Business Description: Although our company DMC HandyMan Services was established in early 2006, President & CEO, David Chambers, has worked in his field for over 20 years. Dave worked as a general contract maintenance technician for many years as his trade of excellence, along with several hobbies and skills of choice streching as far as being an expert in the culinary arts field. Realizing after all of his hard, dedicated, and loyal years as a Handy Man that he had the knowledge, charisma, skill, education, and ability to teach all of his learnings; Dave wanted to start his own legacy. A road that would seem to be long, time consuming, difficult, and straining is what DMC started up against. With the economy in bad shape, and consumers struggling to even keep the slightest repairs under control; moreover, the cost of supplies vs the demand of work being off set, the project would be all but easy. Where competitors in the general area were charging customers 3 times the price they were a decade ago, and labor prices rising is where DMC believes the market has failed its objective. Dave's philosophy is pretty simple. "Don't do it for the money" Here is what David Chambers had to say about his companies philosophy: "There are two ways to succeed in this industry. Either helping the customer or helping yourself. DMC is strictly driven by our consumers, and giving back to the community which gives to us is.
