Scheduling was a bit of a bear, but that was weather related, all in all though the experience was great. Solid sales, fantastic installation and an awe inspiring guarantee. These guys are rock stars,

The french door that was installed years ago by LF didn't fit the opening. The company
installed the door anyway, patching around it (badly).. The plaster eventually cracked all
the way around.
Castle measured, manufactured and installed a sliding door that actually fit the original opening,
doing away with the lousy patch job that LF had done. The quality of the door, the workmanship, the
service and communication, all combined to rate a AAA+ rating in my book.

We had a great experience working with Firehouse to replace our windows and sliding doors. Their salesperson
Sterling Door Installers Provider Name Locked
was excellent, very friendly and helpful and extremely responsive, I don't think I waited longer than a couple of hours on any response to any of my many e-mails (I had lots of questions, some very technical), even on weekends. We had narrowed our choices down to 2 companies who were very well recommended on Angie's List, and
Sterling Door Installers Provider Name Locked
was the tie breaker.
Firehouse was also very price competitive. We had 4 companies come in and give us estimates and Firehouse was very well priced for the windows we picked out, not the absolute lowest, but pretty close.
Installation went very well, the installers were prompt, courteous and quick. All windows and sliding doors in our 3 story townhouse were replaced same day. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up, they left our house cleaner than it was when they arrived.
Windows are beautiful, they are a joy to both look at and open. We replaced our kitchen sliding door with a new unit with blinds within the glass, which is an excellent feature, well worth the extra $ we splurged to be able to not have to cover up the beautiful view with vertical blinds etc.
We did have a couple of small issues, but the management at Firehouse was terrific to work with and they came up with a great solution to one pesky problem, and now our windows are perfect. The entire experience was great, and everyone we worked with was friendly, responsive and courteous. I will absolutely be recommending Firehouse to all of our friends and neighbors.

Excellent performance every time that they have done work for us. The staff always shows up on time, the job is always done right, never a problem.

Last week a few pieces of siding that they installed ten years ago blew off our house in a storm. I noticed the problem at about 6PM and called the technician. He was at our house at 9AM the next morning. Not only did he fix the siding, but he also fixed another piece of trim that my son dinged with the car. No charge!

These people really understand customer service!

The job was completed in two visits, one by a craftsman and one by an electrician. The craftsman completed 3 small projects in about 2 hours. He was very professional and the quality of the finished work was excellent. The electrician had more extensive work to do. He completed 3 projects in about 6 hours. His work was also very professional and high-quality. I was impressed that he was concerned about details like light fixture placement so as to provide maximum light coverage while reducing shadows, as well as fixture spacing for aesthetics. The microwave installation required calling a craftsman to cut a larger opening in the wall tile. This was a last minute need and I was impressed that they were able to get the craftsman out to my house that same day, instead of having to reschedule for another day.

They were very nice and did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. This is the second time I've hired them for work and both times we were very satisfied with them.

Fireside showed up as scheduled with a crew of about 12 men. They immediately began removing the windows and doors with the crew divided into several crews working on different windows or doors. Some wood damage was discovered during the removal of one patio door but it was replaced with new wood under the allowance contained in the contract so there was no additional cost to us. Extra work was required for two windows- one being a large picture window that was installed by replacing two sliders on the front of the house and the other was the replacement of a slider in the kitchen with the large garden bay window. Those modifications were done very professionally and look great, making those two rooms much brighter.

All of the windows and doors seal much tighter than the old units, making the house much quieter. We hear very little street noise with these new units. The trim coil (aluminum flashing) around the new doors and windows was very well shaped and installed. The crew took a lot of care to caulk and seal around all the units with a silcone sealant. We have noticed less heat gain from the sun, probably due to the special coating on the windows that reflects the heat back before it passes through the glass. I expect we will notice even more of a difference in the winter due to reduced drafts and better thermal efficiency.

We did not replace the side door on our semi-detached garage on our garage at this time. We like to have all of our entrance doors keyed alike so we were concerned that we would now need to carry multiple keys. Firehouse suggested we get another lock for our garage door made by the same manufacturer as the locks they would be installing and then advise them of the key code for that lock. They then ordered all of the other locks with same key code so we can now open all of the doors using a single key.

We did subsequently experience a small glitch in that some of the weather stripping on a couple of windows would not seal properly. We called Firehouse and asked if they could replace the weather stripping. They immediately sent
Sterling Door Installers Provider Name Locked
, our project manager, to fix the problem. Instead of just replacing the weather stripping they replaced the entire sash unit with new units. That says a lot about the warranty provided by Firehouse and the window manufacturer ,

Windows. I really like the fact that Firehouse has all their own work crews and does not subcontract the work to others. They are also large enough that they do all their own service and repair work.

All in all, our experience with
Sterling Door Installers Provider Name Locked
Doors was excellent.
Sterling Door Installers Provider Name Locked
, their saleman, made several suggestions as we planned the purchase that saved us money and actually turned out very nicely, such as replacing the two separate sliders on the front of our house with a single larger triple window that had a large picture window in the center with smaller sliders on each side. The crew worked steadily throughout the day and carefully cleaned everything up as the went along. They promised the work would all be done in one day but we had our doubts due to the number of units involved. However, they delivered as promised finishing the work about 8:00 pm that evening. I would not hesitate to recommend Firehouse to anyone looking for windows and doors. We will probably be replacing our roof sometime in the next few years and they will probably get the job that too based on their excellent performance on this job.

We were initially happy with some of the work that they did. When they installed the windows there was flashing that had to be put around the outside of the window. They did a fairly poor job with that. They left gaps between the sidings on the window
