Dust mites are microscopic relatives of the spider that live on mattresses, bedding, upholstered furniture, carpets and curtains.
One of the common complaints we see on Angie’s List in the alterations category is that clothes are not altered in time. Don’t wait until a week before school starts to get those clothes fitted properly because they might have a back to school rush. Keep in mind shops may also be busy this time of year with wedding alterations.

Dry Cleaning reviews in Farmville
I called a couple of local laundromats that sent me straight to voicemail. I called another, which was closer to my home, but the lady who answered the phone spoke very broken English and had no idea what they charged for cleaning comforters (I don't think that she understood what a "comforter" is), she apologized and said that it was her first day at work there. (I decided that it might be worth driving a little further.)
Without much to go on, except for one good review that I found elsewhere online, I decided to give
I was very pleasantly surprised!
When I called, someone actually answered the phone, spoke English, and promptly answered my questions, offering the best price that I could find in the area. They have a very nice, updated, professional looking website. The attendant was prompt and courteous, and they had my comforter cleaned, folded, and bagged, smelling nice and fresh again, within a matter of just a FEW HOURS!
$35 with a THREE HOUR turn-around time, for cleaning a KING SIZE COMFORTER, and it turned-out WONDERFULLY!
I'm very happy that I stumbled onto this little gem in the rough! I know that they'll be washing my comforters for years to come!
A little background: I've lived in this neighborhood off and on for well more than a decade and, while I have not been a constant customer here I have used them for shirts and dry cleaning a fair bit through the years. I always thought they were basically okay, with more frequent, yet benign, screw-ups than I would like. Twice in the past couple months, for example, I returned shirts that had not been pressed properly. Annoying but not terrible.
All of that just changed.
I recently noticed they have a sign in the window saying they clean rugs. I've always trusted my rugs only to
About 9 or 10 days later I was in the store to drop off some shirts and I asked about my rug on the off-off-
The guy helping me said he was the manager (he wasn't), and he had ZERO information about what was going on. Just then another gentleman drove up who represented himself as the owner (he wasn't) drove up and said he is responsible for carpets. He had plenty of excuses. For one of them, he threatened to
YES, HE THREATENED TO
The thing that seems to be true is that he was out of the office for a personal reason and he says none of his employees took over some of his responsibilities. We all have personal issues, but a good manager has systems in place for other people to take over. You don't just let stuff pile up!
So, now they're scrambling to get my rug done on time, and the wanna-be-owner-guy pledges it will be. He initially said he would do that by drying it in an extremely hot room - something a leading rug company says could ruin it. And this is Eco's leading rug guy. Why not just throw it in the dryer??
Would my rug have gotten cleaned if I hadn't stumbled across it? Are they now taking shortcuts? Why the #$@#($* was it laying on a bare floor for people to step on it 10 days after I dropped it off? I've asked these and many other questions and gotten scant, sometimes conflicting, answers.

Seamstress was often late for our appt. Shop was very hot and changing room was extremely small.
