I had used an Angie's List Big Deal which warned there might be additional charges. I had hoped to avoid these, but the extra work was required, and considering what the piano had been through, understandable. I am not musical enough to claim the job was particularly well done, but I know Mr.
Williamsburg Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
's work from a highly skilled pianist who trusted and hired him for many years.

My whole experience with
Williamsburg Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
from start to finish was a breeze. I purchased an Angie's List big deal for a piano tuning, and was promptly contact by the office to schedule a time for service. They were very friendly and accommodating of my schedule.
Williamsburg Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
arrived on time and took the time to familiarize himself with my piano, then gave great info about the condition of the piano and his recommendations. I chose to add a pitch raise and felt treatment to my original tuning package and was very pleased with the results.

Mr.
Williamsburg Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
was prompt, professional, and very personable. He did an excellent job. I will definitely use him again. I am on his schedule to call again in about a year to have the tuning done again. I don't remember the exact amount but in my case is was a bit higher since it was the first time in many years. The next yearly tunings will be less and routine. The price was very reasonable. I am very satisified and recommend him highly.

.
Williamsburg Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
was great. She did a very nice job on my piano and was friendly and professional. My piano hadn't been tuned in over 10 years, so when I spoke with
Williamsburg Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
on the phone she told me it would first need a pitch raise and then a tuning about 3 months later. After finishing her work, she told me that it was in good enough shape that I probably wouldn't need the tuning for 7 months or so. How refreshing to have a provider not recommend additional services at the earliest possible time! She even offered to give me a reminder call down the road.

Williamsburg Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
responded very quickly and tuned my piano after a move to
Florida. The piano also needed a pin for a bent hinge and he repaired
both the hinge and also happened to have a pin that fit. The piano also
needed cleaning which he did for an additional $50. He did a very good
job and I was very pleased. He also said he might be available to play
the piano at our Christmas party!

Everything was excellent, from scheduling to the appointment time. Everyone was professional and friendly.
They answered all my questions and explained everything they did and what to do next.
I will be using them again the next time I tune my piano, or any other piano work.

In moving the piano out of my in-laws house, the recently refinished piano was damaged heavily on one side and scratched up on the other. Also, they damaged the brickwork around the cellar door in their efforts to get the piano out of the basement. As far as fixing the piano,
Williamsburg Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
came out and fixed the heavily damaged part pretty well but claimed the other scratches weren't from the move and didn't try to fix them as well. It was difficult to reach him and he apparently had truck issues that caused delays in his schedule. That part I can understand but the lack of communication was frustrating. After multiple phone calls,
Williamsburg Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
finally sent his helper out to fix the brickwork at the house, telling me that he was experienced in this and would do a good job. He did a horrible, horrible job. When I showed the pictures of the work to
Williamsburg Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
, he admitted that the work was poor. He went out to fix the bricks himself eventually. His work was better but it still is obvious that work was done on the bricks. They aren't straight, the mortar is all over the place and it generally looks sloppy. It is going to cost more than we paid to move the piano to fix the mess that was left.

My piano hadn't been tuned in years, so it needed a couple of tunings to get up to pitch. Ed came out in April for the first tuning and said he would call in 3-4 months for the next. Sure enough, I received a call from him about 4 months later. I can't say enough about
Williamsburg Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
professionalism and skill. The piano sounds wonderful, he is a master of his trade! He was very accommodating to my schedule and punctual. I will be calling Ed again for periodic maintenance of my piano. Would recommend him for any piano needs!
