Business Description: Elderhaven Adult Day Care Centers provides a safe and stimulating environment for older adults trying to remain in the community versus nursing home placement. Besides a low daily rate, many of our families qualify for Medicaid and VA benefits for our services. Their families are assured that they are cared for while they work, go to school or receive much needed respite. AGE operates the only two licensed Adult Day Centers in this area. LET US HELP WITH YOUR DAILY RESPITE NEEDS. Our amenities and services include: *Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack provided as well as morning coffee service and hydration program. Dietitian oversight for all clients. *A stimulating social environment that includes diverse activities such as gardening, pottery classes, dance classes, dominoes, BINGO, Chess, puzzle challenges, art classes, live music, karaoke, as well as special events and much MORE!!! *Open weekdays from 7:30a.m. to 5:30p.m. *Full time licensed nurse on staff to monitor health and medications as well as weekly oversight through R.N. consultation. *Full time Certified Nurse’s Aide as well as highly trained program staff providing care and services throughout the day. *8:1 client to staff ratio plus an exceptional volunteer program. *Managed toileting program to assist with elder needs *Exits are wander guarded and continuous staff training in Alzheimer’s and dementia care techniques.
