Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Reviews

"This work involved a series of renovations on 25 year old bathrooms in a sequence that would allow a functioning bathroom to be available throughout the renovation of the 3 bathrooms. All the vanities, fixtures and tile flooring were removed and replaced. The contractor worked well with us to evaluate options and came up with ideas that improved the price and/or the final look. An internal wall had to be moved to expand the shower in the master bath to make it what we wanted. Everything looks and works well (now months later).

"We had a half bathroom installed in our basement and are very happy with the work.
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was the person who was actually here on the day to day and really liked him. Had no issue leaving him in house on his own or giving him a key. He had a very high standard of work and as we weren’t in a rush we were happy for him to take a bit more time to get it right.

They initially said it would be 1.5 weeks and it was probably a little over 2 to get the job done, but the inspector did have some unexpected changes he wanted for our breaker box (he wanted a new breaker put in whereas
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
had planned on running off the existing breaker).

There were a couple little clean up items that they didn’t have to do on the other side of the newly constructed walls that
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was happy to help with and did not charge for (hooked up a second light and wired it to the plug on the otherside of the utility area & cut/hung the peg board we’d taken off one of the walls the bathroom now used).

The quote Selwa provided for the vendors was a little off as it didn’t include tax or delivery but that was the only place the costs escalated outside of the change from the inspector I previously mentioned.

The only moderately black
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was the vendor for the fixtures (
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
), the base for the pedestal sink had to be sent back twice because it had a twist in it, and the towel ring took almost 3 months to arrive because it was on back order.

Given the price and quality of work I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them.

"Everything went well. Quick response when we requested estimate. Appointment scheduled and project manager was thorough and efficient with the estimate. We liked the estimate and then requested they bring the mobile showroom so we could select our materials. As we were wanting a very basic upgrade ("pull and replace") for all 3 bathrooms and the kitchen it was nice to be able to choose from the pre-set packages and then make minor adjustments. For example, for one bathroom we wanted a little more decorative vanity and tile so we were able to work with the samples in the showroom to put together a different combination. This will change the base price but project manager is very good at working to stay in your budget. For the kitchen we were directed to contact a local kitchen/cabinet company who routinely works with TPT's. We did have to go there to select our cabinets but it was not a problem. We then paid for the cabinets separately. (Approximate cost of service in this review does not include the cost of the cabinets). The other option is to find your own cabinet place and TPT will work with them to coordinate. Most, if not all of the materials came from Home Depot and were included in the estimate. If you prefer to go out and find your own tile and toilets, vanities, etc then the price will be lower.
Each bathroom renovation was scheduled to take 1 week and the kitchen about 10 days. They were able to work on 2 bathrooms at a time and then ended up starting the kitchen while the last bathroom was being renovated. This worked well for us as total renovation time was just about a month and was completed on time. (All the other companies we consulted gave us a minimum of 6 weeks completion estimate.)
As with any renovation there are always unexpected expenses. In our case there were 2 minor issues in 2 of the bathrooms. But the team was very good at explaining the issue and the solution and giving us an accurate estimate of the additional cost before going any further. In both cases the possibility of the particular issue had been discussed during the estimate so it was not so unexpected. The work crews were excellent. I cannot say enough about how professional they were. They obviously knew what they were doing and were very patient at explaining things to me and keeping me in the loop with all stages of the project. This was very important to me because I did not see the project manager as much as I expected. (This was not the same project manager we met during the estimate phase which was disappointing). The PM did respond to my messages and he did keep in touch with his crew leaders but I guess I expected to see him a little more often than the handful of times he stopped by after the initial walkthrough at the beginning of the project start. However, his trust in his crew leaders is well-deserved and overall the project went very smoothly and within budget.

"Overall it went very well. It started with the sales process.
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was our sales person and what we liked about
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was he was very honest. He was also very hard working - he would turn around design changes instantly and would always call back and e-mail back when we had questions. We felt very comfortable with
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
because he was also transparent. He would do all of the design work (often multiple versions) up front without requiring us to commit to their firm to do this design work. We were able to see what we were getting without writing a check based on a concept. We interviewed five firms for the first project along with
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and none of the other firms had this as an option. After we agreed on a design principle,
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
would draft up the pricing model.
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is not the least expensive, but we felt that they charged us a fair amount. 2 of the firms came in lower, but we did not trust their quote. 2 other firms came in higher - one of them much higher - which made us feel like they were trying to take advantage of our inexperience with pricing out these jobs.
Once we agreed to do the work, the production process started.
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
would help us with design decisions along they way often meeting us at various locations to review our choices.
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was always hesitant to say which one he liked best (I am sure he was burned by this before), but more importantly, he was very vocal when he thought we were making a bad choice - - either on quality of product, color, brand, etc. This was very much appreciated.
After the design choices were made, the project started when they had time in their production schedule.
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
seems to be doing quite well - so for us this was a 2-3 month wait. The onsite team was great. My wife and two young daughters were home with the team during much of the work and never had a concern. They were all polite, hard working and considerate. They kept us well informed and up to date on any issues. They also offered suggestions as they went along which helped us improve our design during the build process. The project finished pretty much on schedule and on-budget. We made changes which of course created change orders (and more money), but these were all discussed and agreed to well in advance and at our initiation. There were times where
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
could of nickel and dimed us for small changes, but they did not. When the project finished, we created a punch list which they wrapped up in a timely manner and even though over the past few years we were out of warranty, they often would respond to our e-mails and just fix the problem. For example, we noticed this winter it was cold in our floor near the addition. We had not properly closed the vents (our issue) in the crawl space. They found that they were frozen shut and replaced them free of charge. This was our issue. They also realized that the space was not as insulated as it could of been (which was probably an oversight on their part) and took care of that free of charge.
The only constructive criticism is that we wanted to be communicated too more proactively from their project manager. The production lead who was onsite every day was great, but their assigned project manager was not as proactive as we had wanted to give us an update on status and schedule. We eventually met with them on a weekly basis and this seemed to work for us - but it would of been nice to have had this from the beginning.
We have recommended
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
to several others (not all of them went with
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, but many did). We have also used
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
on multiple projects in our house. This should be a great indication of the value that we see in
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
. I will say that whenselecting a contractor for any project of size - it should be built on a mutual respect and trust. We found that with

"GBK did outstanding work and provided reliable, professional service for our bathroom renovation project in November 2013. After visiting several remodeling businesses (including Reico Bath), my wife and I decided to go with GBK for remodelling the master bathroom (about 6x8 feet) in our townhouse. Due to shoddy work by a different contractor, our bathroom had water damage due to a misinstalled shower door.

Swipe (

@gbkremodeling.com) was helpful in providing general advice about bathroom renovations without any pressure. I liked the fact that the GBK showroom was not overwhelming. GBK is great for folks who do not mind paying a little more for a high quality contractor (instead of negotiating cut-rate fees with non-specialists), but prefer to avoid the "high-end" designs and exhorbitant rates charged by Reico Bath for custom projects.
I would recommend going to a tile shop (e.g., Mosaic Tile) and look at tile patterns and designs to get ideas BEFORE you come to GBK. We found it helpful to pick a general color and tile pattern before obtaining an estimate. Once we selected a tile color and design (white subway tile for the shower interior; porcelain white floor tile that resembled marble),
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and the president of GBK came to our house to do an initial assessment and develop a cost estimate. We asked for a second cost estimate (about $4,000 cheaper) after deciding to keep our double sink and vanity unit. GBK was flexible in adapting to our change requests.
GBK prefers an initial deposit of 40% of the total cost to start the project, with milestone payments of 30% each upon completion of the shower tiles, and the entire bathroom. They asked us to select faucet / light fixtures and a paint color for the wall. GBK has a preferred list of products (e.g,

) where they get favorable rates from
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
. Also, they work closely with Mosaic Tile (in
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked

The quality of contractors was superb.
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
(lead foreman) and
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked

Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked

way to our questions during the project. I would strongly recommend GBK as a place to consider for a bath remodeling project!

"Very happy with the service and process with
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
. Process was smooth and professional. As with any construction project, there were some surprises once the walls were opened up, however the team from
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
handled everything well and their level of customer service exceeded all previous contractors we have worked with over the years. They can be a bit slow to respond at times due to their volume of work on any given day, but this is a far cry from the unresponsiveness I have experiences with other contractors who seemed to actively ignore calls and emails.
I will definitely be using them for my next bathroom remodel later this year and happily recommend them to others looking fto do the same.

and his sales guy came to give an estimate on a kitchen renovation. i was trying to get it done in a short timeframe so that may have been the reason they could not do the job but i never got estimates or follow up.
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
seemed to understand what i wanted and was comfortable doing most things i asked for. was willing to take the time to discuss lots of options. Very professional in person, which is why i was surprised at no follow up.

"It was great working with
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
on the bathroom. He is very responsive and takes great pride in his work.. He promptly responded to my request for an estimate and answered all my questions about the bathroom remodel. His quote was very fair and I appreciated his input on remodel options. He suggested I send him some pictures of bathrooms that I liked to give him a better feel for what I was looking for. He helped narrow down the tile choices based on the pictures I sent him. He made the process as
Vienna Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and straightforward as possible and remodeled the bathroom in 5 days. It was as painless as a bathroom remodel could be!
