. Was promised delivery within two weeks. Called when got close and was told a mistake was made that it would be more like 6 weeks. Then after all of that They delivered the furniture damaged 4 times. This was over a few months. I was already being billed form them when I did not have proper furniture. They then sent a repair person out who said at least the last time it looked like the delivery people mishandled the furinture by looking at the damage. Was also told furinture was all wood which was found to be untrue also. I tried to speak to

calls the delivery and installation free- this should have been my first clue of how well this experience was going to go (you really do get what you pay for). The night before delivery we received an automated phone call telling us the window of time to be at home so the delivery can occur. That morning the delivery guy (the only silver lining to this whole fiasco was the delivery guys were really nice) called to confirm we would be home. Later that day, the window of delivery time came and went. The truck arrived approximately 1 hour later than the scheduled window of time. Really nice, clean, respectful delivery guys removed our old washer and dryer and put them exactly where I indicated in our driveway. They unpacked the new washer and dryer (being careful not to tear up the boxes- they gave those to my thrilled toddlers!). So far delivery is going well except being a little behind schedule. And then- the cord attached to the dryer would not reach the plug in the wall. This concern had been brought up at the store- these units were purchased because they are stackable, but the plug is very near the floor. We were assured this would not be a problem because the delivery truck carries different lengths of cord for these situations. We were informed the delivery could not be completed because there were no other cords in the truck. The delivery guys asked us to sign a document stating the delivery could not be completed and we, the homeowners, would complete the install. The delivery guys explained they were running behind and the install could go no further at that time. They suggested we could obtain an appropriate length cord (they even went so far as to try and show me how to take off the back of the dryer and indicated where the new cords would need attached!!!) or we could have an electrician come out and move the location of the wall outlet. This is not at all what we had been told at the store so we called customer service. We were told to go to the local

and they would give us the appropriate length of cord and the install would be completed once we had the cord and called in to reschedule the install. I asked to go ahead and have the install scheduled and I would go to

to confirm they had the part and was informed they do not carry the length we needed. I called customer service- I was told our local Kmart had the part. I called Kmart- no they did not carry the part. I called customer service- they could send us that part but it would be after the weekend before the part would arrive and that would be after the scheduled install. Install would have to be rescheduled. We called a local electrician who ordered the cord for us overnight. The night before the scheduled install we did not get the automated phone call telling us the window of time the installation was to occur. At 10pm we called customer service. They did not have us listed for an installation the next day- would we like to schedule an installation for the next week? No. Our electrician completed the install.

From the first contact customer service was slow to respond and rude when they bothered to call back. Should have realized the bad customer service they had would translate to even worse service in the future. We decided to go with

If they had came to the site and measured maybe our experience would have been better. This company could care less about providing a great customer experience . It's a shame because all their furniture, kitchens, etc are really designed well.

We are furnishing a second home in the Durango area. We are several hundred miles away, and this is not always easy. We especially needed a bed to be delivered within a day or two of our arrival so that we could at least sleep comfortably in the house while doing other work on it.

did a fabulous job in every way. It is not always easy to buy a mattress on-line or over the phone. They provided me with enough information so that I narrow down the choices and could do some shopping/testing in my own area. Once we decided what we wanted, the ordering and arrangements could not have gone more smoothly. Their delivery guys were very friendly, knowledgeable and competent.

has even lent us a temporary "Hollywood" frame to use while we are waiting for our full bedframe to be delivered in a few months. I like dealing with local, family-owned businesses, even if it means paying a little more. However, in this case, their price was surprisingly competitive with the "big box" stores and national chains. I did not mind paying a few dollars extra for the level of service and personal attention.

I had already done my homework before I went to the store, so I already knew exactly which mattresses I was interested in. The salesman was competent and attentive. I felt the price was reasonable, as there was a current sale and I also negotiated some freebies in place of gift cards. So my experience in

I was flexible on that date except for a one hour time period when I had a previous appointment that I could not reschedule. The delivery scheduler refused to even try to work with me on that, refused to even put a note in my file regarding this time. I was told to wait until I was contacted the day before delivery and that perhaps something could be done then. At 3:00 pm the day before, I finally called

(This seems more than a coincidence.) I was informed that no rearrangement was possible. The only recourse was to wait until the delivery men called to say that they were enroute and see if I could change the time with them. If not, I would have to reschedule. (Since there was a two- hour window, this guaranteed that I had to at least be tied to a phone for half of the day.) Luckily, the delivery men were much more cooperative than the scheduler, and we worked something out. But I give

This does seem odd, since the average consumer is not going to be loading his or her furniture purchase into their own vehicle and carting it home. Delivery is an integral part of the furniture business. The only choices for whether I would use this provider in the future are yes or no, but in my case it would be "maybe." If I were buying a mattress, maybe so, but for furniture I think I will go elsewhere! I recommend

We had courteous and polite treatment from the sales representative with an absence of any pressure or hard sales tactics. They carefully explained the various options and gave advice on the testing for comfort. We selected a mattress and it was delivered on the day and time scheduled. The mattress is very satisfactory and a big improvement over the previous mattress.

A few minutes later the owner clled me and told me that she was in Florida with her husband who was having a kidney transplant and that she was payong her delivery people over time to get the mattress to me. I am reallu sorry that her husband is sick and I have prayed for him, but to use him as an excuse for poor service and to ask your employees to use their money for refunds is just inexcusable. the owner schuled the delivery and had she told me it was fault, I would have been fine with it. But when she used her sick husband as her excuse, that let me know, she had no intention of admittng they were wrong. Thank you,

. Both of them were patient and informative. It took us a long time to decide, we probably spent hours there, and who knows if they thought we were ever going to buy something in the end. There was no pressure. They have an everyday low-price type of policy, which we respect, but note that they do throw in some goodies like accessories or free gifts for larger purchases, so why not ask. By contrast, we experienced a lot of haggling when buying from Mattress Firm in the past. They also have a comfort guarantee, so if you don't like the mattress then they'll actually take it back within 30 days (90 for Tempurpedic), minus a reasonable amount for return pick-up. We like stores that stand behind their products. Our three-year-old was with us each time, and they let him bounce on the beds, climb the bunk beds, and play with their stuffed animals. Overall, a great retail experience.
