Unbelievably, they said they could come Tuesday morning and get it all moved for me. I was pretty nervous because I've never had movers before. But these guys were great. First of all, they were really friendly and open to basically whatever I wanted done. Second of all, they were fast. They immediately started grabbing boxes of books and hauling them up the stairs. I felt so guilty when they were hauling the filing cabinets up, but they were still nice about it. It took about three hours to get everything loaded onto the truck and I felt that was pretty speedy all things considered. When we got to the new house they were willing to move furniture around that was already there, and happy to put the stuff from the truck anywhere I wanted it. That included, of course, hauling all of the filing cabinets, bookcases, and boxed of books downstairs into the new office/library space. Altogether, it took almost four hours to unload everything and get it where it needed to be. I did insist they take breaks, though, because they were really working hard. At the end, one of the guys even took a look at a dresser he was moving and figured out why the drawers were sliding in wonky and fixed them for me. It was really above and beyond the call of duty. In the end, I was thrilled with the speedy service, the helpfulness of the guys, and the price. I still have more stuff to move from this house when we finally really move in a couple of weeks and I will definitely be calling them again if we need professionals again. "

"Overall, good service. Showed up Thursday morning about 30 minutes late, but performed service as quoted - 2 trucks and 4 guys. Quality was good although there were a couple of small issues, such as one wall ding in the rental property and our parrot ...more cage was slightly damaged. Otherwise, the 4 movers were professional, and did a good job of moving heavy and awkward sized items.Cost was slightly less than quoted and it took the amount of time that was estimated.We would definitely use this company again."

"Based upon my small condominium size (one bedroom), lack of large furniture to move (one bed, two dressers, one nightstand, one loveseat and one chair), and that all of my other move items were 30 pre-boxed boxes, I was quoted by the customer service person that my move time would be less than 5 total hours. I was also told that it would likely be ...more one of two easy local moves they would have their experienced 2 man crew compete during the day of my move. This was so I would know that they were going to be quick with my move to get a second in on that day. I also asked about lunches and was that they would lunch in their moving truck while delivering my move to my new location.
One the day of the move the two movers could not find my location and I had to go find them and escort them to my condominium building. They were scheduled to arrive at 8am. I escorted them to the condominium at 8:45am. They did not start work until 9:15am as they were calling into their office for discussions about the move.
During the move I found that this was the first actual 2 man move one of my movers had done. As such there was a great deal of delay while he was trained and shown how to do things. During this time I found that I had to keep looking for where and what the movers were doing – as they were often taking breaks, discussing girlfriends, discussing getting married, or discussing missionary experiences instead of actually working. I expect the total break time taken was over 1 hour. The delays got to be so frequent that I finally asked them to finish what they were doing, close up and move to my new location. As they left the stated they may stop to get some lunch (note above that customer service stated they would lunch in their truck during the move). It took me 30 minutes to drive to my new location. It took the
movers 1 ½ hours for the same drive.
At my new location, because of the previous delays and poor work ethic, most of my items were unloaded and left in the family room or garage where I later had to complete the moving myself – along with the items I had left at my condominium. They completed work at 3:15pm.
When the movers gave me their bill for 7.75 hours of work of work plus fees I immediately disputed the charges. They stated that they had to account for all of their time. They stated that they would discuss this dispute with customer service and that customer service would call me to adjust the billing as needed. Because I disputed the charge I would not sign the billing form which made them upset. I did not receive a call from customer service or
I tried four times calling to speak with a manager at
movers after the move to dispute the charges. I either left a message or was told by customer service person that they had taken my information and that I would be contacted soon. Due to my frustration with getting a response from
movers I completed an online customer feedback survey on their website. This is supposedly a candid feedback location where actual customers can log their experience – good or bad – about the
movers company. I detailed my poor experience as I have previously listed. At this time I noted that there were one or two other recent one star ratings posted in addition to my own.
Movers grade themselves from one to five stars with five stars being the best. As of today the website claims they are 5 stars rated. However, neither my survey nor any other previous star rating less than 4 is now posted.
After my online posting I received a call\message from the manager of
movers. I returned his call but had to leave a message as the customer service person stated he was unavailable. The manager left a second message and I returned his call that afternoon where we spoke and I discussed my concerns with him as previously listed. He stated that he would investigate and be getting back with me. Since then I have attempted multiple times to contact
movers in regards to resolution but have not had any of my communication attempts responded to.
I have had to file a credit card dispute over correct and accurate billing for services.
In my opinion they are not worth the effort in doing business with."
