We provided
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
with a previous professional landscape plan done by another contractor, and he was able to further adapt the design to our needs using feedback from neighbors. He also made the design fit our budget. He was extremely knowledgeable in recommended plants and trees to meet our needs. Planning completed, we entered the installation phase and he started and finished on time. His crew was professional and experienced. His team leader was able to address concerns as they arose. They removed the lawn according to plan. The lawn tried to re-emerge later, and he came back twice after project completion to treat and stop it. They installed all new drip irrigation lines and new valves. They recommended separate irrigation zones for trees and plants, which turned out to be a really good idea. Plant and tree installation went well and he stood behind his warranty and replaced any dying plants during the first year. Gravel installation had a minor problem when the gravel pit could not provide half-inch gravel, so we were not able to cover the ground with what we ordered. Also, the original drawing we provided him was in error and not to scale, resulting in not enough gravel ordered.

took care of the shortage and personnally paid for additional gravel. Also, when gravel was delivered and dumped next to the project area I was concerned with safety. He promptly responded and set up

for visibility. When the project was complete, his crew remained on the premises until we were satisfied with their cleanup. After project completion he made visits to check on irrigation and plant survival. He continues to respond to our needs concerning this project well after completion.

The company asked me suggest good dates to schedule the work. We agreed on a date and a morning start time of 8 am. I notified the company that I would require poison ivy removal so they would be prepared. When the men didn't arrive by 10:30 am I called the phone provided by Angies List website and was told they would arrive by 1 or 1:30 pm. They did arrive at 12:30 pm and worked diligently to remove 5 big bags of vines and debris from the areas I had shown them needed work. They cleaned up carefully with a lawn blower and took the bags to the

for trash pickup. They really did a thorough job to clear the areas and recommended I use additional measures to get rid of the poison ivy. The company is based in Gaithersburg MD so I was surprised it would take jobs in
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
given the traffic here. Except for the mixup with the arrival time, I was completely satisfied with the work done in my yard. The men were surprised that I expected them in the morning so I think the scheduler and the person emailing me to set up the work schedule missed a beat.

Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
and his helper were two of the nicest guys I ever met. They were professional and very knowledgeable, They delt with the Palm fungus that had killed three trees. They did that last so they would not spread it to the live trees. They worked all day and showed up on time. I had to leave them alone to do the job and left them a check. When I came home that night I was amazed, They exceeded my expectations. Great Job guys!

Well, I'll start with the positive and go from there. In initial meetings/correspondence with
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
(Rumaldo specifically) we were quite happy. The meeting was on time and the proposal sent felt fair. We spent time picking out flowers at the nursery and came up with a plan we were all happy with.
The team who worked on the property did a nice job and the first work completed seemed to go well. We were in a good groove. However things seemed to go south from there. After the initial work was done, we still had quite a bit of things which needed to be completed. It took days (and sometimes a week) to get any response back from the team. We tried email, phone and texting and no response. Finally my wife tried blocking her phone # and that time someone answered. Hmm. Maybe just a random coincidence. My wife (very directly) explained that we were unhappy and that someone needed to come out and walk through the property with us to go through each item and see what remained to be done.
We met with Rumaldo and he assured us that everything would be taken care of. Over a series of weeks we did get more work done, but that was after much back/forth with
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
. At times we'd set an appointment, and no one showed up (causing me to be late for work). Not really acceptable. More failed communication and finally got folks to come out and do a few more things. When I say "a few more things" I mean finish the work they were contracted to do. Not additional work! To try and make us happy they planted an extra row of flowers in the back. A nice gesture, but a row of low priced flowers (1/2 of which died two weeks later) doesn't compensate for the lack of communication and follow through.
Throughout the process I was clear that I wanted to be communicated with. For example I explained that before you install lights, I'd like to have the
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
to a) pick them out or b) review a few options. Next thing I know I come home and see several lights already installed in our lawn. We had not approved them and didn't like them. They were the wrong style and color. Had someone asked us prior, we could have saved time and energy. I then found lights we liked and texted photos to make sure we got what we wanted. Again,
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
communication could have saved so much effort.
And that is really the essence of the issue. Communication. At no time did any representative from the company (i.e. Rumaldo) call to ask how things were going, or come check on the work. Each time it was at our insistence that things were not completed properly. We made our final payment with the thought that things would be completed. That was my mistake. Never should have done that. I brought up the idea of partial refund, but that was ignored.
I have a string of emails in which we tried to communicate the challenges. For example, the sprinklers weren't installed/aimed properly, so areas of the grass died because they weren't getting enough water. I tried to adjust, but it was beyond the scope of my ability and they needed to be changed (which eventually they were). And still grass is dying and water is wasted. Also, about 8 plants have died. Yes, partial responsibility is on me, the owner, to water plants. But, we paid a lot of money for a new automated sprinkler system and that system was designed and installed to specifically deliver the right amount of water for each plant. So while I tried to water and fix things, this was a design/installation issue.
The last time we had someone out to the house (mid
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
) the gentleman did some work and noted all the plants that had died. He said those would be replaced. I waited patiently for a followup from
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
. Nothing. And quite frankly I've given up. We have large brown patches in our lawn. Dead plants. And sadly a frustrated taste in our mouth.
When we started this process, our gardener offered to do the work for a much lower price. We decided to hire a larger company to handle it with the thought that it would be better organized, better managed and better quality. Now, six months after our initial meeting we are paying our weekly gardener extra money to redo the sprinkler work and eventually replace plants. Hate to spend extra money, but don't have the time and energy to continually beg a company to stand by their work.

The staff at D'Iimperio is very professional, courteous, and provide quality work. They have provided good design ideas and are always looking out for the customers best interest. I have recommended them to a number of my friends who have also been very happy with their services. They may not be the cheapest contractor, but they do some of the best work. I have used other landscape contractors that were cheaper with BAD results.

First of all, I love that this is a family owned and operated business. In this economy I prefer to support that type of business. They came out on a Thursday to give us a bid. We agreed on a price that was very reasonable. We agreed they would come back the next week, also on Thursday, to do the work. They were very prompt. I have never seen a more hard working group of men. They brought a full crew and were so conscientious about making sure we knew were they were along the way, what else needed to be done, and consulted with us if they had a question.
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
and his crew were diligent about keeping their areas clean. They were careful on our roof and boat dock. I felt they performed their duties exceptionally well and safely. They used harnesses for the large trees and used teamwork to remove the large limbs. They ended up trimming quite a few large pecan trees, removing three stumps (by hand because of surrounding plumbing), trimming back two large magnolias and hauling everything off. My sidewalks and areas were cleaner when they left then when they arrived. I will use them from this day forward and will pass their cards out to all our neighbors. This is a family I would call on again and again because they truly care about the work they do.
Thank you to the entire

Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
were great! On time, friendly, committed, hard working. What more can you ask for? My backyard looked like a Jurassic Park movie set. In 3 hours, NDG transformed the space. Wow! Some folks say it's impossible to find great providers in DC. Not true! Already setting up my next appointment.

We worked closely with
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
, the designer at Paradise, in creating a front xeriscape garden that we're really happy with. Paradise has an excellent stock of plants and materials to look at, and
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
and the owner, Christian, were responsive and flexible.
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
has a distinct design style he favors, which mostly worked for us, but they were also flexible in incorporating our own needs and taste. They also had experience working with the local utility's turf removal program, so that ran smoothly and we got our rebate without any hassle.
Paradise shone on the execution side. They were able to schedule the execution on short notice, get the permits, and carry out every step from turf and mow-
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
removal to planting and finishing. They installed new drip irrigation that has worked well, and new
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
lighting that looks great. The execution by their crew was definitely first-rate.
Since completion,
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
has come by every month or so to check up on things, and made adjustments to irrigation where needed. Most of the plants have thrived, and the few that failed for one reason or another are eligible for re-planting at their cost.
All in all, we're very pleased and will definitely consider Paradise for carrying out our next major garden project.

This experience was awful. Overall then, charged a lot of $, didn't meet their own schedules, laid weed sod rather than zoysia sod in half of my yard when they did come, and damaged my watering system in the process. By that, I don't mean that I got nutsedge laced zoysia, I got zoysia laced nutsedge. From day one, half of the lawn was fine, with a small amount of weeds, but the other half was almost pure weeds with a small amount of grass. I work two jobs so it took me a while to understand what I'd gotten. I could still see the individual squares of sod, and that some were pure weeds while others were fine.
Bristol Landscapers Provider Name Locked
claimed that the weeds must have simply "blown in" or that I was at fault for not maintaining the yard. Yeah, right. That's why half of the yard was fine, half weeds, with a clear line between the two halves. Presumably then, the wind only blows into half of my yard and I only maintain half. I demanded new sod for the defective half, but

Great work. Took a little longer than I had hoped but the project got done. Had one touch point about replacement grass where the drainage system had tore it up, but we worked it out and I am very happy. Looks great and I plan to call

for my next yard project!
