with
and Siding of VA, Inc. is an absolute pleasure to work with.
provided us with a detailed estimate and clearly explained all the work that would be done, the materials to be used and the time it would take.
The workers performed the job just as explained and cleaned up when the job was completed.
We are extremely happy with our new fascia and gutter and feel confident that the price was fair and the work was wonderful.
I would highly recommend this company.

is a true professional and I trust his opinion. We have since had
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
examine our roof and gutters. I would use him again for sure. And although we did not find
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
on Angie's list I wanted to comment when I saw his company was listed. I would give

"I spoke with multiple window replacement companies before deciding on
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
. The First thing that jumped out with this company was their willingness to work around our schedule. Another thing i liked about this company was the up front pricing. I can pick and choose different features of the window. I wanted the triple pane glass and it was easy to see what each option cost and what the total price was. Great customer service and high quality work. If i have to share any negative experience was they left few trash items on my property but, overall great experience.

helped with repair and installation of two front door sidelites and a transom under the door manufacturer's warranty. There was an issue of water getting past or under the threshold and being wicked up into and rotting the door jamb and frame.

from
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
diagnosed the problem and advocated on my behalf to get the entire sidelites/transom unit replaced under manufacturer's warranty. When the door manufacturer's installer came to replace the unit,
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
showed up with a crew of 3 to help. He made sure the subfloor was built up to provide proper drainage and prevent wind-driven rain from getting under the threshold. He and his crew were instrumental in getting the replacement door unit installed properly.
Since 2009,
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked

"The windows were delivered and installation began in April 2010. During the removal of the old windows, one of the installers dropped something from the third floor outside and it broke the glass dome of the electric meter....I heard glass break but and went and checked upstairs to see what happened....and the installers acted like nothing had happened. Halfway through the installation, the installers indicated that there was something wrong with the new windows and that news one would need to be re-ordered. And I asked what was wrong with the new windows....they were warped and being defective would void the warranty. So, they finished the install and sprayed in expanding foam around
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
openings but did not put the casings on as they were just temporary. And so began
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
saga. The spray foam was inconsistently sprayed and didn't expand correctly. In the mornings, I could see daylight through the sprayfoam...and there were areas that were opened to the elements. It was a particularly buggy year and I had lots of bugs in my bedroom. The installers left and said they would contact me when the new windows arrived...about a month later - in May 2010, I was contacted - they came to install the windows and uh-oh - the new windows were also defective.....so, yup - you guessed it - another window order. They took the new windows back to the warehouse and said "we'll be in touch". If you recall from above, the initial installation was incomplete and temporary. May turned into June, then
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
. I began making phone calls to the company....they indicated that the windows were on order but hadn't arrived. First it was the issues with the company located in Ohio, then the issue was the windows were ready but waiting for pickup in Ohio by a trucking firm. Then there was a delay in the shipping because of a truck strike - or something similar. Then the
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
said that it was a partial delivery because they were waiting on Window ballast that were not shipped with the windows.... hmmm, window ballasts? My windows are casement not double hung. This was early August 2010. The
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
said she would contact me to arrange date for installation.....late August/early September - I called the company again and the
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
said "your job is completed"....and I said no it isn't. I'm waiting for the third re-order on windows that supposed to have been installed in April....(light-bulb moment). She rechecked the paperwork...turns out that the Sales guy that I wrote the work order with had had TWO customers with first names of
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
. And my sales/installation paperwork was attached and filed to the other customers paperwork - and her job had been completed and filed.
The company then sent another window installer with the windows to install the new windows......and guess what - the 3rd re-order were also defective. And then he looked at the existing windows and said what is wrong with these. And then he asked am I supposed to finish the woodwork framing/rough-in? (Reply Yes), He replies no one told me that. I indicated that the original paperwork indicated removal of old windows and complete installation of new windows which included putting the framing around the windows. Since April 2010 thru September 2010, I had two windows with incomplete installation, minimal spray foam installation - with periods of cold/wet weather and period of very hot weather. And not to forget very buggy master bedroom. The original windows were wood casement windows made by Peachtree. Only one needed to be replaced. They recommended both to be replaced and so for six month, I had windows that were defective and not installed correctly and my bedroom open to the elements. The new windows were vinyl. I think they decided to leave the windows installed in April in - as the reorders were all the same. The installer finally finished the windows with additional installation and adding the framing. I was responsible for repairing damage to drywall and painting of
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
frames. Then the installer realized that no one had ordered the coil wrap for the outside window...so that had to be reordered and installed at a later date. The installer indicated I did not need to be home as the work could be taken care of from the outside. I said fine. The day of the install for the coil, I ended up taking the day off. The appointment had been made for the afternoon and the guy arrived around 10:30 a.m. I had closed the drapes upstairs in my room but decided to go out on the deck to let the guy know I was home. He was in the process of setting up his ladder...and was startled to see me. And my comment to him was "you're early" and he said yes that the morning freed up so he thought he'd come over and taking care of the job. So, I said ok. About 5-10 mins later, the ladder was down, back on his truck and he was gone. No work had been done. He came back later that afternoon to finish the work. This was in Late September 2010. In early October 2010, I was once again home. I had the windows open and it began to rain and the temps changed quickly and I went to close the windows. One of the windows would not close...which was odd. With casement windows, the locking mechanism is on the side of
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
and there are two hooks that grab a nob on the side of the windows so that when the lever mechanism is engaged it closes and locks the windows....but
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
couldn't be closed it was like there was something blocking
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
from closing and there wasn't. So, I called the company...and they indicated that the earliest anyone could help was the next day (24 hours later) as they were moving material from the old warehouse and the new warehouse and no one was available. But she couldn't understand why I couldn't close
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
. Turns out - the sales guy who sold the windows was in the office and took the call and was asking me what the problem was and why couldn't I close
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
...I explained...he indicated he would be over in 10 minutes. He arrived. Looked at
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
, removed the screen, tried to close
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
and found that he couldn't.....and then unlatched one of the arms at the base and closed
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
...and said not to use it until they could get it fixed as it was still covered under warranty. This was October 2010. I made a comment about windows not being able to get wet and having issues with opening/closing in various temperatures. He basically didn't understand what the problem was especially since they're good windows....and apparently he was unaware of the issues I had had just trying to get the windows installed and completed....seemed stunned to hear about what had gone on. So, until the company could figure out why
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
wasn't closing (and you couldn't force it - it would make a noise like something was between
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
and window frame). The following week, the installer came back to look at
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
- he had been talking with the company reps to fix the problem. The problem remained unfix from October 2010 till January/Feb 2011. Each time, they came to the house to address
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
issues from installation etc, I had to take time off from work - I used up my vacation time to be available and meet with company reps. I also had to stay in constant contact with them to follow up on the status of
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
. Finally, in the
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
/Feb/March 2011 timeframe - the company headquarters located in Ohio - sent a company rep to look into resolving window problem. Because NO ONE had ever had that problem - it was the first...no one knew how to fix it.
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
, could it have been due to having four sets of windows that were defective? That from the time they were manufactured to delivery time - they were warped? Where was the quality control? The company rep arrived, looked at
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
- opened it and then closed it, heard the noise/pop and said Oh, I know what the problem is....he didn't have a screwdriver on hand but I did - handed it to him, he removed the two clips on the side of
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
and went downstairs to the truck and bent the brackets - came back upstairs, installed the clips - problem solved. Window works fine. He then went to the other window and removed the
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
on that window - took them outside and did the same thing - reinstalled the clips and thus closed
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
problem case.
For two single casement windows (custom made) - April 2010 to Feb/Mar 2011.
I had three sets of doors - custom made for my house....from a different company (
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
Window Company), the manufacturer was Jeld-
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
...I visited the company showroom in Falls Church, the sales guy came to the house, followed by a guy who took the exact measurements and then ordered the doors and they were installed. The installation went smoothy! Took only 4.5 hours and I have never had any problems with my doors and the cost was $10,000. I can't recall the exact dates - May/June 2010 but using this company as a comparison example of a job done correctly. The doors are much larger than the windows, wider opening and they removed the old doors and fixed the opening to accept the new doors to include framing around the doors. - No problem, no issues, very professional....I would use
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
again but never Window Man - which should come with a caveat of "Buyer Beware".

"We were able to divide the project into 2 years which made financing much easier. They afforded us all the discounts, to include a military discount, they had going at the time which also extended into the second year of work. It was obvious all the workers have extensive experience. There were a couple of hiccups along the way as we were having special custom doors and windows done but all issues were resolved on the spot to our satisfaction. The windows and doors are wonderful. Very energy efficient and guard against sunlight damage to our furnishings, plus easy to clean. Our electric bill has gone down significantly. Highly recommend without hesitation!"

"It went very well from the salesmen who came to our home, the gentlemen that came to measure the windows to the two men that installed the windows. They worked continually without a break until all the work was done."

"Mr.
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
was wonderful to work with. He is courteous, efficient, and responsive. He also explained the various options clearly. The installer was punctual, cleaned up beautifully, and showed me how to operate the locking mechanisms, etc. I was very satisfied and would not hesitate to use this company in the future.

"The company was in constant contact with us about what was to be done and the timing. Then on installation morning, they asked if they could come in the morning instead of the afternoon which worked great for me. The door is beautiful and well made, we were replacing the original builders door which was over 25 years old.
Installation went well and was fairly quick. However, this door was to be keyed to match another door. It was keyed however, the instructions were misunderstood. The company stood by the product and will fix the problem later this month.
This is the second job I have done with
Fairfax Window Installers Provider Name Locked
. We also have gutters and in both cases we have been happy.
