Home Theater Installation reviews in Arlington

These guys were great! First I called them to set up an appointment and get a quote. Gio was really helpful on the phone. He answered all my questions and even gave me a suggestion or two as to what items to buy beforehand so that they were available to install when he came. He was also able to give me a quote over the phone, which was extremely reasonable....More /> Throughout the process Gio informed us of what he was doing and sought our input before cutting our drywall and installing anything. He didn't just do whatever without telling us how he was going to do it or what the end product would look like. He talked through the entire project with us, explained why he was doing what he was doing and answered all of our questions. He was also very creative in his wiring design to give us a super-professional and clean look. Our house gave them a couple of challenges but Gio was innovative in resolving these matters and didn't charge us extra for these unexpected issues.
He was able to do everything without damaging any of our walls (so we don't even have to hire drywall people to repair or touch-up anything). Gio and his assistant cleaned everything up and wiped down our floors.
This was the second home where I had televisions mounted (my first time using Gio) and compared to my previous experience, Gio was extremely professional, creative and reasonable. I am so happy we found him!!!

was great, would hire again and recommend to friends.
He came on time, gave us an estimate for a few different options, and did the work on the same visit. Cable outlet installation was very clean. And while at our house he even took a look and diagnosed an unrelated broken ceiling fan light.

Left messages with details of job and never received any call back even after leaving multiple messages.

They got the job done, were on time/early, reasonably priced, and pleasant; but some of the work product wasn't perfect. For the mount over the fireplace, they ran white molding just above the mantle to hide the wires, and ran strips of molding into a bookshelf on the right side of the fireplace down to a cable box and dvd player. The molding only holds two HDMI cables, plus a power cord. They didn't have a solution to run more cables, like a third or fourth HDMI cable, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do if I want to add, e.g., a game console or other device to the

. For the most part, the molding looks good, but was installed too close to adjacent surfaces so that the cover pieces that are supposed to join different sections of molding will not snap properly onto the molding. That causes the cover pieces to only snap onto one side of the molding, causing the cover pieces to protrude/bulge outward. That could have been better. I had no issues with the

mount in the other room; they hid cables inside the wall on that one, and everything looks great.

The initial response was great.
Arlington Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
replied to my email right away and then
Arlington Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
followed up the email exchanges to finalize plans and schedule a time. On the day of the install, I received a call from the company five minutes before they were supposed to arrive to say that the technicians were running an hour late. She then called back to say it would be an hour and 15 minutes late. They ended up being an hour and 25 minutes late.
Once in our home, the gentlemen were very nice and professional.
Anchoring the

to the wall- Both technicians admitted that they had never used the kit before eventhough it was a kit that they brought with them. When done, I went down to inspect the work and noticed that he hadn't actually anchored the

to the wall, but rather screwed it into the stand that the

was on. When I asked why he did that, he said that the chord wasn't long enough to reach the wall, so he fastened it to the stand. I reminded him that the reason I had asked for the anchoring to the wall was because I was concerned the

could tip over, and if it's fastened to the stand all he was doing was ensuring the stand would come down with the

if it were to fall over. The other technician stepped in and undid the fasten to the stand and re-anchored it to the wall. So, clearly the first technician was blowing smoke and didn't want to re-do it or didn't understand how to configure the strap. Even when done, the

was not returned to it's spot properly and the chord was not snug. I had to reposition and tighten the strap after they were gone.
Mounting the

to the wall- The technician who mounted the

to the wall did a great job of stepping me through where he could put the mount, outlining what it would look like and having me sit where I would be watching

to make sure I liked it before starting the process. I bought a Samsung

that is very thin as well as a thin wall mount with the goal of making it as flush against the wall as possible. When the technician was done the top tilted off the wall a good bit. After they left, i took the

down and tightened it a bit more so that it wouldn't tilt as much which is very frustrating to have to have done.
In sum, they clearly know how to mount tvs quickly and efficiently, but they weren't thorough at all. They were very late and still had another appointment after mine (which I am sure they were late for), so I'd probably attribute the lack of quality to being in a rush or atleast I hope that is why. It's tremendously irritating to spend 250 bucks and then have to redo things immediately after having paid.

was fantastic! We comunicated via email(which I prefer). He came for the appointment and I needed to order a shelf. He provided links to purchase shelves for the cable box and dvd, several options. We scheduled another appointment upon arrival of the shelf. He arrived during the time window he had provided and even called to tell me he was on his way and would arrive at a more specific time. Very knowledgeable and professional, went over the job before proceeding for my input(I agreed with everything he advised). I think the job was a little more complicated than he quoted but he proceeded with his original quote. Cleaned up the area and showed me how to operate the devices. Now everything looks great and I would give him an A+

I purchased the Big Deal to have the wall mount installed for $169. There ended up being a few extra expenses that I wasn't anticipating like paying an additional $39 because my mount was full motion (tilt and swivel). Overall it was still a good price, but it probably would have been nice to have extra items in the fine print of the deal. The technician was great and the appointment was scheduled promptly. He was on time and did a great job. I am very happy overall. I highly recommend this company.

I spoke to
Arlington Home Theater Installers Provider Name Locked
on a Friday before Labor Day weekend and begged for his assistance to set up a tv in a new house. I sent him a few pictures of the where the tv needed be hung and where I needed wires fished. He told me he was booked all day Saturday but would fit me in for Saturday late afternoon between 3pm and 4pm. He arrived shortly after 5pm, inspected what needed to be done for about half-and-hour and decided to do the work. He did an amazing job of "fishing" the wires through the wall from one room to another with as minimal damage as possible.

was very professional and spent over 5 hours on the entire job and refused to compromise perfection for time (although he didn't leave until after 11:30pm). Although I was ready to go to bed and get him out of my house; he refused to leave until the job was done and made sure everything was clean and working as expected. I would highly recommend this company and specifically

and will use again the future.

They were professional, did an awesome job, and cleaned up everything before they left. It was a small job but we had a very good experience.

promptly responded to my inquiry on their website. My questions were answered professionally and left me no doubt as to the manner of installation and what was required of me. Also- I was able to utilize a already purchased flatscreen mount based on our email dialogue. The day the installation was scheduled- they gave me a 15-minute heads-up call and arrived on time. In my home they kindly removed their shoes (much appreciated with my light color carpet) and set up a drop-cloth underneath their work areas. Both were extremely professional and courteous during my explanation of the manner in which we wished to utilize the A/V systems in both rooms. The installation went flawlessly and both workers were focused and completed their work quickly yet thoroughly. They even installed an additional A/V component that I had indicated I was planning to install later. After the work was completed, they cleaned and vacuumed the debris and dust that had accumulated. Finally- they offered expert tips on use of the peripherals I had chosen and gave sound advice as to challenges they had encountered with a particular item I was considering to add to the system. This was by far the best interaction I have had with a contractor of this nature ever. I would gladly recommend
