"I was very impressed by his knowledge, techniques and intuitiveness. He's gifted in his practice and I've been back repeatedly for acupuncture and cupping" since my first visit. He takes a tremendous amount of time asking you questions, listening closely to your answers and applying the appropriate treatment. The cupping isn't always fun, but it has been the only effective treatment for back tension and pain for me. I've had massage therapy of every kind imaginable for decades without 'fixing' the problem, then my first cupping session had a dramatic effect as soon as it was finished. I highly recommend
for treatment and relaxation.

"
does a great job of listening and putting together a plan for today! As usual I left feeling different (better) than when I went in.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture may sound new to some, but the Chinese have practiced this form of alternative medicine for more than 2,000 years to relieve pain and treat a variety of conditions.

Acupuncture treatment is an ancient form of medicine and has a long track record of helping with a wide range of ailments from back pain to infertility.

Acupuncture uses needles on points along energy line to stimulate flow of energy and help your body heal itself. In addition to the Traditional Chinese Medicine approach, learn about other styles.

Choosing an acupuncturist is similar to choosing other health care providers. Make sure the person has the training and experience to treat your condition and is someone with whom you're comfortable.

If the naturopath also has the MD credential then every plan will cover them. They choose to take insurance or not, all providers have to sign up with insurance plans for reimbursement. Unfortunately if they are a Doctor of Naturopathy, without other medical credentials you will have a difficult time finding coverage. An MD typically goes through 4 years of undergrad, 4 years of Medical school, 3 years of residency and then potentially 2 - 4 years of specialty training on top of that. Not many Naturopaths go through that type of education. MDs also have to work on cadavers, some other health care practitioners do this as well, but not many. Naturopaths offer valuable services. If you have a Naturopath MD in mind, then it is simple because they will have registered with insurance companies to accept payments. They will know what plans they accept payment from. As a pharmacist one of my classmates in addition to a doctorate in pharmacy also had a doctorate in that area. As a pharmacist we are also not covered by most insurance plans to have a "practice" reimbursement. We work on a fee-for-service basis or contract with specific plans or employers to offer their people our services. We work with individuals and provide their providers the information about our consults.

Some naturopaths, dieticians, pharmacists, chiropractors, and acupuncturists work within a physician practice - this is sometimes referred to as an integrated or integrative model. The fee for a naturopath is most often "fee for service."   I hope this helps, best of luck finding the practitioner you are seeking.

It was in great pain upon arrival. I don't walk without the use of a cane, nor bend over. Dr.
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
was patient, kind and effective, as well as her staff. Over the course of 4 weeks, I'm back to my normal active self. Can't praise them enough.

They were excellent. They were very helpful and very friendly. My husband was in a lot of pain when we first went over there and they really took it down. He stood up yesterday; it really eased the pain. It’s not completely gone and the doctor told him he would do this so far and then he needed to go to this other doctor who would be able to take care of him. They were not trying to sell something else there. They were just very, very honest on his condition and what they could do for him and I appreciated that. We had to go back-and-forth to get an appointment at a convenient time and they were very good on that.

I have been going to Dr.
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
for several years.
As a licensed neurologist and psychiatrist in China, as well as his decades of experience with acupuncture, I find him to be incredibly skilled.
I originally went to him as a final option before an epidural for my systemic back pain. At final try at avoiding surgery....More /> He read my MRI and flat out told me the process.
Twice week for 4-6 weeks.
I would feel some relief in two weeks and significant relief in six weeks.
After that once a week, then once every other week, etc.
It all happened as he said.
My pain went from 10 to never higher than 2.
I then stopped for 18 months.
The pain came back.
I got another 10 treatments in 5 weeks.
Dr.
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
suggested, rather than just stopping and starting, if I came once a month, that should prevent the return of the pain.
I have been doing that for several years (every 4-6 weeks).
I am fine.
Again, the pain may flair up to a 2 out of ten, but never worse than that.
However, Dr.
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
's offices and treatment rooms are utilitarian. He does not check your Chi or do full body treatments.
He treats the issue(s) you have.
While he does take appointments, if he is really busy, I have had to wait 15 minutes. Usually, I go into a room within 5 minutes.

This was the second visit for me with Dr.
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
.
I had be going to another acupuncturist in NY for several years for keeping my back pain (due to sciatica) at bay.
The NY acupuncture works well, but the Dr. only .treats the specific ailment(s).
Dr.
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
wants to treat the whole body. I actually like this approach better. This is a full procedure with front and back sessions.
Of course, the back issue is the key, but after the full treatment I felt good all day.
Also, the room is designed to help you relax (I tend to meditate during treatment).
My only issue, which I will bring up on my next visit, is that I would like the the needles treating my back to be a longer session. It is currently 15 minutes. I would prefer 20-30 minutes.

Excellent experience throughout.
Spouse and I scheduled an introductory session and treatment.
Totally professional and highly effective.
Provided relief for sciatica related pain along with joint pain.
May have assisted with ED issues. Highly recommend L. M. Price as a therapist and acupuncture professional.
Intro interview and diagnosis was 45 minutes and approximately 45 minutes of treatment.

I decided for my first acupuncture
visit to be with Dr.
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
. She was very accommodating when it came to
scheduling so this was a good start. When I arrived i waited for a very
short time and was taken to one of her exam rooms. I explained what i
needed treatment for and she was quickly off to prepare. As it was my
first visit to acupuncture office i had No idea what to expect and Dr.
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
did
very little if anything at all to keep me informed about what was going on.
She would come in and do her thing and then would just leave without
barely saying a word.
I left feeling much better and this got better in the days following
the treatment. I was really taken back at her complete lack of any
bedside manner BUT I FELT BETTER so I was inclined to return! I did try a couple of other places so I would
have another reference point but have not found the same relief. I found other providers that coddled me more
and if this is what you are looking for Dr.
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
is not the person for you BUT
if you want results the Dr.
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
is your lady!!!

Dr
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
is very personable and professional. She never pushes for appointments you don't want or need. She lets you decide what you want. I laughed at one of the other comments about her 4 treatment rooms and whizzing between the rooms! She is like a bee buzzing around. I had never had acupuncture until I went to Dr
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
- but now have used another Dr in NJ when I was visiting my son. Dr
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
was much better!!! But she has a convert in me now - acupuncture really works! Do drink a lot of water after a treatment - like a massage. My Dr at OrthoIndy goes to Dr
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
. My PA at my general physician's office goes to her too. Not sure which one recommended her first. please show up early for your appointment - she is very busy. Dr
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
does not take credit cards - pay by cash or check. $80 a visit and not covered by insurance. Worth every penny!!

Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
is amazing. Be prepared to tell her a lot, as the more she knows, the more she can help. I have been seeing her for several years. I always find ease and improvement in my body after treatment. I have recommended her to a number of people in person.
Also,
Ogden Acupuncturists Provider Name Locked
is extremely savvy about dealing with insurance companies. Most of my treatments have been covered.
