We purchased a 2007 car from
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
. They tried sneeking in a $3500. extended warranty in the contract which they never mentioned. We declined the $3500. warranty. 12 days after purchased, the car needed $2000. work done on it. They refused to do "ANYTHING" about this, they told us "We offered you a $3500. warranty & you turned it down so you are on your own"....
They are rude, unprofessional, & they lie to your face.
Stay away from these typical used car salesman, no ethics at all.

Have to admit, this is a solid dealership when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. Make sure you deal with
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
and Guy though -- they will work to get you the deal that you want/need. Let's face it, you are going to go through a haggling process when purchasing a vehicle. They are going to give you a price, you have yours, and you will ultimately meet somewhere in the middle. But the difference here? There was absolutely NO PRESSURE. I was expecting, "come on, sign the paperwork" or "you'd better not let this deal go" comments during the process, but that didn't happen. Actually, I was the one saying those comments to myself and not
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
! In addition, they have quality vehicles at a decent price. Overall, a fantastic buying experience. Try them out -- they will work with you and your trade, unlike other dealerships on the island.

Oh my, where do I start? After contacting the internet department for help (which wasn't bad), I decided to go and see what they had on their lot, in addition to what I had seen online. After being greeted by a few different people, they finally figured out that
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
(the internet manager) wasn't in. No big deal - so they handed me off to another salesman. We found another truck I liked, but it certainly wasn't exactly what I was looking for. But that's ok, no test drive because we were in a hurry and said that we would return the following morning. The salesman tried to keep us on the lot by paying for our movie tickets for the following evening -- sorry, already had a date planned. Upon return the following morning, we were quickly greeted by TJ...and not
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
. He's a very nice guy and went over and above to let us see who was on their lots. It's not going too bad so far because we now have a list of vehicles that we want to know the price of. Plus, we got the opportunity to drive the truck we wanted. Wrong answer -- EVERY vehicle was quoted at the inflated retail price. So, we're now back to square one with the vehicle we originally looked at. First of all, the 'boss' quoted the original price and not the online price...a difference of a mere $2.5K. Did he not know the price that was being advertised online? Why did he not know what the price that was on his own vehicle that he was selling? Then, he proceeds to let me know that I would need to put down $4-5K and they would give me $100-$300 (yes, I wrote that right) for a Dodge Ram 1500. The scrap metal alone would have been worth more than that. Sure, there was some work to be done on it, but the floor mats were worth $100! Then, all this would come together for a tidy little monthly payment between $470-$510 per month...for a 2008 vehicle...with a 1K mile warranty...and over 100K miles.
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
...no. Then, the 'boss' continues to drill me regarding my other deal at the other dealership and interjects a false accusation that the truck was on Craigslist. Want to really make a customer upset? Accuse him/her with a false accusation. Why was he so concerned about the other deal and did not care about selling his own vehicle? What does he do with that info? He uses that deal to try and tell me that he can get me into a vehicle based upon my budget, but the cars he then showed me would be right at the top of my budget and older than the one I was trading in! In other words, he was still absolutely giving peanuts for my trade and unwilling to come down off of his price whatsoever. I don't think so. Luckily, I went back to
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
Ford and got 20X (yes, you read that right) what the Chrysler boss offered me for my trade-in for a SUV that had half the miles, much better condition at only a couple thousand more dollars. I'll gladly pay for service, quality and a deal I feel is good...and evidently, no one at this dealership was willing to work with me for my money. Glad I went elsewhere!!! Oh, and by the way, I never even laid eyes on
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
, the internet manager. Wonder if he's even a real person?

Took my 2002
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
Altima to
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
for a coolent leak and hard starting. After two days they called and said I had a BLOWN HEAD GASKET, coolent on all four cylinders, oil inside the No. 1 Spark Plug, bad left wheel bearing. Declined the service and took the car to another shop and found out the HEAD GASKET was NOT blown, no coolent on the cylinders, the oil was from valve gasket leaking. The car only needed new spark plugs and a new valve gasket. Also had a new water pump installed and wheel bearings replaced for a grand total of 678.00 dollors.

They were absolutely fantastic. They are so superior, pleasant, if something happened they fix it right away. They're pleasant to women. I won't take my car anyplace else to do service. I would use them again in the future.

I can't say how pleased I am with
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
and my consultant
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
. Shopping for cars is one of the most dreaded duties in my life. I was not looking forward to doing it again. On a client's recommendation, I called
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
, told them what I was looking for, how much I wanted to pay for the car and told them that if they can find the car at the price I want, they would have my business.
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
came though with flying colors. I was a skeptic and now I'm a convert. This is how car shopping is meant to be done. They found exactly what I was looking for (and I had had little luck with dealerships prior to calling her). She got an extremely competitive price and took care of the financing paperwork, the DMV paperwork and took delivery of the car, checked it out and called me when they had it in hand.
On top of all that, they donate a portion of their profit to the charity of my choice.
In all seriousness, they made purchasing a car a pleasant experience. I will use them again and recommend them to my friends.
They will find both new and used cars in anything from luxury to high performance to compact and hybrid in any brand.
Highly recommended.

As much as I would like to say do your homework and be prepared, I'm not sure it will work with this place. My step-daughter goes in to buy a pre-cert car from a buyers
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
program through work. Price is set (supposedly). She's a first time buyer, college grad. During a 5-hour exchange to get this car, we have to haggle over the price of the car, the 'pre-cert fee', other fees, taxes, interest rate, amount to finance, etc etc etc. We had to go thru a dog and pony show of saleswomen to manager, back and forth, back and forth. You feel like a hostage during this entire time. As soon as you say no or indicate you are leaving, more interactions with managers, promises to make it work and 'fit our budget'. You are charged a flat rate pre-cert fee on all cars. Ours was 9% of car price. Cars.comsays I should of paid anywhere from 2-8%. The car has a broken widowshield. They almost tried to get us to walk out without the 'We Owe You' paper to replace the windowshield. Wonder why the 150 point inspection for pre-cert did not catch a broken windshield??? They actually wanted to sell a car with a broken windshield and have me pay for that on top of the price of the car. I actually thought I had the pre-cert fee removed during our 'negotiation' but then it shows up in the contract. Of course, the contract was done with a different finance manager since the one I made the agreement with was busy with someone else and this guy couldn't honor his agreement. Seriously, one employee cannot honor another employees agreement. So I'm back at square one, four and half hours into this process and closing time is 30 minutes away. Can you see how this all works. There are other things to mention but I can take up this entire page of the experience. Like I said, do your homework on everything, be prepared to get up and walk out if you are not getting what you want and finally inspect the car yourself since the pre-cert process seems to be mal-functioning. Finally, the car payment booklet arrives in the mail and the interest rate is 0.1% higher then discussed and the monthly payment is $0.98 higher.

We also had a leak from our tanks in two of our 3 commodes, they came out to fix it right away, and repainted the baseboard that was discolored from the water leak. They also sent a company representative out to check to make sure the home was put together well, and have called to make sure we have no other problems.9

The purchase was fine but the customer service afterwards was less than professional. They gave us 6 months interest free to pay off the rest of the car fee which we had already paid the other half in cash. The remaining amount was to be paid $1000.00 a month until payment was in full. I unfortunately lost my job within that time, however I was making a payment of $500 every two weeks and tried as hard as I could to keep that up. They started calling every day even though payments were being made. The calls were constant and less than professional. I tried talking to them and reminding them of the payments that had been made and were going to be made. However, they continued to be rude.
The final straw that broke the camel's back was when the car was paid in full and the
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
needed to be removed from the title. Due to an accident, this had to be done and though it had been some time since the car had been paid off, the
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
still remained on the title.
I called on a Wednesday and was told that they would be taking it downtown to the County
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
's office. I followed up on Tuesday of the following week. I called
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
at 9:51 am on Tuesday. I asked if they had taken the
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
Removal form to the County
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
's office and they said "yes". I then called my Insurance company and they said it still stated there was a
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
still on the title. I called the County
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
's office to make sure and they too had not received it so I asked by what means could they deliver the form. They said that
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
could fax the form in and they gave me the fax number. I then called
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
back at 11:18 am and they said that they would resend it. I then gave them the fax number I had been given and they said that they would fax it over. After waiting a while, I called the County
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
's Office at 12:42 pm and they had not received the fax as of yet. So I called
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
at 12:45 pm and asked them if they had sent. They said that they had but. reluctantly, would resend.
I recalled the County
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
's office at 1:02 pm and still nothing. So I called
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
, again, at 1:12 pm and they said that they were re-sending right then at that moment. So I waited and called the County
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
's Office at 1:19 pm and nothing. So I waited a bit longer, giving ample time to get it sent and for it to be received. It was 1:39 pm when I called the County
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
's office and they still did not have it on their fax. I then called
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
again at 1:41 pm and talked to
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
. I thought I would use a different angle. I thought if I asked for a salesman and told him that I needed the
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
removed from the title so that my Insurance agency and then I would be able to buy another car and would be able to do so there, with them. But the fax had to be sent first so that the
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
would be removed and I could pick up my check to buy a new car with them again. He said that he would get it taken care of so I thanked him and gave them a few minutes. I called the County
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
's office at 1:52 pm and they had not received it.
At my wits end, I called
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
for what I hope to be my last time. It was 2:00 pm and I asked for the manager in charge right away. The girl on the other end asked how she could help. I told her that I had spoken with her and several others at that point and she, nor anyone else I had spoken to, had been of any help. I wanted to talk to the Manager in Charge. She would NOT let me talk to anyone else. She tried talking to me sweetly by calling me sweetheart, etc. but I told her that I was not her sweetheart and to give me the person in charge and she still would not. I ended the call by telling her that I was going to report her to anyone and everyone. Others should know what kind of a business they run and how they are fine when it had anything to do with them getting money but lacked tact when it came to serving the customer's needs. And the representative,
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
, was less than professional. She was the one I dealt with the most on the phone there.
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
, I highly recommend NOT buying or dealing with
Staunton Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
by any means! Stay far far away!
