was very professional. He showed up on Sunday to do an estimation and thoroughly explained the problem. He then provided a reasonable cost. His team showed up and did the work as well in a professional manner. I asked them to put their "booties" on as I don't allow shoes in my house and they obliged. It was done well. One small item is that the plumber left a bit of a mess but that is a small issue.

I called yesterday to see about having someone come out to give an estimate/replace an old galvanized pipe going into the water heater. The pipe is only about six inches long and is the horizontal pipe coming out of the wall and connects to a flexible copper pipe that goes into the water heater. The receptionist was friendly, and since I was wanting to have repairs done and not just an estimate, the first available appointment was today. The time slot was from 12-2pm. I received a call early this morning asking if the plumber could come earlier since he finished a job ahead of schedule. I agreed and at about 11am
and a co-worker showed up. He asked if I wanted to replace the whole set up or just the leaking pipe. I just wanted the leaking pipe fixed so he gave me a quote, I accepted, and less than thirty minutes later, the job was done. He was quick, efficient, and gave me advice and a quote for another repair job that needs to be done. The only downsides were that
and his co-worker did not introduce themselves when they arrived. They were wearing T-shirts from the company and I suppose it could have had something to do with the way I answered the door. We have dogs and I yelled through the door for them to hold on while I put the dogs up. (I did not get a phone call advising that they were on the way, or else the dogs would have been up already.) When I let them in, I just showed them right to the laundry room and they got to work. The other issue is the price. It seemed like a lot of money for a six inch pipe and twenty minutes of work, but what's a girl to do when her husband and father-in-law are out of town?! HA! I thought about attempting to do the repair myself but with sheetrock that was JUST repaired on Tuesday, painted on Wednesday, and another NEW water leak found. I was dreading making things worse on Thursday and having to cut into the wall that was just repaired! I was VERY pleased that they were able to do the job without cutting into the wall.
In the past month we've had
plumbing out (a disaster!! and a rip off!) to fix three leaking pipes in the attic. They fixed three pipes, took 9 hours, a call to 911 for heat exhaustion, wait for the supervisor to come finish, and he didn't do what we asked. Ended up on the phone a half hour after they left because one leak was NOT fixed and wasted all day the next day to have a guy show up at 9pm to tell me "I was LUCKY" he had a clamp in his truck as a temporary fix (when he KNEW he was coming to fix a leak!!) We hired another plumbing guy to replace all the horizontal pipes in the attic and he left with clogged pipes, the second toilet not working and back yard spicket not getting water. I am pleased with the information that
gave me today regarding those issues and as soon as we can financially afford to fix the remaining issues I think we will be calling
out to do the work.

Scheduling was prompt. I got a call the same day I sent in an e-mail request and the rep was very pleasant and set up an appointment. Got a call the day of service to confirm that someone was available at home. The service person performed a water heater flush, and while that was going, he replaced a fill valve in a bathroom toilet tank. He then performed a general inspection and gave us his notes/recommendations. It appeared to be pretty thorough.

A rating on just about everything. We mainly requested a plumber because of repeated loud banging/gurgling (almost thundering) sounds from the attic which we just assumed to be from the water heater due to sediment. The only thing I wish the service person would have done more is to investigate further the cause of this as it wasn't apparent even to him what may be causing it.

First of all, I told his receptionist on Monday that I had water running from my ceiling. She didn't seem too concerned. She
told me that someone would be out in a couple of days. Meanwhile the leak got worse. The serviceman did come on Wednesday. I showed him the water running from my ceiling, so he went upstairs and looked at my air conditioner,. He came back down and told me that he couldn't help me because I didn't have a plumbing problem; I had an air conditioning problem.
He offerred no advice on what I might do to rectify the problem, but asked me for $62.00 and quickly left. It really would have helped had he just told me to turn off the unit which is what the repairman told me over the phone when I called the AC company.

The upstairs toilet kept stopping up. S&B (or Sugarland) Plumbing ran an auger down it but they were concerned that it still drained a little slowly. They determined that it was a problem with the toilet itself, and they replaced it, all in one trip. They did a good, quick, clean job, and they were very friendly.

called to say he would be about 45 minutes late, which I really appreciated. Very courteous and cleaned up afterward. Cautioned me to be sure to let caulking dry before using. I think it was reasonably priced. He did not appear to rush his work at all.

This work was done to stop a leak which occurred because someone that was not a plumber put in the sink in our new kitchen. When there was another leak discovered a week later, but a different area, the plumber returned at no additional cost.

I wanted to have some work on the Kitchen sink done as well as a Water Heater connection tightened. the Plubmer said he couldn';t do either because of the products and warranty. I was not there when he arrived and my elderly Mother was the only one there. He explained the issues to her and then did some work that was third on my list. I was hoping all three issues would be fixed at the initial visit. He said they couldn't because of the equipment. I'm not sure I am buying that. I don't feel I got my money's worth on the deal.

I had 3 plumbing issues so I purchased a "deal" that this company offered to Angie's List customers for 2 hours of plumbing labor for $111. I had a toilet that didn't refill properly after flushing, a bathroom faucet that squeaked loudly when operating the hot water handle, and I was hearing water dripping in the ceiling next to the shower. When I called to make the appointment I was told that the offer had expired (which it hadn't) but that they would honor the offer anyway. The plumber showed up the next day unannounced after I was told I would be called ahead of time. Fortunately I was home. The plumber and his helper spent less than a minute in my attic then told me there was no leak. I showed him the squeaky faucet and he told me what I needed to do to fix it. He just blew that off. He did change out the flushing mechanism which fixed the toilet. The whole took 30 minutes which included the time it took him to go to the hardware store to buy the mechanism then replace it. He then told me I owed an additional $75 which I paid. I left for a trip the next week and was gone for 12 days. When I got home the leak I DIDN'T have in the attic next to the shower had leaked through the ceiling drywall which was ruined and the floor beneath was wet. The bottom line - I got played.
