They damaged my driveway when delivering roofing materials. Dented and scratched a new HVAC system I had just installed after I asked them to cover it before throwing shingles off the roof. Workers did not check out with us when leaving our home after repairs for a walk around, this caused us to have to do some clean up. Used our bathrooms and clogged our tiolets and did not tell us this occured.

We are SO Happy with the work we had done with
Improvement!!! They by far exceeded our expectations. We have needed the extra space for a long time, but I did not have the time and I didn't think I could afford to have it done. (at least not they way I wanted it done.) I am so glad I finally decided to call and get some bids. The bid I received from
was very competitive and incredible for the quality of work that was completed!! The project was on time as planned and surprisingly smooth. We do not have a walk out to our basement so the team had to come through our house. They were extremely neat and courtesy not to disrupt the rest of the house as they were coming and going with materials and tools. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, but they were able to give me some very good suggestions that really makes my basement stand out. The crown molding and chair rail that was installed is flawless. I cannot even see the seam on the wall that runs roughly 22 ft. I wish I was able to upload photos to show-off how awesome it looks, but I don't see an option for that. We couldn't be happier with the work we had done by
Improvement! They even helped me move my new coach downstairs before they left and they were truly happy to just help! Thank YOU!!! A+++++++++++++++++++

Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
’s poor leadership, unethical business management, and lack of foresight and planning
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
to inevitable problems with our basement project. Working with
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
the owner and
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
the project manager was unpleasant and stressful. I do not recommend
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
Improvement for any task, large or small. They use bait and switch pricing tactics and are not licensed to complete much of the work that they perform.
Normally, I wouldn’t take the time to write a detailed review. However, in this case it is warranted because I read numerous reviews on Angie’s List that
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
to my decision to hire
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
Improvement. Perhaps this review will serve to warn any potential future
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
customers.
We hired
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
to paint the interior of our home and install kitchen appliances and lighting.
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
the project manager and initial “salesman” was personable and presented a reasonable price quote during our initial meeting. He also presented a folder full of work licenses and insurance documents, warning us against using companies without the proper
credentials, which provided us with a false sense of security (more on this later). At the end of our initial meeting, I mentioned that we were also interested in finishing the basement and installing an egress window at some point in the future.
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
was quick to provide a very competitive and low bid to finish the basement as well.
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
went out of his way to ensure our satisfaction of the painting project, and eagerly asked on several occasions (prior to
completion of the painting project) if we were ready to give the deposit for the basement so they could get started right away. Other than breaking one of the side rails of our bed when a single employee pushed it on the carpet away from the wall
(which
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
eventually repaired), I was generally pleased with the work completed on the painting project.
So at 90% completion I felt okay with paying the deposit for the basement.
Once the deposit was received, I was informed that it would be a one month delay to begin work on the basement, which I wasn’t happy about. When we determined that a larger egress would be required, I emailed
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
an example and asked for a schematic of the basement plan but never received one. I inquired about any additional associated cost with the larger window
and
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
quoted $500 in addition to the itemized $5000 original egress window cost, which I thought was reasonable and agreed to it.
Once work on the window began, meaning the concrete basement wall had already been cut and the hole dug, the
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
employees working on the egress window asked if we were going to install a sump pump, and highly recommended it or risk potential flooding. Since it wasn’t originally discussed, I asked
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
about the additional cost and was quoted $600, which again seemed reasonable, so I said yes to the sump pump. The following day, the
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
owner “
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
” looked at the project and told my wife that he would need an additional $1400 (on top of the $500 quote and $600 sump pump quote), bringing the additional cost to $2500 ($7500 total) in order to continue with the egress window, stating that the project manager “
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
” had not given a good estimate of the cost. Surprised at the unexpected turn of events, my wife called me at work to explain the new and increased pricing plan. So I called
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
to see about the situation.
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
the owner was clearly agitated about the project and proceeded to lecture me about how the project was of a much larger scale than originally stated.
At this point of the phone call I became frustrated because it felt like we were being swindled into paying more, but not getting
anything more. I informed
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
the owner that we did not change the scale of the project at any point without asking
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
the project manager for any additional associated costs. As if he didn’t hear me,
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
went on to state that there was a tree near the egress window and that it would take a considerable amount of labor to cut through the roots. I told him that I did not plant the tree after the initial quote, nor at any time during the one month delay – the tree had always been there and should not be used as a reason to charge more money. Again, agitated,
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
stated that he simply could not continue any work without the additional $2500. Keep in mind that the gaping hole to the egress window had already been cut, so I didn’t have much recourse but to pay the money so
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
would continue.
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
the owner also stated that he would need the full $7500 in order to purchase future materials for finishing the basement.
Once the check cleared,
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
the project manager wrote me an email (didn’t bother to call) stating that
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
would not continue work on the basement. So, we were left high and dry with a very expensive $7500 egress window.
I called
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
the project manager to inquire about having the window inspected by Prince
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
County. He told us to have it inspected with the follow-on company that we would need to hire to finish the basement. Dissatisfied with
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
’s dubious suggestion, we arranged with Prince
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
County ourselves for the final inspection and gave
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
the opportunity to have a representative on site. The County Inspector noted discrepancies on his report which resulted in
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
storming out of the meeting as he stated that we could
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
if we wanted. I would not have contacted
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
again, but since
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
took two gas cans and a 22’ extension ladder from our property when working on the
egress window, I asked
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
to return the items, which they eventually did.
Through various conversations when contacting Prince
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
County about what steps to take after
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
walked off the job, we discovered that
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
wasn’t licensed to perform the work they completed, to include: installation of recessed lights, installation of new light fixtures (where none existed), installation of new range hood and exhaust to outside (where none existed), installation of microwave electrical outlet, installation of new gas line to cooktop, and installation of the egress window sump pump.
If
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
even bothers with a rebuttal, they will likely claim that we kept changing “the plan”, which is false. We asked
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
on numerous occasions to provide a professional schematic, but were constantly told that the
“details” would be worked out later. This should have served as a warning that
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
either couldn’t or didn’t want to provide a finished plan. Additionally we later discovered that PICTURE PERFECT never pulled a permit to finish the basement, which leads us to question whether they ever intended to honor the contract.

This is our second experience with Mr.
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
and it went as well as the first.
After calling him to explain the scope of the job (replacing a 30-year-old kitchen faucet), he agreed to do the work and said he could perform the job the same day. According to my daughter-in-law, Mr.
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
arrived when he said he would and got right to work.
He not only replaced the faucet, but also cut a hole so he could install the optional sprayer for the faucet.
In the end, the work was performed flawlessly, at a reasonable price, and in a very short amount of time. We'll keep using him for our
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
needs in the future.

Except for an un-communicated cost-overrun within the agreed contract time-frame, the trim work is of excellent quality; the drywall work I'd give a B+, but still better than I could do myself. Overall, recommended.

They did great.
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
showed up on time. He called back to his office to get the cost of replacing the motors. He didn't flinch when he saw the stuff all over our garage. He really worked hard and did an excellent job. When it is time to replace the doors we give them a call.

We hired two men for two days. When my husband made the appointment he was assured that the men would be quite experienced in working on decks. Our deck is outside the kitchen door with the basement walkout underneath.
My husband took leave from work the first day and things seemed ok. He worked with the two men and they worked well from 8 AM to 4 PM. They installed flashing over the
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
board. Drilled holes in the railing support posts and started bolting them on to the deck structure.
The second day, I took leave. They arrived at 8 AM as planned. They finished tightening the bolts and making sure they were plum. One of them worked on the three support beams downstairs, and one worked on the railings upstairs. There seemed to be a lot of standing around most of the day and at 4:30 one was called away for another emergency job. The other worker stayed and my husband returned from work and he helped get the new support posts in their proper place (apparently they had been placed it in the wrong place and needed to be moved). By this time it was 7:30 and one side of the safety rails still needed building and the top of the safety rail needed cutting and placement. A promise was made to come back the next day and finish it within 3 hours. I took off work for this unscheduled morning to allow access.
The third day the worker arrived at 8:00 and was reworking all the safety rail post bolt holes, as well as taking lots of pictures of his work. He left again at 11:30 and said he would be back at 5:00. My husband arrived after work at 5:00 and started finishing the underside of the deck to meet the county code requirements and then he started finishing the rails as well as a few other unfinished items before the worker arrived at 6:30 and cut the final few boards to finish the safety rails. If my husband had not helped with most of the work it
Woodbridge Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
not have finished as required for final county inspection.

I got a letter before the job stating when they would come and what they would do. The provider showed up right on time and completed the job in the promised two hour window. Great service and very professional. We will use them again.
