I am so happy. I had originally contracted them for standard concrete however after several and I mean several conversations and texts regarding colored concrete (I'm sure
probably got tired of my texts because I even felt like I was a pain in the butt by the time it was done, but if he was, he never showed it). He provided me with the additional pricing, pros and cons, etc, and provided a color chart for me to choose from. I decided on the
color around our darker blue, patterned, inground pool liner, that would match the spanish tile surrounding the plants that borders the pool concrete. The pour was very successful even in 90 degree heat. I was very nervous about the colored concrete being blotched, curing unevenly, etc but it turned out great. I couldn't be happier. Although it took longer to get the job done due to the tremendous amount of rain this summer (absolutely not due to contractor scheduling) it was well worth the wait and I couldn't be happier. The entire crew was professional, courteous and just overall impressed me. I wish I could post a photo. We had a concrete walkway poured earlier this summer by another company and I really wish we had used contracted
for that job as well. My husband dealt with the walkway and I dealt with the pool and believe me, I made the better choice in contractors. I would highly recommend them and would absolutely use them again for any concrete job I might need in the future. Before the bid even came in, I told my husband, "I'm going with
even if their bid comes in higher, they just seem to be more knowledgable in pouring around an inground pool". When the bid came in, to my surprise, it was actually lower. They even left all the extra unused sand for my four year grandson to ride his quad on (they gave us the option of removing it). Can't get any better than that in a four year olds eyes LOL.

assured us he would call before he came to start the work. We had an appointment in Binghamton and when we arrived at home he and his crew (more workers than needed) had already removed the pillars from the small roof covering the entrance. I reminded him that he was to call first. In a very nasty
of voice he said his wife had called but we were not at home and he could not waste time because the equipment needed was rented (that is my recollection) and he had to pay the workers, etc. etc. I told him to settle down and that the reason we wanted the call was so we could empty the garage. He said he was not going to get to the garage that day. Our phone lists the last 30 calls to our home and there was no call made to us that morning or the day before. We noticed later that the roof had pulled away about half and inch from the house when the pillars were removed.
Our main problem was the garage that he promised would be like new when finished. It was pitted and we thought he would do something more than have four men spread sakrete around. He would come back when it dried. He then rolled something over the cement that he said would help the top coat adhere. He showed me a five
can of the paint he was putting on and informed me he had paid $100 for it. When he came back to check the job after it had dried we showed him all the "bubbles" that were on the floor that we felt would break when the car went over them but he said it would not be a problem. Within about four months the floor was a mess. Because it was then in the colder months nothing could be done because nothing would have dried. We called when the weather warmed up and he said he would come and repair it. He began to add a new type of paint and it was not going on well. He left with 1/4 of the floor unfinished and it remains that way. We played phone tag as well as talking with him and hearing his excuses and finally, on
18, my husband called to ask if he was ever really going to come back. It did not sound like he would. Things went from bad to worse and voices were raised.
asked what we wanted and he was told a full refund of the $1900 he charged for the floor. He said he might be able to give us $150 and we said NO! He said he could start over and ?????(I cannot remember the word) the cement but he could not do it for nothing .
So we are short $1900 and left with a terrible and unfinished job. There is much more about his attitude but there is no need to add that....the job he did in the garage was the main complaint.

Did not meet nickel/porcelain package.
Lousy brick mortar job, very sloppy, even though I paid extra.
Did not address warranty requests. He'd steer me towards subcontractors who ignored me and did not return calls.
Incomplete electrical wiring. (Actually had some wall sockets you could plug into and ... nothing!).
Sloppy plumbing (could not take hot shower in main bathroom ... in a new house!)
Faulty AC and air flow (one back room could not be cooled on NEW house!).
Basically, in my opinion, charges premium for sloppy short-cut work.
Years later, I'm still annoyed at how sorry this builder treated me. I think about it every day.

Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
, of
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
, was extremely responsive, thorough, and professional. He visited my property, examined the problem, explained what needed to be done, provided options, and offered a preliminary schedule. He gave me a detailed estimate, we agreed on a schedule, and I approved the work.
The work was done professionally and expertly. You cannot see the repair in the bathroom drywall, it looks defect-free. The exterior work involved replacing and painting wood trim. Again, it now looks as good as new. Mr.
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
kept me informed of progress, and went the extra mile to take care of details.

We needed the exterior of our house painted and selected
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
Contracting based on references from neighbors. We are so glad we listened to them! While they were a bit more expensive than the painter we had used previously, the finished work and the experience were far and above what we had been provided in the past. The crew showed up every day -- on time -- so the work was completed rapidly. They were friendly and professional, and absolutely meticulous about ensuring plantings were not damaged (we have some extensive landscaping in the front of the house). The owner,
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
, came by frequently to make sure the work was going smoothly and that we were satisfied. The completed work went beyond our expectations. All in all, I would highly recommend
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
Contracting for anyone requiring home improvements in the central Massachusetts region.

They were terrific. Very professional, always on time, efficient and pleasant to have around. They cleaned up after themselves every day even when the house was vacant and they were going to be the first ones in in the morning. Nothing was ever a problem. We moved into the home while they were working and they were more than willing to work around us, the movers, and any other tradesmen we had in the house. I would use them again in a heartbeat and only wish all who performed work for me were as reliable and did such a good job.

I was told after the appointment that I would be contacted with the price to finish the home repairs but after about a week or so of waiting I decided to contact

Construction. However, no contract was agreed and signed because I was told to finish the unfinished home repairs would be a big liability to

I also want to mention that my energy bills have improved as a result of better insulation provided by the new siding and windows. Thank you

Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
is a really nice guy. He worked with us to get a design for a bathroom that we truly liked within our budget. Unfortunately the projects took 4 months rather than the expected one month. The initial tile job was not satisfactory and his sub contractors consistently failed to show up when they said they would. It was a very frustrating experience.
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
always answered our phone call, and tried to address our issues. I wish his subs had done the same. Ultimately we got a lovely bathroom that is *mostly* done well. We still have some issues with the shower floor which the plumber blames on the tile guy and vice verse. We got so sick of waiting for sub contractors that would or would not show up. We just let the last issue go.

We met with
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
and his Realtor regarding a home we saw on Zillow.
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
was in process of building this home. During early discussions, my husband and I really wanted a 4 bedroom home, rather than the current 3 bedroom on blueprints. We asked if some of the storage space could be made into a guest room.
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
made it happen. He also changed the half bath in the basement into a full bath by adding a tub/shower.
From the very beginning we knew what we were getting into.
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
is very detailed about his work and does his homework. He's developed very good relationships with other vendors/contractors around the city (and outside) in which they trust him and he's able to get the best deals for his homes. My husband and I knew where we needed to go when it came to tile, carpet, granite, hardwood flooring, bath fixtures, you name it. He had an allowance already outlined for us, so we knew how much we'd be able to budget ahead of time. If there was an issue with a vendor,
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
wanted to take care of it and not put us in an odd position.
I had my heart set on a certain color of siding. Late into the project, we learned it might not be able to happen. With some research, I found something online and called
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
about it. He was able to meet me at the vendor's store within 15 minutes to figure out the issue. He understood my frustration and desire of wanting this color since it's exterior of our home! We were able to work it out and get the siding we wanted. It might have been a small detail for
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
, but much appreciated on our end.
The entire building process was very fun!
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
is very easy to get along with and very approachable. I want to add that our closing process was very difficult, only at the fault of our lender. We planned to move boxes into our home after the closing, but it was pushed back 11 days.
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
allowed us to move boxes/property into our home regardless (without it technically being our home). We were showing our rental home that weekend, so it was very nice to get it ready for potential tenants. He didn't have to do that.
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
finds a way.
We would absolutely recommend
Danville Home Builders Provider Name Locked
to friends and family and have already done so. We already plan to rehire him to build our wet bar in the basement!
