"We have fun, loving two champion sired puppies. They are great except for that we have spoiled from the start. They jump over everyone as soon as door rings
are there ready to get all the attention and ...more it was turning into a difficult situation. We knew from the start it was our fault and did not punish them. So I called
, and we set up an appointment.
came over and I thought he was going to either run away or say there is no hope. Within 10 min of him interacting with dogs I thought that I was out of it when our dogs started to listen and behave.
took his time and did a great job and we are so happy. Its so nice to be able to sit and watch Tv without our dogs jumping all over and walk out the door without them pushing threw. "

"It has gone very good, she has given us a lot of things to go by and we are doing really good with our little guy. We still have trouble with one thing and that is telling us when he needs to go out. He does not make mistakes in the house, because we ...more know how to time his trips, however he barks at us and will not stop and
said to ignore that he just wants attention. We have done that and that does not work, he will continue to bark until we get up and walk to the door, and then it is sometimes a challenge to get him out. We usually go back and sit down and wait to see if he will come to us again, and it seems like a revolving door. I would definitely refer
to someone, she has been great with our guy, and we are very pleased at his progress. "

(head trainer) told us that Graceling "didn't try to please people". Based on how quickly Graceling learned from us, we immediately became suspicious. Walking into the facility, we noticed that the window screens - intact a month earlier when we dropped Graceling off - had ...more claw
ripping them to shreds, as though dogs had been trying to get into the house from outside. When we asked
about them he looked uncomfortable and changed the subject. When he finally let us see Graceling, a hand dropped to pet her ears came back dark with old earwax, and she had dried mud stuck inside her ears and between her paw pads. During the four weeks that she was at
's, Graceling acquired a double-ear infection, giardia, and a bladder infection.
! She is VERY knowledgable and passionate about dogs. We had 10 one hour training sessions and all of them were VERY well done and after each I was given a reminder ...more sheet of what we worked on. What most humans don't realize is that they (
) are training YOU to train your dog! To the people that want to drop off their dog for someone else to train them really doesn't make much sense because it's YOUR dog and you want the dog to listen to you. After our 1 hour training a week I would work with my dogs to keep reinforcing what
taught us, which you HAVE to do! You cannot expect just 1 hour a week with the trainer to work, you have to work throughout the week as well. I promise you if you follow all of their instructions and commit yourself to your dog and your work you will be overjoyed at the results! All in all
trained me to train my dog the proper way and we are all very happy! Thank you
!!!! I would not recommend ANYWHERE or ANYONE else! "
took the time to show me the way I need to act and treat my dog in order for her to be successful.
is definitely the
Dog Whisperer. I just wish I new him years ago. I can't wait to see where ...more the lessons he taught me today, take me and my dog in the future! It was a pleasure having him here and it has reaffirmed my faith in my dog!! I will never forget you
is a gifted trainer. He is amazing. I used to have so much trouble trying to get
to do anything that I wanted her to do. Within minutes I learned how to communicate instructions to her and she followed them. It used to be so frustrating walking her and I was always afraid that she would unintentionally ...more hurt me. She is like a new dog now. The day after training she was a little unsure about what she was supposed to do. That lasted about two minutes. As soon as I had her walk next to me it all came back to her and she has been amazing. We have been in situations now where she used to take off running and drag me. Now I can correct her behavior instantly. My neighbors are amazed at the difference in her behavior. No one can believe that she has only had one class! "
"I rescued a female Great Pyrenees 2 years ago who is now 6 years old--a senior citizen in big dog years. She was extremely high anxiety when I brought her home, scared of everyone and everything, never had gone for a walk, never had treats, didn't know what to do with a bone, and shaking when someone approached her. I can't imagine what ...more sort of existence she had before. She'd really flip out when thunder came--and actually one time had a seizure. The drugs the vet put her on made her worse--never again--she became violent instead of calm and I was scared of her as she is almost as big as I am. I thought she'd attack me after the drugs. The vet told me to give her a higher
--no thanks! Even Composure didn't help--and I had given her up to 5 biscuits. She has never has been very motivated by food either so that made it more difficult. She has come a long way, but I knew I needed to get professional help when she went from shy and scared dog to becoming aggressive towards anyone who came to visit me--and that included children--she never bit anyone, but she went after them and nipped them from behind and was very angry. I saw a disaster coming. Although I really don't believe in giving an animal up once you've adopted them--they are your family-- the thought was starting to seep into the corners of my mind with this dog because there was almost nothing redeeming about her anymore and she was highly unpleasant and demanding to be around, and just a bull in a china shop when she became playful. She was no longer a colorful character but a royal pain where the sun doesn't shine. She barked all night and I've been exhausted because I'm woken up numerous times during the night--can't put her anywhere or else she'd claw at the door and scratch and whine and she's over 100 lbs--that's a lot of weight and noise and damage. Can't put her outside because I'm becoming unpopular with the neighbors due to the incessant non stop barking and trying to attack the dogs through the fence. I increased her exercise hoping she would tire out and her behavior was getting worse rather than better--a tired dog being a good dog is definitely not an appropriate statement when it comes to this dog. In fact her behavior became drastically improved when I DIDN"T walk her--obviously not healthy and very strange. And none of my former training techniques helped with this dog. NOTHING and I went through two different trainings with my other dogs.
for help--just blindly reaching out to someone who looked good on the internet. I had a total of 4 visits with
, but after the first one, Daisy was like night and day and kept improving ever since. Drastically. Overall much calmer.
gave me several suggestions of products I can purchase which have helped tremendously and instantaneously! Secondly,
started training me with the Clicker and showed me how to help Daisy learn new ways of being. This was hard. A big dog who isn't motivated by treats very much, is very lazy and just wants to
around--but of course
had lots of suggestions and reasons. She had Daisy's number pretty quickly of meeting her--the anxiety of so much seeing others (even on our walks) was hyping her up on cortisol where she couldn't calm down. Finally,
gave me a plethora of resources to explore now.
What most impressed me is
's respect for the animals. I've never heard of positive motivation for dogs--all my other dog training classes made me cringe and I always wondered whether there was a
and more humane way of training animals. Yes there is! And
is your expert to help show you how. Her 25 years of experience have made her an expert.
is incredibly in tune with animal behavior--she is very respectful and very kind to the dogs--she truly enjoys them as if they were people and has both a little dog and a big dog of her own--so she truly gets it with these big old dogs with slow metabolisms! Even SHE was surprised that by the 4th time, Daisy was learning so quickly and was so much calmer and picking things up quickly. Daisy even started loving the treats and enjoyed the training. I honestly didn't think there was any hope for this dog, but she enjoys training now--she knows when we have that clicker coming out it's time to mentally stimulate ourselves--and that's fun time. She's so happy! I continue using the techniques
gave me to help calm Daisy down--it's priceless. I can have a dog getting out of control in response to other neighborhood dogs barking and I do this one thing..boom, dog is falling asleep. I have a dog that now sleeps during thunder, and is calm when visitors come, and I can finally sleep through the night without multiple episodes of non stop barking and I can work from home without feeling the need to escape away from her. She is actually quite loving too.
is extremely knowledgeable, I highly recommend her--and if you consider your dog to be your family member, this is the trainer for you. Although the cost was a bit high for what I can afford-- I have a new dog and you can't put a price on that. I finally have developed a connection with my dog and I enjoy her--we can communicate non verbally even because we're so good together now. And when she starts acting up, I know exactly what I need to do to calm her down--no drugs and no nasty side effects required and result is immediate--even my teenagers calm down! This is thanks to
"Everything was smooth the company helped me find the dog and train as well. Told me that i was welcome to attend any other pre scheduled trainnings on there site at no charge as well for furture up keep.
is an excellent instructor. She taught some basic training and obedience methods and then taught more training particular to our wants and needs. She did not rush or gloss over any issues. She normally stayed over time at no additional charge. Our puppy soon relished her visits. We would recommend
to anyone ...more in need of dog training. Her fee was substantially less than another trainer we considered. "
