Business Description: We are professional carpenters, and we do professional work. We do not bid on jobs where the aim is solely to hire the low bidder. We are a father and son team. I am 56 years old, and my son is 30 years old. I grew up working with my Dad, and my son grew up working with me. He is a third generation carpenter. We sometimes have a helper on the job (the 2 that we now use are my son's age), but either my son or I is on every job, all day long. We do not leave helpers alone on the jobsite. We have experience with all phases of construction. I am from the era when a good carpenter was an all around tradesman. We believe that a good carpenter should be familiar with, and able to perform, any building task. This includes concrete work, framing, roofing, siding, interior and exterior finish carpentry, and so on. We specialize in remodeling. Many home builders have tried to transition into the remodeling market. This is due, in part, to the housing situation. However, remodeling is a totally different business. A good remodeling contractor does not try to "bang out" the job. We realize that any new work or repair work must tie in with the existing structure as seamlessly as possible. A professional remodeling contractor will not use cheap subcontractors to do the cheapest job. We do not want our name attached to a poor job. We realize that we will be in your home, and we will respect your home. We are fussy, old style carpenters.
