"When we dropped off our dog,
was prepared and greeted our family.
asked us all the right questions related to our dogs feeding, sleeping and exercise schedule as well as our vet number and address. She asked about the dogs likes and dislikes.
gave us a tour of her home and showed us where our dog would be sleeping. She had taken the dog in her care and we left with ease of mind.
Upon our return we arrived to pick the dog up.
was very attentive and happened to be in her dedicated dog run playing with the dog. Our dog looked like he was at home.
We already booked
again for our next vacation scheduled in a few weeks.

"She loved the place and I did too. There are webcams where you can watch and see your pet play. Due to the length of stay, a batch was included for free. My dog came home happy and did not have any adverse reactions.

"I received this dog for foster care 3 weeks after he left
Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
Kennel. He was described as one of a large group of former breeding dogs that were filthy with urine/feces and knotted. I was told this dog was vomiting frequently and had worms but was treated after leaving the breeder. When we got him, he required further treatment for worms, had a brittle, yellow stained coat with clumps of hair apparently cut out. His vomiting issue eventually improved although he had multiple x-rays in an effort to identify the issue. He still vomits water, reason unknown. He wasn't able to jump up, his rear legs were apparently weak and lacked muscle compared to my other dogs. One rear leg has an unusual range of motion and he has a knobby front wrist despite out vet's estimated age of 1 year or less when he arrived. He was unsocialized with humans and clearly depended on our other dogs. Thankfully he's doing so much better after 6 months. we've adopted him now and while we still have to accomodate his special needs, he continues to improve. This kennel is listed by the Humane Society as one of the worst puppy mills in the US, readily verified at their website. Based on my own experience, I certainly cannot recommend purchase of puppies or any dogs from this breeder.

"Bad experience!
When we picked up our dog, she seemed traumatized. As soon as we arrived home, she urinated for a very long time as if someone had forgotten to let her out. Then she defecated, again as if she had not been walked or let out. Then she drank two bowls of water as if she had been missed. Her behavior was erratic and had difficulty calming down.
I shared my story with a dog trainer and they believe she had been neglected during her stay.
When checking out and paying at
Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
, I asked how she did. The lady said there are no notes in the computer. It made us think she was left in a kennel and not tended to.
I will not be returning to
Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
and will share my story with friends so they avoid this kennel.
Another red flag is they do not let you see where your dog will be staying. Now, this all makes me suspicious of their practices.

"This was our first visit to GCB&B. Our German
Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
dog,
Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
, was boarded for a week while we travelled north for a wedding. Upon her arrival,
Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
was examined by a vet (no charge) and it was found that she had bleeding from a ruptured cyst on her side.
Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
was treated and we were constantly kept informed of her status - all at no charge. When we picked her up we were given a prescription for two weeks of antibiotics and told how to care for her injury, which was much better by then, but still needed attention. GCB&B keeps your pets separated from other pets while they're exercised - the best reason for boarding them there! No injuries, cross-contamination, etc. from somebody else's pet - my biggest fear! Additionally, we were sent photos of
Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
playing in the exercise yard: $10 for three or four photos, a great price and you can see how your pet is reacting. You can get all kinds of play options, all very reasonable. The staff was terrific from start to finish, and I know that our
Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
was well taken car of. We were absolutely satisfied with everything at GCB&B, and expect to be using them again.

Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
did a great job! The kennel is set up so that cats occupy a separate floor from the dogs so that they are less anxious. The animals were allowed to be kept together, and were comfortable plus they got plenty of attention. The staff gave them their medications and provided a report card for each animal that gave feedback on how well they ate and if they were having any problems. We boarded them for three days - Friday to Sunday, and were surprised with a discount for one day because we were new customers. The cost was very reasonable - the same as a similar stay at our former vet's office, but the facilities and level of attention was no where near what
Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
was able to provide.

"Crystal does a bang up job taking care of her animal charges. My two dogs love being there and always head toward the front door of the kennel when we get there and get out of the car. Crystal is savvy enough about her charges and their owners to put pictures of the dogs up on the
Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
FaceBook page. It certainly helps the owners feel better when they see their dogs romping around and having a great time. I highly recommend this kennel to anyone needing a short or long-term place to board their dog(s).

"My Yellow Lab has been a frequent boarder of the
Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
Shop and Kennel -- on average one week per month, for almost a year now, and seems quite satisfied with the facilities and staff. The kennel is clean, well-organized, and offers relatively large kennel spaces for large dogs. The staff are friendly and courteous and appear to genuinely care about the pets staying at the kennel. Customer satisfaction seems to be a high priority for the kennel. For example, the kennel recently extended the drop-off hours so that it's possible for owners to drop off their pets early in the AM, without having to miss

. I have boarded my dog at several other kennels in the DC area but
Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
is the only one I use now. If you are looking for a new kennel I would recommend trying

"Our three dogs always have a terrific time here and we know they are in excellent hands. The facilities are excellent and the staff is very nice. A nice feature is that the dogs receive a complimentary bath with each boarding visit.
Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked

Scottsville Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
and Foxie definitely approve!!
