Once he told me that, he offered to replace the toilet-by 4:00 that same afternoon, complete with the caulking done, the mess picked up and the floor cleaned up for about $700.00. (I have the written estimate he provided) I told him that I would like to try and stop the constant running before getting into the expense of a new toilet and asked him if he had ever looked online for the part(s) and added that you can find anything on the internet. I had researched this slightly (doing the repair myself) prior to calling and it did not seem to be all that difficult. I just didn't want to deal with it, especially if someone with save me the trouble for $39.95. He told me that he does not use the internet and that he would leave it up to me to locate the replacement part. He then sent his partner upstairs to take a picture of the inside of the toilet with his phone so that he could give me the serial number from the inside of the tank. Before we parted company, he offered to come back and install the replacement part(s) should I be able to find them online for around $200.00 but offered to deduct the $39.95 I paid for it to be done today. He told me he expected me to stay in touch with him should I find the part and offered again to return to install the pieces (for $150.00 ish. Discounting me for the $39.95 I paid today to have him do the same thing,) I did find an entire assembly to replace the inside parts online. There was no shortage of choices. Lowe's even seemed to have the parts needed. The serial number was useless and all I really needed was the name of the manufacturer and the model number. The part came quickly (within about three days). I paid $7.95. I viewed a video on U-tube on How to repair this toilet and after draining the tank, I was done and had it fixed in a matter of minutes. It has been well over a week and my toilet has stopped "trickeling" and no longer runs. I felt that I wasted my money as the service that was specifically advertised was accomplished by myself (65 yr old grandmother). .

He performed the service requested (which was the Angie's List main drain inspection and clean out service). Since I didn't require any main drain cleaning services, he located where two areas in the main drain connection where I may have issues in the future and could perform repairs now, if desired. While neither problem presented an imminent issue/concern, I chose to hold off on the proactive replacements/repairs. He also quoted me very fair pricing on water heater replacements (which I will likely elect to do in the near future) and other small plumbing repair services in my home. I am glad I had the service performed, glad he came to the home for the inspection/quotes, and will be looking forward to doing business with him again in the future!

was great; we had very specific requests regarding valve placement and configuration due to some imminent remodeling, and he worked with us every step of the way. He was careful, thorough, and very respectful of our home. He also observed that we had a sewer cleanout in our driveway (which we knew) and that it was put there for a reason (which we hadn't thought about). One his suggestion, we also rodded our sewer because it hadn't been done in at least 10 years. We were very happy with our service from beginning to end.

At that point he stuck a screwdriver through the condenser units grates and shoved the fan blade with the screwdriver, getting it turning again. At that point, he said he couldn't do anything about it under our warranty because it was running fine. On August 4th the fan completely quit again and a third tech (

I asked for an estimate of the cost to install a new kitchen faucet. The receptionist quoted me the price for one hour. I asked if I could use my coupon from Angie’s List which was not expired. The receptionist said she didn’t know but would check and call me back. She did not call me back. I requested their service because my kitchen faucet was not working and their hourly rate was better than the other 2 companies I called. When the plumber came out, I asked if I could use my Angie’s List coupon and he said he needed to check, even though it was not expired. I asked how he was going to install it by himself because someone had to hold the parts from above the sink. He said that the office sent only him so I had to hold the faucet from on top. This job took 1 ½ hours but they charged me for 2 hours because they round up. I expressed my frustration due to being told it would be done within an hour. So he called the office and they decided to honor the coupon. I ended up paying about $70 more than the competitors had quoted me. Within days, one of the faucets became loose. I called Millburn and the same plumber came out by himself again and adjusted it with my assistance. Within days, it was loose again. The owner of Millburn told me that they would come out one more time but if that didn’t fix the issue then it was my faucet that was the problem (even though it was brand new). I called the manufacturer of the faucet. They sent me another faucet. I requested a different plumber and complained that the first 2 times they only sent 1 plumber, which ended up costing me more money because they charge by the hour and ended costing me more lost time (not to mention that I was not reimbursed for my assistance.) A different plumber came out with his assistant. He stated that he found that the faucet was not properly installed, which was why the faucet did not remain secured. He did not need to install the newly received faucet. The service I received from the 2nd plumber on the 3rd visit was efficient and professional. I give this company a grade of D- because they would not answer my question about the coupon in a timely manner, they sent only 1 plumber which made the job exceed the usual time estimate for installing a kitchen faucet, the plumber did a poor job, I had to be the plumber’s assistance which cost me 2 hours of my time, they cost me even more time by sending the same plumber alone the 2nd time who then ended up making the same mistake again. I

Went very well. Called the Plumbers Joint on Sunday around 10:30 am. Got through right away. The technician listened to my issue, informed me that someone could come out today and also advised me of the additional expense for a Sunday call, asking if this was an issue which could wait until tomorrow (Mon), as I would save money by waiting. I chose to have them come out today and they were onsite within 2 hours. He completed the work within the time frame he told me; cleaned up after himself, and when he left, things were as good as new.
