Very nice but we really had no idea that our shower was in that much trouble. Since no dry

cement board was installed when house was built, I am at a loss. My quote was 1800 if I did the demo and supplied the tile. I don't have this kind of money so I hope a repair can be found with them cheaper because they were nice but it is a disaster. I think hitting the tiles at the top or side would have helped us still be able to use in an emergency, like our relatives arriving or something like that.

and the team saved the day! Not only did they do a beautiful job,
but they fixed the plumbing issue last minute when the plumber didn't
show. They worked quickly, were friendly and did a perfect job. This was
the only shower in the home so it had to be done in one day. Awesome.

The whole experience was GREAT!!! We stopped in their store one evening and were immediately greeted by Mansoor. He was very professional and showed an appreciation for our budget. It was refreshing to be showed tiles that were the best value for us with no high pressure. We also worked with
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
who helped us finalize the quotation and schedule the start of our install. He was also very professional and eager to ensure he provided us the best service. We were excited when the tile and installer showed up with in a few days. They described their tile install guy as "an artist" and its so true. He made our previously plain master bathroom look awesome! Also important was that they worked neatly. Tiling can make a mess with all of the mastic, tile cutting dust, and grout. When they were done at the end of each day, they left it so neat that you couldn't tell they were there.
Overall I could not have asked for a better experience. From the minute I walked in their store I knew these were the people I wanted to work with. Shopped around at a few other places and genuinely only felt comfortable here.

From the first
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
(the owner of the company) pledged to stay within our budget and we did so. I appreciated the honesty of the estimate (no
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
costs, and very clear what additional items we were responsible for).
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
accompanied me to the tile store and the plumbing supply store and with his experience he was able to steer me to something in our price range. All the men that came to work at our house were very considerate and cleaned up each day as much as possible. The painters and the tile layers did a meticulous job.
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
and
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
who did everything else (installing cabinet, plumbing, lighting and incidentals) were polite, efficient and always able to answer my many questions. The result was stunning! We went from a 1970s bathroom (basically original with the house) to a modern beautiful bathroom. I would recommend this company highly and when we can afford it, I would have them come again to do another job.

It was hard for us to reach each other at the start. Lots of phone tag. Still, we needed the work done quickly since we were moving, and it was done in a reasonable amount of time.
They sent us
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
, and he is wonderful! We would recommend him to anyone. Very pleasant to work with, flexible with hours as needed. The job took several more hours than anticipated. I would suggest getting a full quote before starting work. I prefer to pay by the job than by the hour, but their hourly rate of $45 was very reasonable.
Day one he demolished our old shower stall so we could see the extent of the mold. It wasn't that bad. Only the drywall and insulation on the outside wall needed replacing. We kept our shower's tile floor because it would have been very expensive to replace and
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
told us it was sound.
Day two he put up the drywall, insulation, and most of the tile.
Day three finished the tile and grout.
Day four (only 2 1/2 hours) reinstalled the glass and fixed the broken tiles in the kitchen. Altogether 24 hours, but since we had bought a deal for 4 hours, we didn't need to pay for more than 20.
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
cleaned up the space beautifully and left us the leftover tile in case we need to repair a tile. He had to match our existing tub surround and did an excellent job!
What a pleasant company to work with, though the guy I made the appointment with could work on his phone-side manner. don't be scared off. He's a sweetheart.

Everything went great. The ceramic tile was installed about a week after our purchase by one two-man crew on a Thursday and Friday. This was a one day delay from what we had planned, to allow them to finish another customer's project, but this delay was
well communicated to us and was not a problem. The carpet in the stairway was installed by another 2-man crew the following Monday. While the work crews were not direct employees of
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
, they were both crews that the owner works with a lot and does good work for him. The tile specialist from the store came with the crews when they showed up and inspected the work after they were done. The installers were very polite and respectful. They were very careful not to cause damage to walls, rails and moldings. They did a great job cleaning up after their work. I was very satisfied with the quality of their work.
The
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
store is
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
off the beaten path about a mile east of Sudley Road just off of Balls Ford Road. It is not a fancy showroom, but has a pretty good selection of various types of tile and carpet that they have been able to purchase. They have a lot of remnant carpets. The people working there are very friendly and are not pushy at all. They seem to know their stuff well. I do not hesitate to recommend them at all.

We were disappointed to have spent so much time researching on Angie’s List for a contractor that produced quality work for reasonable
prices only to find one with great Angie’s List reviews, but one we were ultimately dissatisfied with.
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
is the company owner and he has painters, a floor guy, a tile guy, a plumber, and an electrician that he works with, though
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
does do some work himself. First impressions were good which is why he won this project over 2 other contractors. However, his responsiveness prior to the first payment was poor. We had to submit our contract to our lender in order for renovation money to be approved.
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
missed the deadline for the submission of the contract which nearly affected our closing date. Also, before we submitted the first payment, it was difficult to get in contact with him. He rarely answered his phone so we frequently asked questions via email or text but when he responded he didn't fully answer our questions.
I had informed him at the beginning that we wanted to start work ASAP after closing (
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
17) since our move in date was scheduled to be Aug 17, but after closing he said his schedule was filling up and he would not be able to start until the 1st or 2nd week in August. I was not happy about this so he agreed to start
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
27 with an anticipated date of completion of August 10 (which I got in writing). This allowed an extra week in case
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
was delayed for whatever reason. So he agreed to these dates stating he would have to be out of town a few days but that he'd have his guys working while he was out. But right before the 27, he informs me he is going to be out for a week and that he did not have any work scheduled during his absence! He said we'll still have plenty of time since the date of completion was Aug 15. I reminded him it was the 10th, so he scheduled painting to be done while he was out.
During the
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
,
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
was a bit more responsive but he ignored my repeated requests that everything be run through me for approval--nothing added or changed from the original contract without MY express approval. But he replaced the lighting fixture in the bathroom and the mirror in the bathroom without informing me or consulting me as to the design or anything. There were also issues that arose (such as a dirty gap behind the new toilet because the new toilet base was smaller than the previous toilet or a large gap between the kitchen countertop and backsplash due to the cabinets being uneven) that I was never informed about--I was just left to find these things on my own and hear excuses about them, but was never offered an opportunity to correct them before finding them on my own.
We were supposed to get a new electric line installed for the jacuzzi tub. But I had to get
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
approval. Due to
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
taking his time getting
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
requested documentation to me (and by the way he originally advised me not to even tell my
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
because it would delay work--I thought that was very unprofessional and I insisted it be done correctly), this delayed the approval and by the time the approval came through,
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
couldn't get his electrician out to do this project before move in day. For weeks I begged him to get this going and I kept getting the run around until I finally told him to forget it and asked for my deposit back. I got another 2 weeks of run around before I actually received the check.
My father was originally going to install new cabinet doors in the kitchen, but he asked
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
to do it instead as an addition to the contract. We realized Home Depot made an error and the cabinet doors did not fit. At this point I told
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
to hold everything--my parents and I would discuss that evening and we would inform him the next day what we wanted to do with the doors. But when I called to inform him of our decision, he had already painted all the cabinet doors white and said I was the one who told him to do that! I NEVER would have told him to paint them white--they were already white! But he still charged us for it! At this point, he says he's getting confused and is walking off site for the day until he can straighten everything out and draft a formal addendum for all the additions to the original contract. This delayed work nearly 2 days and it was only a few days til move in at this point because we had missed the Aug 10 deadline. I thought his addendum was ridiculous but my parents said we should go ahead so we could get everything done on time.
***Quality of Work:
1) Painting was sloppy. I don't think tape was used in the kitchen--green and white bleeding together at ceiling line. Green paint splotches were on electric outlets in kitchen, drip of green paint down my fridge, white splotch of paint on bathroom cabinet, paint on the sides of kitchen cabinet.
2) Patchwork was sloppy: There was a large outlet sized square on the bathroom wall which had not been sanded and leveled or drywalled over.
3) Tub Front:
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
agreed to build something for the jacuzzi tub front to hide the motor and underbelly of the tub. All he did was cut a piece of plywood and paint it 2 coats. It looks awful and doesn't even meet the tile, leaving a gap. Plus it is flimsy and is not a good material to serve its purpose since it will come in contact with water and humidity. He agreed to replace it after the contract was complete because I was dissatisfied but after 2 weeks of giving me the run around, he finally said he'd come fix it but for an additional $50! We already paid $175 for it--so we told him to forget it.
4) Dirty: I was going to pay a cleaning lady to come clean after
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
but before move in, but
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
assured me they would clean up thoroughly after
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
. I found dust and dirt all over the kitchen floor and counters, dust on the walls of the shower, debris and dirt loose or stuck to the bottom of the tub and bathroom sink, orange fingerprints all over the bathroom door (looked like hot sauce--I know that didn't come from us!!!)
5) Fixtures: the bathroom vent fan was missing, there were light fixtures either loose or missing, and there was a missing attic access cover.
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
fixed or replaced everything but the attic access cover when requested, but the vent fan was installed so that a noticeable gap was left.
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
had excuses for all of these issues, none of which involved blame from him or his company. When we expressed dissatisfaction about things, he never accepted blame and usually turned it around to be my fault or my parents' fault. But the bottom line here is, the experience was bad and the QUALITY was poor. The attached pictures evidence this, and cannot be argued or blamed back to us, though something tells me
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
will respond and again put all the blame back on us.

2nd project by this company!
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
and his team did an excellent job on the remodel of my 2nd bathroom. Installed new porcelain tile, repaired drywall, installed new cabinetry, sink, and fixtures and reinstalled toilet, repaired and replaced moldings and shutoff valves in the house. As usual, very professional, prompt, friendly but most of all the same awesome high quality work they did on my first project with this company!! Thanks again for such a great job!

We have a small master bath and thought the price was fantastic. Called after purchasing the deal and setup an appointment. Asked how the"deal" works and was told the price included everything. The owner/installer would bring the tile, etc... He called two days before to say if he has to move the toilet it would be an extra $100. I pointed out his "deal" said everything included; which in my book should be labor cost. Still at $399, we said sure. No longer a "deal" but the project would be done. When he showed up he said the cost of moving the toilet was $180 instead of $100.
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
?!? The guy has a heavy accent and insist he told me $180. No way. He said that he's losing money by putting in the floor for the advertised price and has to recoupe somewhere. He went on and on about additional cost for subfloor and grout, etc... Then when my husband showed him his deal online we stumbled upon his current one for $995 with the exact same wording..."all labor and materials included". There's no difference between the two. So whether you pay 299 or 995 for the "deal" he's not even licensed and he's going to want more $$$$.
Totally disgusting experience. Requesting refund from Angie and don't recommend
Manassas Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
or the deal.

The results are terrific and the bathroom looks brand new. There is also no remnants of the damage to the ceiling in the lower level after their repair and painting. Very professional and friendly too!. Thanks for the stellar job!!!!
