teverything went very well. they arrived at scheduled time and worked around the rain doing the inside work first. they rerouted the incoming water line to a whole house water filter and then back to the softener. after that they dug up the sewer line outby the existing cleanout and installed the backflow valve. they disturbed only as much ground as they needed to and the work was neatly done. the whole project took a lot less time than I expected but everything was done professionally. there was a very slight leak at the output of the water filter which probably would have sealed up in a short time but they redid it anyhow. everything was cleaned up before they left. both plumbers were a pleasure to have deal with.

Service was excellent. Cost was explained up front as well as the fact that there might be some time involved due to the age of our home and the fact that it is made with stone so some chipping may be involved. Wanted to make sure we were okay with having to chip stone from around the pipes in order to remove old faucets. Chipping was to a minimum and we got good quality faucets. I signed up for their Round Table maintenance plan. I haven't called to use the plan yet so will reserve review on that until I actually get the water heater flushed and the plumbing inspection done later this year.

The plumber showed up on time and drained the water heater and installed two water faucets that I was extremely thankful for. However after draining the heater, failed to turn the heater and had to return the next day.

Our hot water heater decided to spring a leak - but the problem was worse in that we couldn't shut off water to the valve designed to shut off water to the heater failing! So we had to shut the water off at the water main to the house.

was able to get someone out that day so we could get the water back on. They weren't able to get the hot water heater replaced that day (too late in the day to get the hot water heater) but did so the very next day (Saturday). We called

Summary: Exceptionally competent, unconsciously overpriced.
Prices
are quoted from a book which gives a worst case price with tons of
padding. No reduction when job is easy. If you enjoy a feeling of
having been "took", this is the outfit for you. The work gets done but
you're left with a bad taste and an empty wallet.
Examples: 1.
Repair gas pipe. Price: $223. Job took 15 minutes and required 1

took 30 minutes, no parts. 3. Replace hot water tank: Price $1525.
for 6 year tank (after $185. "discount"). Competitors prices were from
$850. to $1050

Installed new disposal, and also checked out toilets (for possible replacement) and all faucets. He provided advice about where the A/C drain is (through the master bath!) and to keep drains clear in that area to avoid flooding. He also said that the kitchen faucet would need to be replaced in the next year or so (which was spot on).
Very personable and nice to work with. He was on time, cleaned up after himself. He did a great job. Cats liked him. I will use him again.

On Friday afternoon I had to go out for errands so I called at 11:00 AM to ask if they remembered me and had a time when they would be coming so we would not repeat the missed time. I was told: 1) they knew who I was but 2) they would not be coming and 3) to make another appointment for next week. I may have messed up by accident the first time, but they did it intentionally the second. I would not trust anyone who behaves in such a manner again.

They are the 2nd plumber who recommended the water pressure regulator. Our neighborhood has very high water pressure, and the house fixtures, over the last 18 years, have been under stress to manage that amount of water. Consistently, one or the other of our fixtures has needed replacing, more often than from normal use. The root cause of all these malfunctions seems to be the high water pressure set by the water company.
Now, our fixtures are all in top working order, and they will be able to last to the manufacturer's specs. The

The tech was supposed to arrive between 12 and 2 but hadn't shown up by 1:50. I called the office to see if he was still coming, and there was some confusion as to whether he would. Fortunately, this didn't affect me or my plans, but it would have disconcerted me in other circumstances. The tech was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. He did not pressure me into more services. He fixed a small plumbing issue without extra charge. He gave me an estimate for a new water heater, which is needed. Overall, it was a good experience.
