"During my first visit in January for a lower back pain, I underwent a month long session with Dr
PT and since" that time, the back pain has not recurred. This time, after a strained knee muscle on the cricket ground, I visited
PT directly wherein after evaluation in the first session was advised to attend 2-3 sessions per week of physical therapy. During the sessions, the friendly staff and therapists ensured the Knee was exercised thoroughly. Informative suggestions to improve posture, workout exercises and maintaining balance helped me recover as quickly as possible. Three weeks of sessions later the Knee feels great and looking forward to another season of cricket.

"this is the most poorly run office I have been to in years. I have had three appointments. the first one they were 35 minutes late--no explanation--no apology." the second they were 20 minutes late. today I waited 15 minutes past my appointment time, the therapist walks in late, right past me without a word and goes to his office and sits down and starts to work on personal stuff. when I got up and changed back into my outfit to return to work, he comes out and says he can take me now. when I pointed out that we were already 20 minutes into my 60 minutes and I had to return to work on time, his comment was "we can still get 40 minutes in". there is ZERO respect for the patient in this office. and I was the ONLY patient there!

5 Questions to Ask Before Starting Physical Therapy

Are you in need of physical therapy? Make sure to ask a prospective physical therapist these five questions first.

Physical therapy

A physical therapist evaluates, diagnoses and treats parts of the body that aren’t functioning properly, are healing or need rehabilitation, whether they’re athletes, the elderly or the rest of us.

Physical Therapy reviews in Charlottesville

I worked specifically with
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
, PT, DPT who I had worked with for my hip before. My hips were a bit misaligned, probably from the delivery.
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
worked with me based on our previous work to get my hip and core muscles back into shape. Her plan was tailored to my needs and past experience. It was a relief to speak with someone who knew my problem and would work with my schedule and abilities. Now I'm happy to say I'm back to running, biking, yoga and lifting weights and I'm stronger than I was before. Thanks again for helping me get my life back!

Outstanding! Successful treatment plus exercises to continue at home. Good listeners, good equipment, not in a hurry, very talented. No waiting, as they are always ready on time.

I've been using
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
for about 5 years. I have reviewed them before, but it's about time for an update. There have been staff changes over the years, some streamlining of the billing, and some changes to the building - all of which deserve to be addressed.
Staff: Because of some very good Physical Therapy Education programs in this area, employers can usually get outstanding therapists - much better than one would expect from such a small
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
as the
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
-Mechanicsburg area. Consequently, all the PT's in this practice are very good. They are skilled diagnosticians as well as therapists, and I am inclined to favor their opinions over those of my doctors when it comes to diagnosing my movement issues. They have also added massage therapy.
Billing: There was a time when I could not understand a single word or number on my bill. It might as well have been written in
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
. And even though the office manager struggled long and hard to make these bills comprehensible to me, in the end I just took her word for it. They got some new software a couple of years ago and now everything is much easier. That change is one of those behind-the-scenes "invisible" improvements that no one ever really notices; we're all just grateful to have bills we can read and understand. The office staff is wonderful, and if problems crop up, they will spend as much time as necessary with you to resolve them.
The building: They have expanded to occupy the entire building, adding a medically oriented gym which can be used as a continuation of the PT program, or independently as an alternative to gyms like Gold's or Planet Fitness. The gym merits a separate review and I will be writing one shortly.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the service I get from

With my fibromyalgia, I've had physical therapy at many places in
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
and Loudoun counties over the years. In my opinion,
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
is the best!
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
is my primary therapist, but I've had visits with all the therapists. One of the great things about Restore is that
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
has assembled a team whose members have different specialized treatment methods so your therapy can be tailored to exactly what you need. It's not just their expertise that makes them outstanding. The friendly environment and compassion shown by the team make this a place you want to go to for treatment. This is not your typical factory run/cookie-cutter physical therapy practice where you are just another faceless person to treat. They truly care about you and want your treatment to be the best it can be. I can't count the number of times that I've been in pain and
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
has fixed the problem. Most of Restore's referrals are by word-of-mouth, but now everyone will know -- if you need physical therapy,
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
is the place to go!

My experience working with
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
and the rest of the
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
staff was uniformly and completely positive. The atmosphere at
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
is almost family-like. The staff gets to know the patients by engaging them in conversation and patients get to know one another. This is not an intrusive process but a collegial one, and patients can be as engaged as they like, or keep to themselves.
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
's in-depth understanding of human anatomy and physiology enables him to provide as much technical detail about a patient's injury as the patient desires. As a former dancer, I appreciate him taking the time to explain to me what is wrong and what we are doing to correct the problem. We are partners in my treatment and recovery.

I wouldn't go anyplace else for treatment. I have used Hunt Valley Physical Therapy many, many times. Previously, I've rehabbed both knees after total knee replacements. So, when I had my left hip replacement, I didn't consider anyplace else. All of the staff have been there for many years, all are very knowledgeable, patient and very caring. Had me back on my feet and independent very quickly.
- Laurette J.

It went very well.
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
PT was very attentive and helpful. If pain was felt, back off. Consideration was made for time constraints as well as body movement constraints. Some 'tricks' were used to deal with tissue having moved a bit and was put back in place. Stimulation machine was also used when the knee was being iced which also helped. Over the course of 14 weeks, additional exercises were added to continue building strength. IT was wonderful to be able to walk again with strong muscles and no limping.
Performing PT at home is essential to the healing process.
I highly recommend
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
as well as

I am seeing
Charlottesville Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
on-going until my insurance runs out. She is thorough, professional, and listens to all my concerns. She always on time and structures her treatment to be able to have me out on time. I would recommend this physical therapy office to anyone.
