These guys did a great job -- from the owner of the company who did the initial inspection, provided options, and prepared the cost estimate to the two guys who did the installation. The worked the entire day, inside and out, in cold wet weather with March snow on the ground. They encountered a manufacturing problem with the switch box they were going to install, found a nearby place to get a new one, picked it up during their lunch period, and had it installed by the end of the day. Very personable guys who answered all my questions and gave me advice on how to operate all elements of the setup. I would use them again for other electrical work on the house.

I have two circuit boxes. He leveraged the box's current capability and didn't try to sell me stuff I did not need. Everything works; so, I guess he did it right. It took him 6-8 hours to do all the work. He cleaned up after himself and he walked me through every switch.

There was a misunderstanding on which lights to install in family room. I wanted 6 cans into which I could screw in my own light bulbs. The electrician brought 6

fixtures. Unlike all other electricians he did not have the

cans in his truck and had to leave for 1 1/2 to 2 hours to pick them up at a store. I was billed for these hours. However, when

read my initial Angie's liost report, the called me and agreed with my complaint and refunded me for two hours work. In addidion they offered me an additional discount on future service. Their action was not solicited by me or Angie's list and was completely voluntary and very generous. Because of this professionalism I would use them again.

I recently began replacing the light switch and power outlets in my twenty year old home. Not only are they getting old, but they've been painted over by some knucklehead along the way. Unfortunately, I am not an electrician. I did fine for awhile but managed to knock out power to light over my sink as well as three or four outlets on the same circuit. The technician was prompt, quickly uncovered my mistake, made the repairs, and showed me how to avoid the same mistake in the future and to do a more quality DIY effort on the remaining switches and outlets. The tech even carefully cleaned up after himself. Finally, the price was just as advertised. I would definitely recommend them.

The work was done quickly and professionally. The work was much more affordable than another electrician that I used last year and the quality seemed to be equally good. I liked them well enough that I asked them to bid on other non-electrical work that their company sometimes does; however, it seems the electrical side is keeping them busy enough.

I hired this company to install a light over a pool table for a house we had just purchased. There was no existing light fixture so one needed to be installed. The light was previously used over the same table in a different house. The technician who arrived was on time and very friendly. He started the installation and then pointed out to me that we were missing a

for the light so he would be able to install the fixture but not the light. He pulled out a

from his tool bag to show me what it looked like and suggested I go to Home Depot right now and pick one up. Since Home Depot was a 30 minute drive away, I politely declined and we agreed for him to get as far as he could that day on the installation and then we would reschedule to hang the light once I had the

. I didn't quite understand why he could not just use the

he had in his hand and showed me (said they are standard) and just charge me for it, but I didn't question it. I showed him a couple other electrocal projects I was interested in having done and he said the office would call me for a quote on Monday (this took place on a Friday). Monday came and went. I waited over a week, no call. Finally I called them only to be bounced around because apparently you have to call the specific location. Once I finally connected with the right office, I was told that my quote wasn't ready. Really? It had been almost 10 days at that point. How long does it take? I was told the technician had not turned in the ticket yet.

? After almost 10 days? I told them to forget the quote, I wanted to have someone out to finish the pool table light installation they started. They put me on the schedule for that next Thursday. Later that day someone calls and leaves a message on my phone with the quote. At this point, I did not call them back to approve because I just wanted the light finished and thats it. On Thursday the same technician arrives and I gave him the missing

. He then tells me that he cannot install the light because I did not get the right

, which made no sense to me since there is only 1 standard

and the technician told me that himself when he was here initially. Frustrated, I was about to send him away when all of a sudden he changed his tune and said no problem, he could get the light installed (it was very clear I was not happy). Less than 30 minutes later he was done. Then he wanted to start on the other work that I had asked to have quoted. I told him no, I was not going to do that work. He seemed a little upset and then gave us a quote price that was actually higher than what the office had gave me in the voice mail! I told him no, he then called his office to let them know and then left. I was surprised they would schedule work that they did not receive approval for. At the end of the day, the pool table light installation was fine, but I don't really feel like they were very responsive or professional because of the other issues I've described, so I cant give them an A.

I had paid $99 for $200 of electrical work. The tech called and arrived early, and went straight to work. Very courteous and professional; knew what he as doing. He did decline to run a new cable line for us, instead recommending that we ask our cable provider to do that. The work ended up taking approx. 4 hours to complete and the tech provided some small electrical components that we did not have on hand (circuit, adapters for pendant lights). All in all, he did a great job. The price however ended up much higher than I thought it would be. I had to write a check for an additional $400 for supplies and the hourly rate for 3 1/2 hours (first 1/2 was all that was included in the coupon price).

Awesome experience! 2 days after Christmas and getting ready to head out of town our dishwasher flooded. After water was removed using Service Master, we wanted an Electrician to inspect the damage to the electrical. Water had poured out of recessed lights and smoke detector in our finished basement.
Fairfax Station Electricians Provider Name Locked
came out promptly, thoroughly inspected damage and re-assured us that it was safe to turn circuit back on. I would definitely use them in the future.
