"so JD is obviously unethical and dishonest, but he's really rude on top of it. the day he came out, he told me, "no problem, i'll send this report to [home warranty company] today so they can get started working on it." well, two days ...more later, my home warranty company told me they still hadn't heard from JD. so I called him and the response I got was a very rude/sarcastic, "well, unfortunately I DO work for a living." (yes, most of us do.) I then told him that I was only calling him b/c HE had promised ME he would send the report yesterday. I explained that I don't mind when people make mistakes or forget things, but that he shouldn't be making promises to his customers and then get nasty w/them if HE fails to follow through on those promises. he eventually got a little bit more respectful during our conversation, but he had already shown his true colors so I had made my decision I wasn't going to use him.
and then i end up finding out that he was just trying to scam me for thousands of dollars when this other company tells me my unit is working fine and only needs a condenser. so be warned if you're thinking about using this company. at the very least, get a second opinion no matter WHAT this company tells you. "

"this company is great. tooootally recommend them. I had one company that was sent out by my home warranty company (ugh!) and that company told me I needed a whole new system even though my AC is only about 7 yrs old. what?!?! the guy was also a jerk. ...more so I called
out for a second opinion, and
told us that all we needed was a new condenser for $255, which he installed in less then the blink of an eye. he checked the rest of the system and said w/this new condenser it will run perfectly, which it has in fact been doing for the last several weeks. so I highly recommend this company for their obviously ethical behavior and honest work. they prolly could have scammed me for a whole new system, but they didn't, and I
respect them for that. I will ALWAYS use them for my AC needs in the future. "

called in his repair guy to put the ladder back in and replace the sheetrock that was damaged AT HIS OWN EXPENSE. He also spent about 25 minutes teaching me about the new digital thermostat that looks like it came out of the space shuttle. He has made 2 follow up calls to me to make certain that the system is working the way it should and to see if I needed any help with anything. From start to finish, these guys were professional and courteous, they cleaned up their messes thoroughly, and made this whole process way easier than I thought it would be! "
"The rerpresentative called to let me know aporximately when he would be arriving at my house, and showed up showed just about when he said he would. He checked and cleaned the outside unit and made sure everything was working properly inside.

I was very disappointed that their "a/c service check" that I bought surprisingly did not include inspecting the inside coils for damage/rust/dirt/etc nor did it include cleaning the coils inside or out. They didnt even mention the need for such things - that's the worst part. What kind of proper service is that that they don't even mention those types of important maintenance procedures much less perform them as part of a routine maintenance service? I take half the blame for not ensuring first what the service would include. From now on I will always make sure the service is a complete and robust one before I purchase - a warning to you as well. So, I guess I have to give them the benefit of the doubt that their service did not need to include any inspection of, cleaning of or even education regarding the need to inspect and clean the coils inside and out. Those services are apparently several hundred more dollars is what they noted. "
