom built-in entertainment center added in our home for all our TV components. It has shelves for components and drawers for remotes, DVD's and all the stuff we would normally fill our shelves.
Essex Junction Unique Furniture Makers Provider Name Locked
also installed new doors and trim and baseboards throughout the entire home. It really put a more transitional and modern look to our home. We are extremely pleased with the service and quality of work we received. We would highly suggest

It took maybe a month to do and it was easy to deal with them - even when I hired my own painter to have him paint. I didn't have any issues at all. They took care of the old closet debris and removed it for me.
