"It could not have gone any better. He provided cremation services, ordered a beautiful urn using the custom design I sent him, ordered flowers, made arrangements" for the dove release, and sent her cremains to her final resting place in another state.
was very professional throughout and NEVER said there was something he couldn't do. This is the second time we've used Heritage, and if I ever need another service like this in
, I'll call them again.

"Overall it went very well. Mom and Dad prearranged their caskets and plot several decades ago. So I had to arrange and pay for the rest. Based on Mom's wishes," we selected burial without funeral home service, but with a graveside service. The small chapel was prepared for the service when we got there, and they even had a small cooler of cold bottled water available, as it was a warm day. The staff stood by and did not become impatient or try to hurry our service for Mom. Upon completion, they carefully and respectfully moved her casket to graveside for internment. Upon completion, the site was soon restored with sod to original condition. With transfers and preparation and director fees it totaled $3080. Opening and closing ran about $1400. They also arranged for a local pastor to conduct the graveside services for a $200 fee plus death certificates for $10 each. Our director,
, conducted the entire operation professionally and with great care. We did not have to concern ourselves with any details. The grounds are very well maintained. A top rated facility.

Funeral Home reviews in Pasadena

My father contacted
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
in the 1990s to pre-plan (and pre-pay) his funeral. He decided to make his arrangements after my mother had to make and pay for last minute funeral arrangements when my grandfather passed away. At the time, he found the
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
staff to be very helpful with the pre-planning process. When my father passed away in June 2015, I contacted
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
to execute on my father's funeral plan. The company was very responsive and friendly. They responded quickly to my phone inquiry on Sunday afternoon. When my sister and I went to meet with them the next day, they had all of my father's plans ready for us to review. They executed on my father's plan without issue. Even though my father had extensive facial damage (due to mouth cancer), the mortician was able to make him look like he did pre-illness. When my father was laid to rest, he looked very peaceful. The funeral coordinator,

, was very helpful. Due to family mobility concerns,
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
recommended that the services be held at the R.J.

facility (which is part of the same company). He also coordinated with the cemetery and church for us. He also made some restaurant recommendations for the post-funeral lunch. All of his recommendations were good. As I noted, my father had pre-paid for his funeral expenses. There were no last minute surprises or unforeseen expenses. Although it is never easy to

Everything proceeded smoothly on time. All members of the staff were very professional and caring. All phone calls were answered in person, and all questions were answered in a caring manner (without rushing to get rid of you).

Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
our first contact with
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
and
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
, we felt so good about their professionalism and sincerity. They were just great. They explained everything and gave us options. They did not try to "sell" us on spending more... in fact, they pointed out ways to save money. The service in their chapel was lovely and we got a lot of positive feedback on it. Their facilities are so nice and the private rooms were perfect. Also, they have a big room for a reception after the service. I would definitely recommend using them to anyone! Thank you

I was referred to The
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
by a good friend who had used his cremation services for both her father and father-in-law, so she spoke highly of his services. This is my second time using The
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
Services. First time was October 2011 after the death of my father. Since my mother had passed earlier there no spouse to sign the papers, so all of my siblings and I had to sign in agreement on the cremation. One sister held out on signing for nearly a month. Mr.
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
went out of his way to persuade and accommodate my sister, even to the point of driving from Oveido to Port Orange 'several' times. He didn't charge extra due to the long delay or aggravation and kept me updated each step of the process.
My husband had seen the professionalism while we went through the drama surrounding my Dad's cremation and said he would want Mr.
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
to handle his cremation when the time came. In April of this year (2015) my husband passed away suddenly. Once again, Mr.
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
and his staff went out of their way to be courteous, professional and respectable. He kept me updated on each step, from the cause of death determination to filing the death certificate and notifying social security to the date and time of cremation. He then personally delivered my husband's urn to my home, and spent probably 30 minutes comforting and consoling me during this difficult time. He knew that losing my husband was a far greater pain than losing my dad at hospice.
I've made it known that when my time comes, those in charge are to call The
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
for 'three-
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
' service. His prices for cremation and urns are far less than those here in Volusia County. From what I understand, he handles cremations from all over the state as well as some from out of state, so that should say something.

What a horrible experience! Thank goodness we changed to a more professional funeral home. (
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
from the MN
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
demanded us to pay $400 before his body could be removed to another funeral home from their chapel. She actually mentioned this more than 5 times during our conversation.) We were told we had to pay everything up front and not wait for probate as well. When I questioned her on this she replied, "Most families have no problem paying this." How rude to insinuate that we are being cheap. We felt that we were being lectured and judged less than 24 hours after our loved one had died. There was no compassion. They do not understand our family's situation. During this awful, trying, time the last thing we want to deal with are rude, condescending people who are very unprofessional. What a headache! I have already let numerous friends and family know to never use their services.

My mother died and we choose Decker as our funeral home. Received recommendation from a doctor and also a friend to check Decker out which we did. We were planning another funeral until a mother of a daughter whom died a few weeks ago told me how cold the preparer of that other place was. I won't go into details, but I commend Bucky and De-De(
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
) for their sympathy. Highly recommended by me and my wife. Cost was better than expected, less than 10,000 dollars for their great service. Any questions, you can ask me at my personal e-mail: acme7784@yahoo.com

My 49-year-old sister-in-law was killed in an accident in May. My brother called
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
on May 23rd to set up an appointment for the day after Memorial Day. While on the phone he mentioned that my mother had used a different funeral home in January when my father died following a traumatic brain injury. He was told that wasn't a problem. However, a few hours later
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
called and spoke with my sister.
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
was calling at the behest of her supervisor,
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
, who said we should just use the other funeral home and they were cancelling our appointment.
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
was told that our mother's choice of funeral home had nothing to do with this but she was not moved. My sister asked to speak to
Pasadena Funeral Homes Provider Name Locked
but was told he was unavailable and would call her on Tuesday. Needless to say, she is still waiting for that call. An appalling lack of sensitivity, compassion and professionalism to say the least.
