After check in, my 3 yr old child was taken back to his class with the other children his age, where he spent his time learning, and playing through out the day.
He said he had fun, playing with other kids, and liked when he had his snack. He was learning about shapes and colors that day, and wanted to be sure he went the next day so that he could continue coloring the shapes, and working with his teacher.
I like the quality of care that my son receives at this facility, he likes to be picked up by their bus in the morning, and sometimes goes home on it as well if I have to work later.
It is always hard to find a place that isn't just a franchise stamped out place that actually cares about your child, and is willing to work with them in an educational sense.
The staff work hard to ensure that every day is a great day for my son.

They did a great birthday party for our twins. We won a raffle for an
birthday party at a PTA event, and the folks there were very helpful when I arranged to have the party for our twins. I was impressed with how well the entire party went. Even the most reluctant kids were drawn into the activities - a mixture of a
introduction to some karate moves and various fun active games. They had the timing just right with a break for cake in the middle and ending with time for opening gifts at the end. All I
had to do was provide decorations and refreshments (cake, drinks, plates, cups etc) and the kids had a great time.

Daycare Center reviews in Chesapeake

We enrolled our daughter full time in
Chesapeake Childcare Centers Provider Name Locked
(Gayley St, Media PA) because it was closer to home, a good price and we had heard some good word of mouth reviews. Our first morning dropping our daughter off, the "teacher" was not that engaging and we had to ask some probing questions to understand the routine. When picking her up that day we got a standard written report but not much verbal communication, different teacher in the afternoon than in the morning. The overall sense that we got from the staff that this was just a job -indifferent and not endearing. Our daughter has food allergies and it was difficult coordinating with their nutritionist who was offsite.
Also, she was pretty disheveled (even for a 15 month old) when picking her up, i.e. sticky face, nose not wiped, etc.
First day she came home with a diaper rash, this has happened from time to time at her previous daycare - but on her first day? We said something to the director, but it continued. On Thursday (the fourth day of her tenure), I could hear her cry as soon as I entered the building, she was standing by the door. The teacher onsite - one of the many I met in 4 afternoon pickups said that she just started crying but didn't know why. I checked her diaper when I got home and immediately spotted feces on the outside of her labia, she also had feces packed in her labia. She was shaking and cried for about two hours, a yeast infection followed. We contacted the director to notify her and pulled her out immediately. The director was apologetic and sympathetic.
The price is good for the area, however it seems like a mass production. Like the
Chesapeake Childcare Centers Provider Name Locked
's on the opposite corner - expect a low price, no frills, with part-time workers who are trying to make a buck and get off their shift. I don't typically write reviews, but thought this may help other parents. Perhaps other classrooms are bettered staffed, the infant room seemed to have engaging teachers, but after 4 days it was clear that it wasn't going to work for us in their young toddler room.

Our family loves this place.
They have great hours of operation.
They are great with the children.
They are very clean, friendly, and professional. Their summer camp is
amazing. They just provide the comfort
and dedication that every parent needs. I
would recommend this facility to anyone.

We have been using Mosaic to help our son become more comfortable with others, learning more than my wife and I can teach him, and getting him used to dealing with older and younger kids as we were expecting child #2. Now that our second baby has come, our son does not hit her as he did with other kids a couple of months ago. He is challenged and his vocabulary and interest in learning has taken off. Mosaic recently received an early childhood education accreditation making the program one of the few in the area with this national program recognition. The instructors are very good and have developed a personal relationship with our son and he really enjoys going to school now.

My husband and I called this facility on 3 separate days and never received a call back even though we were assured that someone would call us back. We also emailed the facility to try and get someone but to no avail. If there were no current openings we would have just appreciated a call just to let us know.

My wife and I loved the experience as a
Chesapeake Childcare Centers Provider Name Locked
parent at the Bellevue location.
PROS: Our daughter loved her teachers, Ms
Chesapeake Childcare Centers Provider Name Locked
Chesapeake Childcare Centers Provider Name Locked
. We had to leave the school due to a local move that made the daily commute too onerous. Definitely a cut above the other above-average (cost) preschools in greater Bellevue area. I was also impressed by the low staff turnover and dedicated owners. The front office staff were just as dedicated/skilled as the teachers. Very happy that the school didn't rely on interns/current students to assist in the classrooms -- our other kid went to a very pricey kindergarden near CCA during this time and she was plagued by staff/teacher turnover in the support staff and teachers. Yummy school lunches (or so I was told). Parents at CCA were for the most part very nice and down-to-earth, at least by Eastside standards.
CONS: Student body is not particularly diverse. Most of the parents are Microsoft employees so you can feel like an outlier if you don't work for MSFT.
CCA does not advertise and rely on WOM. Also, during our short tenure, I had the impression that the Bellevue and

locations were a cut-above

location. Your experience may vary in the future, however. We have no experience with their new campus for elementary grade students.
Overall, two enthusiastic thumbs-up.

Thank you Angie's List for providing a venue for parents to research their childcare choices. I opened CCA after owning a
Chesapeake Childcare Centers Provider Name Locked
School franchise for 7 years. Our school Director and I have worked together for over 14 years. Solid administration is key to a strong program. We offer a strong educational based program where all extra curricular activities are included in the tuition. Our facility offers a full service computer/STEM lab, music/movement studio and sensory/tactile room for the pre-toddlers. Our educational programs extend to our outdoor play areas offering a basketball court, reading/writing clubhouse and natural outdoor learning environment. After years of preschool experience, we were determined to offer a healthy kitchen staffed only with degreed chefs. Our menus are developed monthly and meals are made homemade fresh daily. We encourage parents to stop by and tour - our current families will be happy to talk with you and share their experience. At CCA, we love our students, parents and staff! Thank you for checking us out!

This is a wonderful establishment! I initially found the website and sent an inquiry to the corporate center for more information for pricing and I received a return email within 30 minutes with an informational packet attached, as well as a very professional and friendly email offering to set up a visit with the director at this site,

, the center director, also sent an email the next morning at 8 am. Both the corporate office and this center were very friendly, informative and quick to respond and follow up.
I visited the center with both my Mom and my husband,
Chesapeake Childcare Centers Provider Name Locked
was not at all bothered by my list of questions and multiple visits! All the staff I met were very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in meeting my son. In observing the employees in action with the regular children, you could tell things are well run. The kids seemed happy and comfortable and everything was under control. I noticed that teachers throughout the different age groups still seemed to know the children that were not in their class. All the teachers have credentials in childhood education and many of the employees were experienced and had been with Honeytree for years. I found that is not the case on some other daycares...long term staff can be hard to find. The teacher:child ratio seems reasonable ( infants 1:4). The security is great, each child has a door code and sign in code associated with them. You have to have names on file to pick up the child (for anyone other than parent). I feel very comfortable with the security.
I was impressed with the technology. They have a program they utilize, Tadpoles. This program can be downloaded as an app, or you opt to get daily email updates and pictures. Every classroom has an Ipad for the teachers to take pictures, videos and record daily activities, naps, feedings, etc. I love that I can get pictures and updates while I"m at work. They also don't mind if you just call to check on your child...which I did frequently that first week!
The Little Lambs class teacher,
Chesapeake Childcare Centers Provider Name Locked
, is wonderful. She maintains her calm at all times, and seems to be able to effortlessly calm one fussy infant while feeding another, or feed 2 at once. Even when multiple babies are crying, she manages all of them at once, calming each as quickly as possible. She loves crafts, so I actually have some for my baby book- foot prints, handprints, cleverly incorporated into some animal or theme. She isn't bothered by anal retentive parents such as myself, who come to visit once a week for 4 weeks prior to returning to work to see how things work and hangout. They actually encourage parents to come and bring their child to hang out before actually leaving them for the day the first time . They also welcome parents at anytime, and for parents to volunteer ( after passing a background check). The other teachers I have met and interacted with also are great. They seem to know my son, his interests, likes and dislikes- they seem to genuinely enjoy him and care about his development and well being.
It is not cheap. For infants up until the age of 2, the cost is $216 per week, so approximately $11,000 per year. The quality of care he receives though is well worth it. I would recommend the 460 location to anyone who wants quality, hands on care for their child, based on development, education, and a passion for happy children!

My child has finished her first year of preschool at

and we have nothing but praise for this school. It is an

school and the teachers are wonderful. My child can be challenging, young as she is, but they are patient and help her grow. When we needed to travel across the country for the summer to care for a parent, they helped us with the choice of summer program so far away.
