Business Description: A.Z. Tanner, was the first physician to practice full-time on Gentile Street in Layton, Utah around 1905. He felt there was a need for available healthcare for the citizens of Davis County. Years later, one of his children, Noall, who also went into medicine, joined with three other area physicians to form the first grouping of physicians and called it the Tanner Clinic. This vision A.Z. Tanner and his son Noall had of giving back to the community is why the Tanner Clinic has been around for more then a 105 years. Today, Tanner Clinic is Davis County’s oldest operating medical centers in Utah. Tanner Clinic continues this tradition of giving back to the community by being involved in many local charities, school sponsored events, local businesses, and causes. Tanner Clinic has seen tremendous growth in the past decade and continues to do so. In 1996, Tanner Clinic opened up their Kaysville location, five years later in 2001, their Syracuse location was built.
