replied to my many messages very quickly. He arrived on time with another worker. The painting was done very professionally and it looks fantastic.
has a very nice personality and is easy to work with. ...more They cleaned up everything in the area and put back things they had to move. I would hire him again in a nanosecond with no hesitation whatsoever. Thank you

"Excellent. 4 painters for 8 hours. They completed about 99% of the house's trim in the 8 hours. More than I expected. Professional, courteous crew that worked very efficiently. I would have used them to finish the painting, but there really wasn't ...more enough to justify them coming back so, I finished it myself. ++++ "

after seeing his special and great reviews on Angie's List.. While offer was not for painting two story heights, after we discussed and came to an agreement on that, we added a couple of other rooms at a greatly reduced rate. They were punctual and professional, being very careful to prevent paint splatter and ...more such. The job looked great once they finished and we were so happy we didn't have to do any more painting ourselves. We will definitely consider them again if we need any more painting done as they were certainly work every penny we paid. "
, for our whole house remodel. The project lasted from November 2012 - April 2013 and we are very pleased with the work and have no reservation in recommending them for any project.
The remodel included: adding a floor over a two-story family room/living ...more room space, gutting and expanding the kitchen, gutting and redoing 2 bathrooms (master and child's) including new plumbing, replacing wood floors and carpeting with wider plank wood floors on both the first and second floors including new stairs, new railing at the stairs and areas open to the first floor, updating the laundry room, converting the dining room into a large walk-in pantry, creating a new entry from the garage into the house, relocating
the fireplace and adding floor to ceiling natural stone, custom built-in
in the family room, added recessed lighting and ceiling fixtures throughout, converted the cathedral ceiling in the master bedroom to a tray ceiling, enlarged a child's bedroom and bathroom, and custom paint and tile work.
really listened to what we wanted in the kitchen and came up with a great layout that worked within the original appliance/plumbing placement. She recommended drawers for the base cabinets and I couldn't be happier with them (the corner drawers are the coolest!). Although we have fewer upper cabinets, we have more overall cabinet space than before, which is fantastic. We are so pleased with it, that we have recently contacted
and shelves to the pantry.
also designed the bathrooms' vanities for both the master bath and our child's bathroom - they are exactly what we wanted.
also went really well.
remained conscious of the budget and suggested some cost saving alternatives, but left the ultimate decision to us. I'm a bit of a control freak and he was patient with me and my million questions. We were able to select many of the finish items ourselves, which some contractors don't allow. He was also open to making a change if we thought something else would work better for us. I'm so happy he suggested cove crown molding for the main floor because it was the
look we wanted. We were also pleased with his subcontractors - carpentry/plumbing, electrical, painting, and tile.
We lived in the basement during the remodel and my husband and I also work from home and they were respectful of that whenever coming to the basement to deal with electrical, water, or HVAC . The main and second floors were cleaned up at the end of each day, which is nice when you're still in the home.
The project stayed within the cost budget, but did go over in time - this was a large project and the overall time it took to complete was
kept us up to date with any time overruns.
Overall, we would definitely recommend
Hall came for the estimate, he suggested several changes to the scope of work and some of the colors I'd picked out. The end result was a home that looks much better than it would have if he had simply performed the work as I originally asked. His suggestions really make a big difference. ...more Amazingly, they did more work as a result of the suggested changes but ended up doing the work for less than competitors had quoted. The
work is also excellent quality. My new home theater looks amazing. I'm extremely happy with the work and highly recommend
builders after I had 4 other contractors look at the job.
took his time to look over the job , where others were in and out. His team got started and did the most impressive painting job. My husband who is very meticulous was very pleased. All rooms were painted, trim on the stairs was ...more completely redone, which was painted poorly by the original builder in 2007.
The damage in the ceilings was repaired as well.
and his team had found problems with how the bathrooms were put in. The crack in the master shower was due to the concrete underneath the tiles not being mixed correctly so part of the floor turned to sand. The other shower had a pipe that was put in with a hairline crack. We so appreciated
and his team for their expertise.
We also had a bathroom put in the first floor and it was done so quickly and so well.
The front entrance was painted as well.
My husband and I were so happy with
Builders they are everything you want in a contractor. Expertise, talent, personable, professional and really nice to boot!
"This painting company arrived on-time and painted my father's entire house. There were two kitchens, 5 bedrooms, two large living areas and the bathrooms. They did a quality job and were very professional. I would use them again anytime."
's initial estimate, we hired him. He was professional and seemed to offer a fair price for the work to be done. His men came to do the work on 9/20/11. It was an 8-9 hour job for 3 men.
did not arrive until the end of the day to collect payment and go over the work. After I pointed out ...more the mistakes made, he explained that there was a 1 year warranty on the job, and that he would return to complete the work to our satisfaction. The invoice also noted a 1 year warranty. I felt comfortable enough to pay him at this point. I tried to get back in touch with
to complete the work for the next TWO MONTHS. Email, multiple phone numbers, even left a note at his house. He finally contacted me, offered a lame excuse, and came out in early December to look at the job and, I think, get a sense of the supplies he would need. We agreed upon December 20, 2011 for the work to be completed. On this day, no one showed up, and I could not get in touch with him or anyone from his company. I waited at home all day. I continued to pursue his attention, and he finally emailed me on January 17, 2012, offering another lame excuse. We then agreed upon February 2, 2012 for him to correct the work. He showed up 1 hour late, after I emailed and called him with no response. He did not have any other workers with him (this is the kind of job that should require at least one other man). Before he started, I went over the work to be completed. After a few hours, he said he was finished. I found the work to be sloppy and not at all what we had agreed on earlier that day. When I told him this, he pushed back and said that while he did not complete the work per our agreement, the work done should suffice. After FIVE MONTHS of dealing with the most frustrating man I've ever done business with, I gave up. He left, and now it's up to us to fix the mess."
's work from a friend. I called and was scheduled that week. Ed, the owner, talked me through the different types of paint and suggested colors. Even before the actually painting began, I was getting excited about the outcome. His love of paint and artistry is infectious. Ed, who formerly had a career ...more in the U.S. Navy, I found out has an excellent work ethic, attention to detail and pride in his work. I was delighted with our new office, as was my husband. I am planning to have Ed back to paint my basement and garage this year. "
