came out and said that my washer needed to be replaced and would send the report to Old Republic within 24 hours. However, he never sent" the report and would not return any calls. He took my money and vanished! Wouldn't recommend at all!

"Nerve blocks did not work and in fact made my pain worse. Radio Frequency Ablation was extremely painful, no sedation offered beforehand. Doctor does NOT use visual" imagery, procedure is done by trial and error, inject and hope for the best, this was described to me by a staff member. There are other Pain Management offices in the area that use visual imagery and pinpoint the exact problem before any procedure is done.

Anyone who has undergone a surgical procedure is likely familiar with anesthesiologists. During surgery, these specialists are responsible for administering anesthesia, including pain blockers and sedation.

Dr. Mark Norling administers anesthesia to patient to block any memory of pain during surgery. He also monitors patients' breathing, heart rate, blood pressure and other vital signs. (Photo by Tim Newman)

Most patients who have surgery don't choose their anesthesiologist, but these doctors and other anesthesia providers play a vital role during surgery.

If you are conscious, it's important to be honest with your anesthesiologist and share certain aspects of your medical history to avoid a bad reaction from the anesthesia. (Photo courtesy of the American Society of Anesthesiologists)

If you need surgery, you will probably get anesthesia to put you to sleep. Make sure to ask your anesthesia provider these questions for a successful surgery.

While anesthesia is safe, ask a health care provider about their training and experience. Also ask who will monitor your vital signs during the procedure.

Anesthesiology reviews in Williamsburg

The doctor went over all my medications to ensure no complications and we discussed options to pain medication. This doctor is constantly seeking alternatives to pain medication if possible as I would prefer not taking pain medication of any kind. I am not made to feel like just a dollar bill with this doctor. I leave with the impression that they actually care about relieving my pain in alternative ways.

Epidural given with sedation. Very painful been in pain 2 weeks . Day after same pain. Wrote script for tremadal but I can't fill it until next week. Because I've been taking it this last month. Instead of saying your taking a lot try this.( and it did not have to be a narcotic, although I had a neg drug test in his office 4 weeks ago, I don't drink, or smoke and haven't taken any other narcotic in 3 months). He is a horrible pain management Dr and should stick to anesthesia, although a nurse practitioner would do a better job.

The ENT doctor (Dr.

) was pleasant and the audiologist (whose name I cannot recall) was also pleasant. Both explained the process we would undergo and were professional. The audiologist was clearly very skilled when it came to doing hearing evals on sub-2 year olds because she was very patient and relatable for my 22 month old. This is the reason for the 5 "A" ratings I gave. However, the office staff was grumpy and despite the 30 minutes I spent on the phone with them to schedule the visit, still had my daughter's birthday wrong in their paperwork. This is the reason for the "c" rating on staff friendliness. It took over 4 weeks to get an appointment, which seemed excessive to me (maybe I'm clueless?) so that's why I graded them a "c" for availability. Punctuality was unfortunately what you'd expect for a doctor's office, we waited about 15-20 minutes for our visit to start, hence the "B" on punctuality.

Poorly run office with doctor and nurse practitioner that are either real good or don't care. Nurse practitioner has a big attitude problem and likes to brag about his house. Very unprofessional. Then they complain my insurance does not pay them enough. Not my problem! You signed the contract!! Just a big waste of time and money for getting a prescription. I will never go back.

If there was a Grade higher than an "A" I would have given it. My wife had sinus surgery and Dr

was the anesthetist. He was very caring, informative and attentive to her every need. He was very gentle with her and her throat wasn't sore after the procedure. I would recommend him in a heart beat. I really cant say enough good things about this Dr. He`s really a credit to his Profession. I`ve had anesthesia in the past, It took me several days to get over it and my throat hurt for several weeks. Thanks Dr

I arrived early as requested. Filled out the paperwork. Was called into office just as I finished paperwork. Good staff to patient history. Good doctor with good "bedside manner" put me at ease. Returning in six months for check-up.

Fantastic: the stomach block enabled me to walk around easily that afternoon at surgery; I could climb stairs etc. with no pain. I took Tylenol as a precaution but the block really did not wear off until noon the next day. I had read walking and climbing stairs aids in recovery (as opposed to lying around and getting stiff, etc.) and the excellent job Dr.

did allowed me to move around easily with no or little pain.

I never actually got to make an appointment. On my first telephone call, the receptionist, a very rude and hostile woman, told me I had to be referred by a doctor or physical therapist. So I asked my PT to write up a referral and his receptionist faxed it over. Once I had confirmed that this had been done, I made my second call. This time the rude and hostile receptionist told me that she couldn't find the fax, so that means it was never sent. No, it was sent - I was present when it was faxed over. This unpleasant little creature simply couldn't be bothered to look for it.
I noticed the last review of this practice was remarkably similar to mine - this really ought to be telling these doctors something about the quality of their staff. Or perhaps they already know and just don't care...
