Business Description: Dr. Guidi is a graduate of Bucknell University and Albany Medical College. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute in New York and is fellowship trained in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and treats disorders to both upper and lower extremities, utilizing both non-surgical and surgical treatments to help his patients return to their active lifestyles. Dr Guidi is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons specializing in Rotator Cuff, Shoulder Pain, Knee Pain.Dr. Guidi serves as the Co-Director of the Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship Program at Nirschl Orthopaedic Center/Virginia Sportsmedicine Institute. He was assistant to the Washington Redskins Football team physician and continues to work as the team physician to many local teams. He is attending physician to the Wolftrap Center for the Performing Arts and Arena Stage Theater. Dr. Guidi also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center, as well as on the Board of Councilors for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). He was recently recognized by his peers as one of the area's "Top Doctors for 2008" in Northern Virginia Magazine.
