Auto Repair Reviews in Chantilly

answered the phone listed for
Wizards on Angie's list. We set up an appointment for that day and he arrived 5 minutes early at my place of work. He reviewed the damage and provided an estimate. Once we agreed on the price he went right to work. Despite challenges due to the
location in the door, he able to remove it in about an hour and now it looks great!
stated he's been doing this type of work for 13 years and it shows.

From drop off of our vehicle to pick up (the next day!) the customer service of
in Chantilly was excellent. The staff took the time to explain exactly what work would be done, gave me an estimate of the cost, and a projected timeline of 4-7 days to complete the work. I dropped the car off on a Tuesday morning and received a phone call Wednesday morning that my car was ready for pick up. The car looked perfect, they explained all the work that had been done, and even went the extra step to wash and vacuum. I was extremely happy with the work done and the customer service exceeded my expectations.

Auto Repair reviews in Chantilly

I had an accident and a friend of mine referred me to Z. The insurance company towed my car there. There was a mix up on the paperwork, but it turned out ot be my insurance company's fault. The work was done quickly and the car was ready when expected. There was also some additional damage that Z found that he was able to get the insurance company to pay for. I woul dhave had an issue onthe first hot day, but he saw that and fixed it. There was also a piece that was replaced that he did not charge ofr becuase of a confusion on the order. I offered to pay, but he

My car was due for a state inspection this month. When I purchased my 2006 TL in 2005 from
Chantilly Auto Repair Provider Name Locked
I was told that I would get free street inspections for the duration of time that I owned the car. The first year they would not honor their claim, saying it was "illegal" for them to provide a free state inspection. I moved

and started going to Radly
Chantilly Auto Repair Provider Name Locked
, who somehow was actually able to provide the free state inspections.... I moved back closer to
Chantilly Auto Repair Provider Name Locked
and while getting an oil change last year they mentioned they do in fact provide free state inspections. So this past weekend I take my car to
Chantilly Auto Repair Provider Name Locked
for the state and emissions inspection. About an hour later a representative calls me to tell me that my brakes failed inspection, and then proceeds to provide a laundry list of other repairs they suggest I make, to the tune of $2700! Since she had listed out so many things, and I want to confirm everything, I ask if anything kept my car from passing inspection. She says yes, my brakes failed and I would also need to have my rotors re-surfaced to pass my state inspection. I ask how much that will cost and she gives me a quote of $850. My husband hears all of this and quickly calls his prefered service center, Virginia Tire and Auto in Centreville. They tell him that for the same service it will cost $640. I call

back and tell them NOT to service the car as I found another place that will replace the brakes and re-surface the rotors for $200 less. I pick up my car, and only have to pay for the emissions inspection. I notice that my car has a new state inspection on it now, showing that my car passed and is good until

2014. I assume this was because they planned to do the work and simply put a new sticker on the car before doing the work, and then did not change it when they did not actually service the car. I have paperwork that states that my brakes failed inspection, and then another form that shows that my brakes passed inspection.
I take my car to Virginia Tire and Auto, and 30 minutes later the service manager calls me to ask if I really want to replace my brakes at this time as they still have 20% of their life left. I ask him what that means, and based on the driving I do he says I can drive on these brakes until spring and have a few months left on them. I inform him that
Chantilly Auto Repair Provider Name Locked
told me that my brakes actually failed inspection and he said absolutely not and that it would have been a serious problem for them to fail me based on these brakes.
On Monday I receive a call from
Chantilly Auto Repair Provider Name Locked
asking if I am happy with my service. I tell them I am extremely unhappy and explain what happened. The lady on the phone starts to say, "Well I'm sure they didn't tell you they failed...." and then stopped and says "actually I won't say what they said". At this point I am even more ticked and informed her that they DID in fact tell me that my brakes failed and I even specifically asked again to double check before I had to spend the money that I wasn't planning on. She claimed a service manager would contact me, which has yet to happen.
Stinks because I love my car, but after this experience I am seriously hesitant to buy another

. What I do know, is that if I do buy another

, is certainly will NOT be at

. They will never see another penny from me!

I appreciate their honesty in discussing my options for repairing the damage to my minivan, including option of not fixing the damages and what that would mean long-term. They encouraged me to call my insurance company to see if they would cover the work even though the damage happened a long time ago. And the best - they successfully re-attached the right rear bumper that was hanging off its tracks. Another auto body place had said it couldn't be re-attached and they would have to get it in the shop and take it off and do some work to the tune of $500. Sterling did it in 5 minutes for free. If I choose to get the other damages repaired, I will definitely return to Sterling.

Our Honda Civic had the front bumper ripped off from scrapping against a pillar. Since my son drives this car we told the body shops to find the cheapest way to repair the car. We visited three body shops - the estimates ranged from $550 to $800.
We then went to
Chantilly Auto Repair Provider Name Locked
. The adjustor told us he would give two estimates, one to reattach the bumper "if you can live the scrapes" and one for a brand new bumper. He was the first adjustor to even suggest this! He explained that the bumper was fine, all the clips holding the bumper did their job and broke, so it was just a matter of replacing clips and aligning everything. The scrapping

on the bumper would still be there but that was the cheapest way to fix it. He would also quote a price for a new bumper.
The quote to re-attach the exisiting bumper was $110. My son was so happy since he had to pay for this himself. A lot better than paying over $500, and he could live with the marked up bumper. So we told
Chantilly Auto Repair Provider Name Locked
to go ahead and fix the car. A few hours later it was done, just like they promised.
So a big thank you to
Chantilly Auto Repair Provider Name Locked
for thinking outside the box and saving my son over $400.

This was an outstanding experience. Z gave me an estimate within 10 minutes. The cost and 2 day turn around was good news. I have experienced much longer times to get repairs from bigger companies. I got a call within 1-1/2 days and it was ready. The service was exceptional. The job is beautiful. You cannot tell where the accident was. The cost was the same, no extras.
