Business Description: The employees of a small independent bookstore in DC started doing a few little moves to save up the funds to buy the store upon the owner's retirement. Several years and thousands of moves later, we've got our own truck and a devoted client base. The majority of our work comes from referrals and we've moved many of our clients two or three times. We have four full time employees and three part time. We never use subcontractors and never will. There is a simple hourly rate and no added fees ever with the only exception being a travel fee for jobs outside the beltway. We really do strive to make the moving process as stressless as possible for our clients. With every move comes erudite banter and a discount at the bookstore.
