"Mr.
was very friendly and helpful at the store in Highland Springs. No pressure and helped us get the best deal using a high-quality remnant. Came to inspect the area the next week prior to installation and had an installer there the next weekend. The installer was very professional, friendly, and efficient. A great job!"

"Moved in to a new house kitchen floor was awful and out dated called
and asked for a quote. He came out and gave me an estimate. Once I agreed to have the work done he came out the next day and started pulling up my old flooring. They did not stop until the old floor was done completely. The old floor was put on with glue so it took a little longer to pull up. I was impressed how they stayed and worked into the afternoon to get it up. I also liked how he asked me what color of tile I wanted and offered me some suggestions on what colors and style would look good in my kitchen. They put down the new floor in a very timely manner. I love my new kitchen floor. It made my kitchen look like a brand new kitchen."

"This guy is always busy and really hard to get a hold of. However, he does good work.
Mechanicsville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
is his name. He usually works by himself but sometimes he may get a
Mechanicsville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
to help him. He does have a license though. Sometimes you just have to be patient and wait for him because he may not be able to get to you right away. He is very professional and his work is definitely worth the wait for sure."

"Rod & his team did a great job! I obtained 1 other estimate (from a well-known floor store in town). The labor prices were comparable (one was lower on some aspects of the labor and the other was lower on others) but the price of the materials (NOT included in the price I gave in this review since I bought it separately) was a good $1000 lower through his contractor-only showroom. The guys did an awesome job! I felt comfortable leaving them there with a key to the house to come in on their own the 2nd and 3rd days while I was at work. It looks amazing and I couldn't be happier.
One note - Rod is better about answering his phone than about keeping up with emails so phone is the way to go with him.
Great experience...highly recommend!

"The first thing I did was to write a Statement of Work. I wrote exactly what work I wanted done. I measured and gave the approximate square footage for each area. I checked Angie's list and found
Mechanicsville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
. I called and left a message.
Mechanicsville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
called back right away and we made an appointment for him to come out and look at the work I wanted done.

showed up at the time agreed to and read over my Statement of Work. We then looked at the basement and Mr.
Mechanicsville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
measured and wrote things down. We went over the job in detail and shared ideas on what I wanted done and what he could do. I told him it was important to not penetrate our existing B-dry waterproofing system he said no problem and
showed me how he would frame the walls. He was genuinely interested in the project. I called 2 other contractors; one
gave a quote of $30K and another wanted $125 just to look at the job and provide an estimate (I said no thanks! to both contractors).

’s estimate was within the estimate I developed. I contacted

and said I wanted to move forward with the job.

e-mailed a formal estimate with all the work written down and the payment terms. I had special financing from my bank,
Mechanicsville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
worked with me on the financing terms. Before the work was started, the contractor installed a plastic sheeting barricade to prevent dust from coming upstairs. The contractor put plastic sheeting over my property in the basement to protect from dust. One the first day, he came out with his full crew and they framed up all the walls and did what he said he was going to do. All the walls were framed up without a single nail penetrating the b-dry waterproofing system. The contractor received all the necessary permits from the county and the work was inspected by a county inspector at different points
through-out the job. The work proceeded at a steady pace in the next coming weeks. The contractor clean-up the jobsite after each day.

is a good communicator and responded to my phone calls and e-mails in the same day or the very next morning. Very timely responses.

was onsite most of the time where I could just go and talk to him. He asked if the work looked good and if there was anything I didn’t like to please tell him. He explained what they were doing and gave updates on the schedule and what work was next. Once all the walls were finished,
Mechanicsville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
gave us an opportunity to paint the walls before the drop ceiling was installed which was a big help. We took advantage of that and painted all the walls. We had some small changes we wanted done and wanted to add some things.
Mechanicsville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
was very accommodating to changes. Some changes added more cost but the additional amount was reasonably priced. The contractor did some extras that we did not ask for and he didn’t charge for it. Some of these extras were installing a hard wired smoke detector, placement of additional trim between existing drywall and fireplace, and he installed some additional drywall behind bathroom wall. At the end of the job, I had a small punch list of things to correct and
Mechanicsville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
made the corrections. The job was completed a little after the timeframe he told me but it was because of coordination issues with the county to get the work inspected. Overall it wasn’t that much of a delay. My family is very pleased with having a new family rec room and bathroom in the basement. The work was high quality and done in a professional manner. I am glad I went with
Mechanicsville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
for this job. I will definitely do business again with

Mechanicsville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
did a very good job and very responsive. The flooring which was done by their sub-contractor could have been done a little bit better. We had a few issues, it took awhile to get it resolved and then they called someone else to resolve it. Overall I was satisfied but with the flooring, that was the area that gave us the most concern. They were able to address it but it was not perfect. We were happy and satisfied in the end. They were very professional. The price is good. We're scheduled for Mr.
Mechanicsville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
to do something for us soon.
