For basic service, the service is likely fine, though finding a spot on the calendar took almost a month.
The flooding problem- The window wells filled whenever the sump pump discharged, filling from underneath. After the snowmelt and rain in the winter, the window wells overflowed into the basement. The sales consultant proposed a new sump pump and widening the sump pit to allow the drain tile to dry out more. I specifically told him that that solution did not make sense in that although it may take longer for the pump to trigger, it does not address the filling of the window wells. The sales consultant said he thought it would work. After the work was done, when the new pump discharged, now with a stronger pump and more water from a larger pit, even more water filled the window well. The problem was now worse after the proposed solution. The next proposed solution involved relocating the discharge line (sensible) and to replace the window wells (non-sensible since the wells were not accumulating surface water, only water from underneath from the sump). I called back to ask to talk through the proposed solution. I was told the specific tech who provided the estimate would call me back. I never received a call back.
Scheduling technicians to inspect and to suggest other solutions took a very long time. There was no consistency as different technicians were assigned and the situation had to be detailed again with a new person.
I am unsatisfied in that the problem was never fixed and importantly, we never received a call back or a follow up. We initiated the process in early April, had the sump pumps and pit work done at the end of April, and months later, the flooding problem is actually worse than before.
The pump and backup sump seem to work well. The basic work seems to be fine. The communication and follow through was not.

I don't even know where to start.
First, I want to say if you have water come into your basement and have spent days bucketing or manually pumping water out, then you should invest in putting a french drain. I'm a single parent and I'm not rich but I was just tired of this so I researched and researched and finally decided to go with
's. Why? Well, I got several quotes, some were $8,000 selling me their so called "invention" pipes. Other, bad mouthed other contractors. Nick came in to do the estimate and he gave me a nice quote. I was skeptical about the products since most others use different ones usually circular, but I researched them on youtube.
My quote time passed and well I emailed Nick and apologized for going over the quote time frame to finally say Yes. He actually was kind enough to accept it and we scheduled the work.
The work was achieved in 3 days. The crew came in with Nick explained what was going to happen and they put plastic to protect my things so no debris or dust would get on the. (thank you). The crew were very nice and worked very fast.
Two or three days after the work was done we got 2' of rain and it was a success! NO water came into my basement! The pump is super quiet, I didn't know water was being pumped out that day until I went downstairs to check. I was getting my kitchen remolded that day and my kitchen contractor commended the workmanship Nick's crew did. WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU ABOUT THEIR WORK??? It's outstanding!
I HIGHLY recommend a french drain in your basement and if you decide, I highly recommend
!!! They beat the price and the workmanship!

The
Danville Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
folks were great to work with. After we got the estimate and signed the papers to have the work done, we were surprised by a call that they had a cancellation and could do our work that week. We got everything moved away from the wall (they even offered to help) and the work started. What should have been a 3-5 day job took only 2 short days because they put extra people on it. They worked very hard to keep everything clean despite the breaking of concrete and removal of sheet rock. We couldn't be happier with the work they did.

contacted me by e-mail and asked for pics of the two cracks. I snapped some pics and sent them. He said he knew that injections would fix the crack. He didn't tell me that they would be

hammering my floor. That was a surprise when it happened. I was expecting it not to leak again, but I guess if it ever does leak it wont leak across my floor like it has been.
Both injections went through the whole wall to the outside.
I was advised to leave the injection ports and epoxy on the wall, although
Danville Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
did say that I could carefully hacksaw the ports not disterbing the epoxy. I opted to carefully cut the extra length of the ports off. There was some extra urethane, but I squirted a little more water to active the liquid urethane--so it closed the ports up.
I then scuffed up the epoxy with sand paper and painted white. It looks great. I just need a good rain to test it. They cleaned up well.

Our basement had five to six inches of water following an intense deluge in the Spring. So we contacted three providers for estimates on waterproofing projects. We chose
Danville Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
, not just because we felt Nick
Danville Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
provided a fair price. But also because of his straight forward, no nonsense approach. He did not try to oversell or overwhelm with bells and whistles. He just gave us what I felt was an honest assessment of how best to keep out basement dry. And he patiently answered all our questions.
He also was professional, diligent and attentive. He was easy to reach on the phone and returned messages promptly. He worked with our town to get the necessary permits. The project took three days just as Nick explained that it would. On the first day Nick and his team (no subcontractors by the way -- all of the workers were
Danville Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
employees) showed up on time and quickly got to work. They clearly knew what they were doing and they were all very pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience and I enjoyed working with Nick.

All went smoothly. We did have a small leak under the door afterward, and

sent someone out to strenghten the hydraulic plugs to redirect water, and did so in a timely manner. The price overall was better than we expected.

From the moment I called their office I was treated with respect and non-pressuring sales people. They confirmed appointments, were timely, and efficient in their analysis and work. They listened to both my husband and I and checked all areas of concern before making recommendations. They were modest in their recommendations and did try to pressure us into things that would be totally unnecessary. On the day of installation, the technician was polite, respectful and efficient as well. He was sure to explain everything to me prior to leaving. The day after installation I noticed that something looked a bit off on the air vent and they came back that day to address it, even though it was something they probably could have talked me through on the phone. I would recommend them for any waterproofing needs.

Arid installed French drains in our basement and they did a fantastic job. We got a bunch of estimates, some that were so out of line ($15,000!!!) and some that you could tell were very desperate for the work. We really were overwhelmed and had no idea what we were doing, but from my limited understanding, Arid really seemed to have the better product and Pat spent a lot of time with us and explained it all really well. Arid's price was right in the middle and a friend had used them and recommended them highly. Ultimately, we picked Arid because we loved dealing with Pat,

Appointment was for 10:00am, he did call twice to say he was on his way, but did not arrive until at least 12:00pm. Seemed to be having technical difficulties with his phone, and so my husband told him it was fine to email the estimate rather than complete it right then and there. Never heard from him again.
