"We have used this provider for all our family medical health. Dr.
is our primary care and the entire family really likes him. Very intelligent." He listens well. Asks questions and does a thorough evaluation before proceeding with a course of action. He also knows how to handle "Dr. Google" very well when people show up with pre-conceived ideas or bad information. I have a lot of confidence in Dr.

" we've been going to this practice for a couple years and have been unhappy but nothing to crazy until my last visit where I decided I had, had enough and will" no longer be a patient here. I ran out of my thyroid medication and instead of a refill they had me come in and do blood work and see the doctor before issuing a refill. I had jut given birth to my first child about a month before so had to bring him along. After waiting in the empty waiting room for a while I was brought back and waited for a significant time in my room. When the doctor came in he turned his nose up at my
saying "Congrats I guess" with a snarl on his face. He then rattled off some number from my blood work said everything looked the same and where do I want the Rx filled. When I asked questions about my migraine medication which I also see him for he rolled his eyes as if I was inconveniencing him. He had said the wrong place to send the Rx I corrected him to the correct one, then the Rx went to the place I told him not to send it. This is the same doctor that told my wife that she was just fat and need to loose wait when she went to see him for a foot problem. When it got to the point where she could barely walk we went to a podiatrist. It turned out she had planter facetious and need it operated on. The staff has never been friendly. They have lost bills, never sent them to my residence, and then when I go to an appointment threaten it going to collections. They never smile or pay any attention to you. Just throw bills at you and when the first available appointment doesn't work for your schedule they roll their eyes. On a positive note the nurse practitioners are very nice along with the RNs, unfortunately not enough to make us stay

I have not been very happy with
Lake Powell Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
. They have given me some incorrect lab test results. My co-pay is usually $35.00. They misinterpreted the test results. One of the doctors told me to stop taking my thyroid medicine. I have been on thyroid medicine for 20 years and I got sicker and sicker and sicker before they figured out. It was actually one of their physician’s assistant that figured out that I was severely hyper thyroid and it was bad. I waited in that office for 3 hours. They made some mistakes on the billing and administration too.

I have used
Lake Powell Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
. I was not happy with that. They were okay but not really. The availability was good. I think their diagnosis was wrong. I think that they gave me a medicine that made me sick and then they wanted to give me another medicine to counter that instead of changing that medicine. I was just not real happy with it. I went back to get copies of my test report and they wouldn't give it to me and all kind of cluster things.

Everyone was very personable to me as a new patient. Had only a brief wait before seeing the doctor. He examined me briefly & listened carefully as I described my symptoms. Although he didn't actually inspect my nasal passages (source of my main symptoms) before diagnosis, what he prescribed was very effective. He even gave me the option of getting an injection so that symptoms would be relieved more quickly. The nurse administered it expertly & it worked well. Only thing i would do differently next time is ask him if there is an option for lower-strength antibiotic, because what he prescribed had extreme side effects. I would recommend Dr

The appointment went well for a time then staff became a huge problem. They lied to me, they used me, and finally I was asked to make another appointment and I told them I would never come back because of their treatment of me personally. Now they give me bad reviews when I apply to other Doctors.

He is fantastic, he is not like any doctor. He doesn't make you go to a lot of specialists. He does a lot of testing himself. He is not in it for the money, he really cares for the people. He also follows up with patients at home. If he does need to see you right away he will make time to see you.

I said some of the most valuable things about the Doctor already. That is the biggest point. The $25.00 fee. My wife and my self are disabled and she knows it, but she always tries to squeeze the extra $25.00 fee even out of us, with little to none, after paying all of our other medical bills. Also whenever my wife could not make it, she would call, but, so what if it was 20 to 21 hours, and not the 24 time, that the Doctor wants. Both times on my wife's chart, the mysterious $25.00 charge would appear. We would always

our calendar for even these events, if a Dr. was wrong. But three months latter, charging us disabled people, whom she doesn't think we have a brain in our head to think with. Dr.
Lake Powell Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
should have contacted us the very next day so that we could have cleared the problem up, but no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUYERS BE WARNED!!!! PLEASE TO GOD, CHECK YOUR BILLS MONTHLY AS WE DO FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!

I HOPE THIS WILL HELP OTHER HONEST PEOPLE IN THE FUTURE AS THEY ARE TRYING TO HAVE US PAY OVER $119.00 FOR 2 NO SHOWS, EVEN AFTER WE HAVE CALLED THEIR OFFICE. SOMETIMES AS DISABLED, YOU ARE CALLED AWAY WITH A LARGER PROBLEM ELSEWHERE, THAT IS MORE IMPORTANT. SO IF YOU MISS THE DEADLINE FOR CALLING IN BY 2 TO 3 HOURS, WE THINK THAT IS JUST GOOD ENOUGH, AS WE ARE TRYING TO STAY HEALTHY, AND THAT IS THE NAME OF THE GAME!!!!!! P.S. Again watch your bills each and every month if you try this provider-Good Luck, You Will Need IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Just wanted to make clear that this appointment was for my wife, but that I was the one doing the business part of everything, so I was the one that heard those fictitious claims. I hope to God that the Doctor

is not hurting for the $25. each time, what a way to earn it?

I continue to go there even since I moved to St. Petersburg a year ago. I've been with Dr. Monical for like 12 years. I go twice a year for a check up. I have yet to have the time to

for a doctor in St.
Lake Powell Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
. I will do that soon, but when I pick one, it will definitely be at a small doctors office, rather than a large, hectic facility which feels like a cattle call when you go in there. At
Lake Powell Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
, you never get in to see the doctor before waiting at least an hour. It is a long and arduous process. Dr. Monical is wonderful. He spends as much time with you as you like (part of the reason for the delay getting in, because several patients are booked simultaneously). Bring a good book. I do like the fact that most of the tests that you may require can be performed right in the facility. The techs are all really nice. However, one time, they messed up a test. It was a nuclear test for a small spot on my liver which my doctor thought was just a hemangioma (
Lake Powell Family Doctors Provider Name Locked
?). He thought is was nothing but wanted the test to make sure. A nuclear scan is a long and arduous process where they inject a nuclear tracking element into you. After over a week of waiting for my results, they first told me that they were completed yet. Next they said that they couldn't find them. And then after checking with the radiologist who was to read them, they said that they were unreadable. In other words, the nuclear tech messed up or there was an equipment failure or the results were lost They never really owned up to what actually happened. Meanwhile my insurance had been billed for it. They wanted my to repeat the test, but I didn't. This was many years ago. I did follow up with a CT scan a while later, and no change on the spot. It's appears to be nothing. The reason for all of this testing of my liver was because they found my liver enzymes to be elevated on my routine blood work. I had added the herb Black Cohosh to my diet because I had read that it helped hot flashes. It never really worked for the hot flashes, so I went back in and read further and it said that continual use of the herb can damage the liver. I immediately quit taking it and my liver enzymes went back to normal and have been normal ever since. So I self diagnosed my problem and explained to my doctor what happened. I'm not sure he was convinced that I knew what I was talking about, but I haven't had any problems with my blood work since then so I know I was right. This was a good 7 or 8 years ago. Cautionary tale, herbs aren't always safe. Read all before taking!

He's very personable. I'd trust my life in his hands. He's a good guy. I've been seeing him for two and a half years. I have been seeing him a lot because I am a heart patient. Every specialist he sent me to, they've all been excellent also. He's thorough.
