"Everything went very smoothly.
coordinated with our seller's agent to access the site for the estimate and the installation. I didn't" have to be there for any of the work. We presented the quote to the buyer and their agent was very happy that we had chosen
as he had very good experiences with them in the past. The follow up test showed the system was very effective at lowering the radon levels in the house. For the record, the house was built in 2001. The basement area is about 600sq ft, and partially finished. The equipment was installed in the unfinished sections.

and his guys are tremendous. They showed up on time and did nothing but the highest quality work. They were concerned the entire time with" the customers satisfaction. Always very friendly and professional. Installed radon mitigation system and sealed crawlspace.

Radon is a colorless, odorless gas that occurs as a decay byproduct of uranium and thorium. Radon forms naturally in the environment, and low levels can be detected in soil, rock and ground water. Homeowners that inhale radon are at risk of lung cancer and even death.

Radon Testing reviews in Roanoke

Inspection was fantastic.
Roanoke Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was very thorough and helpful and answered any questions we had. He utilized a tablet to document and snap pictures. On completion he sat down with us and went through the report point-by-point and took time to offer advice on corrections large and small and answer questions. He was very helpful particularly as we were first-time homebuyers. The hardcopy report that was provided gave pictures of all items of note, with areas highlighted/circled as needed and we have referenced this several times in doing minor repairs since closing on the home.

also noted that they keep a copy of the report and information on file and we could call anytime we needed a clarification. The radon report, when completed, was similarly detailed and great to keep on hand. Inspection took a few hours altogether.

was able to process payment through debit card on-site via phone (Square reader) so no need to write a check, which was also a nice convenience. We were very pleased with

I called to have a mitigation system installed in my house. The house was built with a "Passive Radon System", which is a fancy word for incomplete. We have the PVC pipe running into our foundation and up through the house, but it ends in the attic. Which is pointless, because it needs to vent complete out of the house, and it needs a fan to draw the radon up the piping. So basically this does nothing.

came out tot he house and gave me a quote for the work that was very reasonable. I believe it was $89. But the quote was going to use the current system, but they wanted to put a whole in the side of the house and run the pipe up the outside of the house. They tried to highlight that they were using metal downspouts rather than PVC, but in my eyes anything extra on the side of my house is just not desirable. I called back and said I want the vent to go through the roof and not up the side and use the system that was currently in place and it only added $11 to the quote. So I am very happy with the end result. The work came out so nice and you really can't tell anything was done, unless you go into the basement. They sealed all my sump pumps and any possible opening that could let radon through. The work was very professional. And I think the price was more than reasonable. I just have to wonder why they thought the option to have the gutter on the side of my house was the recommendation. To me this was the best way to do it.

The service was super.

showed up on time. He came back to check things over. He set up the retest for radon and came back to get the results. He emailed the results to us the same day. He was very professional and considerate of what needed to have done. We HIGHLY recommend him. His workmanship was excellent. He is a very pleasant person to work with.

did all the work. He showed up right when he said he would and explained everything that would be done and gave me a flat estimate for the mitigation. He worked 2 solid days doing the installation and his work is excellent. Very professional and even with all the drilling he had to do, there was no dust or mess. He made several more trips out to the house to check on the radon meter and finish details. I am very happy with the results.

As a real estate professional, I refer
Roanoke Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
to all of my clients. The level of customer service is the best I have seen in the business. The inspector takes his time to explain the systems of the home to the buyer and how to maintain their new home. I personally used
Roanoke Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
Inspections to inspect my home in August 2015 and was impressed by the report and service. Having inspected thousands of homes,
Roanoke Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
discovered some loose and missing shingles on the roof. The seller was able to file an insurance claim and put a new roof on the home prior to closing. GHI discovered some electrical and plumbing issues that needed immediate repair as well. I highly recommend
Roanoke Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
for anyone who values good customer service and a thorough inspection.

The actual installation went smoothly. This installation was done on a new home purchase. There had been some confusion involved because the two realtors also communicated with the installation company. They weren't quite sure who they were installing for but it all ended up fine in the end.
The estimate was done by one person and the installation by another. Unfortunately they didn't seem to agree on the type of system we needed installed. We went with the original system and it seems to be working well.

and his team showed up right on time (after having to drive over an hour to get all the way to Northfield!). Everyone worked hard, was professioinal and courteous, and was very respectful toward us and all of the other professionals we had working on our house that day. They knew just how to remedy our problem and completed the work in less time than

estimated. I considered going with a cheaper company but chose
Roanoke Radon Inspectors Provider Name Locked
because of the great reviews on Angie's List. I'm so glad we did! He was about 10% -15% more expensive than the national company, but worth every penny! Not a single hitch. Thanks guys!
