Danny Armstrong, inspector and owner of Armstrong Professional Services, LLC (of which Armstrong Home Inspections is a division) has been inspecting residential and light commercial real estate for nearly 20 years. Prior to his involvement in real estate inspections, Danny was involved in commercial property facilities management which involved and required experience in structural, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, electrical, roofing and all other aspects of running and managing large commercial facilities, mostly corporate offices. Danny held state certifications in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration. Before his involvement in commercial building management, Danny worked for a home builder in the Richmond area. Back in those days homes were built from the ground up completely by the builder, and not with so many sub-contractors. "We did it all from the ground up". "To do it we had to know roofing as wll as foundations, framing, pluming, electrical and so on". Being a native of Richmond, Danny is familiar with the entire area and the various building styles and types of construction in all areas around the city. Memberships: Central Virgina Better Business Bureau (A+ rating) Virgina Association of Real Estate Inspectors (VAREI) American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) Central Virgina chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors (CVASHI) - The above being extremely important since it brings together the best inspectors in the area for monthly chapter meetings with roundtable discussions between members and speakers from all aspects of home building and maintenance. CVASHI is the only inspector association in the area with a local chapter and regular educational meetings!
